Anyone ever played a wych cult army? I' ve heard that they're not bad. I thought about playing one myself, but then I got sidetracked with a different army. The thought has always lingered though. The one problem is that all the models are metal and to get an army would cost a lot. But I guess we can never expect plastic wyches, unless GW blesses us and puts out plastic wyches.

Ugh! My friend has a 4000 point DE army, and he doesnt know how to use it! Hell! I dont know how the crap to use it, until I realized something. Over 90% of the DE Codex is useless! The Talos is one of the worst models... ever. In truth, the 4th Edition rules actually helped my good friends, the Dark Eldar, but not enough.

In my opinion, and many many others I have spoken with, DE armies should pretty much look like this, DE Lord with squad of Incubi, in a raider, wyches in raiders, Warriors in Raiders. Theres your army, move around, assualt out of open topped vehicles, hit hard! If your feeling kinky, use some Helions...

Dark Eldar need a new codex!

You didn't just say that the Talos is one of the worst midels in the game... the Talos is equivelant to a Wraithlord in points effectiveness man. The Talos is the s**t.

I've got a 750 point Dark eldar army, and I consistantly beat my friends 1000 point tau army, I want a talos, they are great if you can get them into close combat, tell your friend to keep them in reserve and give one of his men a webway portal and then load that guy up on a raider. Hellions arn't a great unit as far as I'm concerned, it's far better to use your fast attack on Reaver's, not only are they faster (because of thier turbo-booster, but they only cost 7 points more and one more strength, one more toughness, and a 4+ save instead of a 5+ one, also two can be upgraded to blasters or shredders instead of one.

As for how "your sterotypical" Dark eldar should be played, It really depends on the amy your playing against, Space Marines, and Tau, yeah, that is very right, however Orks, and Tyranids, they should sit back and shoot until they have to assult or be assulted. Imperial Gaurd is an army I really want to play against, I think decking my army out with dark lances would make mince meat out of his vehicles.

Though I do agree, I think they need a new codex, for if the archon's shadow field goes down early, they lose a lot of potential.....and everyone else seems to be getting new codexes with the new edition.... as a dark eldar player GW makes me feel pretty neglected, they barly ever have articles on DE. I'm supprised at how few Dark Eldar get painting awards to, I never see them in the whitedwarf magasines....
