The colored page was... erm... strange. I liked Yamato's expression, and Sakura looked kickass.
I really think that the series is getting bloodier by the chapter. Tell me I'm not the only one who has noticed this.
I just hate the fact that Ino's help is being disregarded. WTH Kishimoto?! This is just one of the examples of sexism he's often showed. It really is possible to love and hate someone at the same time.
Hidan has to die. Kakuzu too. They're really annoying now. Deidara, Tobi, and Itachi will remain my favorite Akatsuki, from least to greatest. (As soon as the female Akatsuki shows major skillz, I'll have to fave her too.)
I'm glad that Team Yamato is on the scene. Nice belly shot of Sai. *snorts in laughter*

cant wait for the new chapter. i wonder what naruto changed for his new attack? i do hope though that at least it shows sakura and ino fighting together....not gonna happen im betting crying

I have been WAITING for this moment, so that Sai and Ino might get a bit more interaction. And what happens? Sakura and Sai get sent ot help Shikamaru.
Ino's a medic, isn't she? She should've been sent with Sai.
Sakura would be a bit more useful with Naruto and Kakashi, ect. She's a better medic, so since she knows a lot about hearts, wouldn't she be better off helping with Kakuzu?
And...a different Naruto? I hope that's not TOO different. I really like Naruto's personality, and I wouldn't want him too serious about things.
...The Shikamaru with Asuma moment was very... gonk It sounds mean, but I thought it was just cheesy.
The whole Shikamaru flicks the cigarette thing was pretty kick-a** though. >> And the dissing Hidan's religion. XD Heh. As a Christian, I almost feel bad for him, but Shika had to have his moment, eh?
Alright. Now we get to see some NARUTO. <3 And Sakura and Sai hopefully as well.
Get your spotlight back, Naruto~!

I love Shika's moment. It was his coolest moment EVAH. I've never seen him look as badass as he does now. After he flicked that cigarette, I seriously went into "fangirl-spaz" mode. I kinda thought that ghosty-Asuma thing was cheesy, too.
He got to kick fanatic religious butt. Whoohoo. I don't care for Jashin much - he's pretty much a sucky god if he spawns followers like Hidan. (i.e. Murderous, cuss-ful, and downright psycho.)
Sakura and Sai are probably never going to get any action, mostly because Shika's battle is done and they'll just probably help him out in recovering. Boo, Kishimoto, BOO!
I can't wait to see how the other battle will turn out, though. Should be fun. Go kick major arse, Naruto!

well last chapter wasnt that good in my opinion neutral they should have showed more but it was ok. the part where it showed asuma talking to shikamaru was a really sweet and touching moment. its was like a final goodbye from teacher to student.
i didnt know though that shikamaru could have killed the religous guy (sorry forgot the name >.<) so quick. i guesse he wasnt a really good fighter in the first place. but i still think it was a interesting fight and we did see how shikamaru fights now since the last time we saw him fight (which was like 2 or 3 years ago in naruto world).
anyway im still wondering what happened to naruto and what he learned from his training. im excited to see it. 3nodding and i hope we see some ino and sakura fighting soon...

Yeah, I enjoyed Shikamaru's little badass moment with him flicking his cigarette, BUT -- that does not prevent me from being angry with him if Hidan ends up dead. >/ I've grown quite attached to him, thank you very much.
.. Oh, bah, Kishimoto. You can't handle too many main characters in one spot, so you send Sai and Sakura off. You get one thumb DOWN for that move, if it doesn't prove to be useful.
Naruto.. just show off your new skills already.. =_=

God, I won't even touch up on Hidan because he happened to be my favorite Akatsuki member...
But I suppose his time had come.
And gah. Shikamaru is so *yawn* now. His character was so interesting and he was always all about Team 10 before, but now, he just took out an Akatsuki member by himself, leaving Ino and Chouji pretty much in the dust. >|
Not that his technique wasn't awesome, it just wasn't what I had hoped for. Kishimoto is lacking in character interaction. -_-
Whatever. Now that this is over, let's get back to the Sasuke please.
Or ...bring Sakura and Sai back to the battlefield. D8
