He looked over everything that he cleaned and even put some medical tape over the bigger wounds. The small cuts he left without any covering because letting the air hit those would help them heal faster. "Anything on your back or anywhere else that needs taken care of?"

Vinsa nodded and took off the gloves that were stained with some of Smash's blood. He threw them away then washed his hands and his untensils under a strong antibacterial soap. "Now if they find my other patient, I can see the damage on her." He was facing away from Smash as he spoke and was concentrating on cleaning the items properly. After he was done, he laid them on a clean towel to dry and then took the small magnifiers off his glasses frames and put them back in his bag.

Eventually Mari had come into the room with Bron following her. "I found her, Vinsa." Vinsa just nodded and used his hand to motion her to sit on the other bed in the room. "Nice to see you, Miss Star. Can I please take a look at those wounds?" Mari nodded and took a seat on the bed as Bron turned and left the room. Vinsa put on a clean pair of gloves and looked over her face and arms. She had a few cuts and burns, but nothing that she couldn't heal herself. Her hands were another story, though. The things looked like they were beaten raw. "Can't you heal yourself, Miss Star?" He seemed confused. Mari shook her head. "No. I don't have any energy to." Vinsa just nodded and started use the iodine and clean her wounds. "I see. Well, you just need to rest and that problem will be fixed in a few days." She winced as he started to clean her wounds. He hadn't even started on her hands yet, but she knew that was going to hurt.

He eventually cleaned most of the wounds on her body, then moved to her hands. He seen she was wearing a ring on her left hand and knew she wouldn't want to take it off, even though he hand to clean her hands. He also knew that Smash might be offended if he asked her to remove the ring, but he needed to clean her hands. He hesitantly looked over his shoulder at Smash. "...I need to clean and bandage her hands up. Is it okay if the ring is removed for that reason?" Mari shook her head. "No... I want it to stay on." Vinsa knew she would have said this, but just looked at her. He was still hesitant with his words and just looked down. "Miss Star... I know, but I need to clean up this mess so they heal properly."

She looked down and reluctantly let him slip the ring off her finger. It hurt her both physically and emotionally as he took it off. It was covered in blood and even some of her skin. Vinsa cleaned up her hands and she let out little whimpers as he did it. Her hands were really scraped up and mangled. He then wrapped them in bandaging so it looked like she was wearing a pair of white gloves when he was done. He looked at the ring that he placed on the tray and picked it up. He dropped it into a glass of water that he had so he could put the dirty instruments in and started swirling it around. The blood washed off of it and he took it out and picked at it, trying to clean it for her.

Once it was clean, he took the gloves off and reached under his shirt colar to reveal a silver chain that had a small ring at the end of it. He unclasped it and took the ring off the chain and put hers onto it. He put the chain around her neck and clasped it for her. "Once your hands are better, I want the chain back." If she couldn't wear the ring on her hand, she could at least wear it around her neck is what he figured. He turned to go towards the sink and didn't look at Smash directly, but it looked as if something inside Vinsa died. Once he cleaned everything, he put the items in his bag and grabbed the ring that belonged to him off the stand. He slipped it into his pants pocket and then took his glasses off. "I'll be in tomorrow to check on the both of you. You can go home if you want, but I recommend staying here where Bron can help you if you need it."

Vinsa just gave a small smile and looked at Smash through his crimson eyes. "There's no need to thank me. I'm just doing my job." He then walked towards the door and Mari nodded to him as he left. She got up off the bed and sat down next to Smash on his bed. "So do you just want to stay here or go home?"

Mari gave a small smile. "Okay. Just as long as we're here tomorrow for our check-up. Vinsa doesn't like when people are late or no-shows." She stood up and wanted to help him up, but her hands were tied pretty tight and somewhat still hurting. "You're going to have to open a portal if we're going to get home, hun. I can't."

Mari followed him through as it closed behind her.
