Putting it face-down, she passed it to Faust. Paper Somehow, I'm guessing that the Raams essentially made him their child. Honorarily. But there's no need to tell me I'm wrong. xp

Think of this, remember when I told you that the raams civilization crumble because they could not achieve a sustainable birth rate as well as the fact that when we spent time with them, that there was no females. Now think back to when Dimitri reacted the way he did. He made mention to a 'her'. Remeber as well when Dimitri was questioned prior to this, he talk of a alternate conscious." biggrin Giving pause here to let the light come on. biggrin "Dimitri himself didn't kill those adventurers. People like us are cursed with a second consciousness. In a very tense situation that threaten our well being, that's the only time they can take control of bodies. In this case, that same conscious took over his body and killed all of them. All that screaming he did was not him yelling at the Purging Flame to stop the attack on the raams, but him shouting at his other self from killing party. His despair must have been so great that it complete fragmented his mentality. We never knew why that happen, at least until just a few years back. I found that raams again. That's when I asked them what the third raam to be killed by the party said." biggrin

Velris hands him a few coins, which glint platinum in the light of the everburning torches that light the tavern. "Here, for the mess I made... and the elven moonwine that I want. You know what vintage."
Taps nods, and hurries to get the bottle of wine.
