 Larxene took her time behind the bushes, making sure she was fully dry (then wondering again about the powers that had made her that way) before putting on her coat again. She zipped it up and adjusted it, ears perking as she heard her name filter over from Sora and Demyx's conversation.
The girl nibbled her lip a little. It was still a bit trouble to hear she was a good guy 'now'. What had she been before then? And what happened to her memory of it? She couldn't imagine being really evil; sure, she liked zapping people every now and then, and making fun of stupid people was kinda enjoyable. And that book - well, even the pictures she didn't want to try didn't really upset her too much. She paused, playing with her antennae to make sure they were in the right place. Did all of that mean she was still a 'bad guy', really deep down? Hmpf.
After a couple minutes, the girl emerged from behind the shrubs and made her way back over to the other two. "These coats weren't made for being out in the sun, were they?" she offered when there was a pause in their conversation.

 Demyx tilted his head slightly at the long list of names.
"Axel's my friend! And so is Roxas...and Xigbar taught me how to use the portal things again...Xemnas creeps me out, just being around him makes me shiver..."
He paused a moment, trying to shake off the fear the name Xemnas brought.
"I dunno who Xaldin is...at least I don't think I do. He hasn't shown up again at least... There's also Zexion, but he's not very friendly. Saix I met too, and he's pretty mean most of the time, but I think he's got a good side to him! You just gotta find it is all...he also remembers more..."
Despite all that Saix had done to him Demyx still looked up to him. The news of his death still creeped him out though.
"He remembers...bad...things.... oh and Luxord! He's really nice, and lets me stay with him and keeps me safe...."
He left it at that, choosing not to elaborate more on just what kind of friendship they had. His head tilted again at Sora's outstretched paw. He seemed really really friendly, despite the odd feeling he gave Demyx, and he wanted to be friends! How was the sitarist supposed to turn that down?
"Of course!"
Demyx grinned, but the outstretched paw confused him a bit. Instead of reaching out his own paw to shake he just stared for a moment.
Ears twitched again as Larxene spoke.
"No...I don't think they were, but I still like 'em."

Sora put his paw down and frowned a bit. Maybe there's still hard feelings between us...I guess there should be. His mind paused. What if Larxene feels the same way? What if she just acted like that because she felt she needed to? I need to talk to her... He frowned more as Larxene returned, he wished Demyx could stay but also that he wouldn't be here. His mind and heart were in conflict.
Finally after a long silence from him, he stood up. "Demyx, could you stay here for a moment? I need to talk to Larxene alone..." Sora padded over to Larxene and held out his hand, expecting her to take it. "I really need to talk to you." He said, looking at her with an upset expression.

Larxene tipped her head to one side, wondering what part of the conversation she'd missed that had upset Sora so much. She took his hand and nodded, glancing over at Demyx briefly, then back to Sora again. "Of course," she said, sounding a bit hesitant. She wasn't worried to go off with him alone; she was more concerned that she'd done something wrong. Or worse, Demyx had told Sora something horrible about her past and now he wasn't interested in being around her anymore.

"Um...sure?..."
Demyx flattened his ears, watching the two walk off. Had he said something wrong and upset his new friends? He didn't mean to! Every step they took away made his heart (or something, he thought, since he wasn't supposed to have a heart) sink lower. But Sora had asked him to stay behind, and Demyx would respect that request...no matter how upset it made him.
The sitarist sighed. Hopefully he wouldn't be alone too long.

Sora took Larxene back behind the bushes where she had changed, snagging his shirt from out of the tree along the way and putting it back on. "Larxene, back in the library...what happened...why did you do that? Did you feel you needed to? Was I too forceful? I...I'm sorry if I was. With the way Demyx acted when I went to shake his paw he seemed to not want to, and I guess...I guess you could have probably felt forced into what happened before." Sora hung his head low. "Sorry about all that then. I didn't mean to force you." Sora knees wanted to give and allow him to fall on the ground and cry, but his courage and heart didn't want to make Larxene feel more awkward around him.

Larxene stared at Sora a long moment, then did something she didn't mean to. She laughed. After a moment, she clapped a paw over her mouth to stop herself. "Oh, Sora, no. Listen, no one forces me to do anything. Ever. I may not remember much ... or anything ... about things that happened in my past, but whatever I did, it was becaus I wanted to." She put her paw under Sora's chin to pull his gaze back up to hers. "You didn't force me to do anything. I did what I wanted to do." She paused, letting a little smirk grow on her face. "What I'd kinda like to do again, actually."

Sora cinged as Larxene laughed. It cut him like a sword, until he heard her next words. "Only if you're sure that's what you want Larxene...I mean, I know that I really want this, but I know you were hessitant at first." His face seemed somewhere between sorrow and happiness, not knowing which emotion to turn to.

Larxene frowned, looking thoughtful. "Well ... yes I was. But, well, that's because of what you've said. About people in the coats, I mean. What if I've hurt you in the past? Or we've hurt each other? That'd be a hard thing to find out, after we were ... you know ... if we got closer. I don't know what would happen then."

Sora's frown continued. "But Larxene...whatever happened, I don't care. You could have stabbed me in the past and I wouldn't care now. I just...I just want to be happy with you." He wrapped his tail around himself trying to keep his emotions together. "My feelings for you wont change Larxene."

Larxene stared a moment longer, then smiled shyly and put her tail out to wrap around Sora's shoulders, aiming to draw him closer. "Well ... I guess we don't have anything to worry about then. I mean, I couldn't have done worse than stabbed you right?" she said, chuckling a bit. "And I don't remember you doing anything to me. So ... I guess we both want the same thing now. To be happy, together."

Sora smiled. She understood him now, and he understood her. There was nothing to be afraid of for either of them. Sora moved closer with the encouragement of Larxene's tail, unwrapping his tail from himself and curling it around her. Sora touched his nose to Larxene's and laughed a little bit. Happy...

Larxene smiled, rubbing his nose gently with hers. "Just remember, you said I could stab you and get away with it," she giggled quietly. The girl was content to look into Sora's eyes for a moment, then started to blush and turned her head slightly. "We should probably get back to Demyx, before he thinks something happened to us..."

Sora was so wrapped up in what was going on he had forgotten about the other Audio they had left behind. "Who?" He blinked. "Oh! Oh yeah! Eh-heh. Demyx, that's right." Laughing a bit, he kept his tail wrapped around Larxene, walking back to Demyx with her.

Larxene continued chuckling as they walked back, not making any attempt to move away from Sora. Her tail snaked its way around his waist as they went. "I wonder if he's playing with the water again. He seems pretty at home there," she mused, craning her neck a bit to see if she could catch site of the other male.
