Axel cradled Adrienne in his arm before be suddenly reached out with his free arm and pulled Niara against him tightly, being careful of their baby of course. He bent his head down and kissed Niara softly, he wasn't going to stop her but he sure as hell didn't want her going. What a weak man he was to let her go fight, but if she was the one to fight, he needed to take care of their family.
"I love you," He spoke softly. "Be safe so you can come back home and tell our children about all the dangerous things you defeated, don't get hurt, love. We need more children, hm?" He winked as he stood there holding her, not wanting to let go but knowing he had to... not yet.

His words were her undoing. She was so ready for him to do something, anything, like forbid her to go and fight the death dragon that she had just heard had been released. What she wasn't prepared for was his acceptance of it. A few tears gathered in her eyes as she forced a rather watery smile to her mate. "I will be safe. I will return to you. And we will have more children." She turned her head down and nearly nuzzled into Axel's chest, arms wrapped tightly around his torso as she softly sniffled. And there she stood, just listening to the sound of his heart thudding in his chest. She remained there before pulling her head back, her tears nothing more than tiny bits of ice on her cheeks now. She moved an arm and wiped them from her face before she looked up at him again. "I need to go and sign up." And so, after giving Adrienne another soft kiss on her forehead and giving Axel a much longer one on the lips, she forced herself to move quickly now away from the mountains, to where the Auradome was, where she still believed it to be.

A quiet, nearly brooding Adrienne made her way across the foothills of the mountains, brow furrowed in thought. She crossed her arms over her chest with a little sigh, one of her hands rising to finger one of her crimson pigtails. Mother still isn't home. she thought, stating the obvious in her mind. How she missed her mother, known as Niara to most everyone else. How she hated to see her father as he stared off into the distance, no doubt thinking of her. How she hated not having her mother to talk to. Curse that Dassan, keeping my mother away. she thought with a frown as she looked up at the sun. At least it was a lovely day. Not that she often took notice of that.

Eclipse had been sunning himself on a nice outcliff when he noticed the young female Drake looking rather down. He glanced up at the sky and the sun shone a little more brightly, warming the air and dispersing a bit of the gloom that had come with the Shadowdome. He stood on his perch watching her, not too sure how to talk to a girl.

Flying as fast as she could go and as long as possible, Destiny flew over the peaks of the mountians, she had flown over the feilds of her home as well as the forests. But she wanted to get away from everything that she knew as well as everyone.
But in her thoughts she did not notice she had flown directly into a terrible storm. Which then tossed her around like a rag doll. Completly exhausted from trying to fight, she fell, plumbiting to the earth. But before she hit she screamed "I WISH I WAS SOMEWHERE ELSE!" and before she hit, she vanished.

Severus sat on a rock at the foot of the mountains, in his hand a plant that he had plucked from the sparse ground. How it had been growing there, he had no idea. He arched a brow, holding it directly in front of his eyes, and began to examine the roots. Just as I suspected. The roots of a dandelion. He needed it for one of the draughts he was making for Adele. He tucked the whole dandelion into his pocket with a nearly inaudible sigh. That bloody woman... Whoever seemed to be stalking him at the store, her words had hurt him more than he had intended them to. No, stop dwelling on it. He wouldn't be weak. Not anymore.

Suddenly, right at the end of his musings, a great shimmering dragon shot towards him. He glanced up and furrowed his brow before he shot to his feet. Oh, what was his name...Cajun? Kaiden? He recalled briefly meeting the twin sons of Adele, though why he would be sending him a message, he had no idea. He stepped towards the dragon, both brows deeply furrowed now. He received a sudden image of a woman lying unconcious on a bed. Bring the draughts... The thought entered his mind against his own will, and he touched the dragon. It seemed solid. Without another hesitation, the shimmering dragon nudged him onto his back and shot off into the sky.

Riku walked through the mountains wanting to get away from his "roommates" as he called his family for awhile. He had nothing really against them it was just that after awhile he felt like he needed to be by himself away from them. He could tell that whenever he was around Yue the younger Drake always seemed to get ill though Yue did try to hide it. Riku felt bad for causing the young Drake such hardships but there was nothing he could do about. He had accepted the darkness inside of him long ago and there was no getting rid of it now. Sitting down he took out of his vest a sandwhich wrapped inside a handkerchif that Chikyu had made for him earlier when he told them he was going out for awhile. He grinned slightly not really minding Chikyu's motherly ways. "Whoever gets her as a mate will have a good person to raise children with..." He mumbbled to himself and took a bite of the sandwhich.

(new charicter in the manga)
A slight Drizzle started to fall on Riku and a breeze whispered, it sounded kind of like music.. lightning flashed in violet shades as the music in the wind became more prominent. A black clous shiftet in the sky from the swirling mass of grey and a voice singing could be heard. "Do you even feel life, even care? Taking darkness closer then the light.. The life once lived and love once known fall apart in front of fear, fear for the light..."
As the clous came lower a Man with long spikey red hair and a blue head band could be seen on it holding a guitar made of lightning. His clothes made him look like a rock star. He opened his green eyes and spotted Riku. "Oh.." he said as the music stopped and the rain lightened. "Sorry man, I didn't think anyone would be here. Hope I didn't get you too wet." he leaped lightly from the cloud and landed softly before Riku.

Riku blinked the words to the song hitting a bit to close to what had happened to him in his past. He stood up when the man appeared before him tossing the rest of the now soggy sandwhich to his tail who ate it up happily. He hadn't seen anyone like the person standing before him, but then again he hadn't really been to very many places so Riku couldn't be sure if he was normal or not. Riku shrugged slightly. "Don't worry about it..." He said as he took his vest off and began wringing it out.

"Hey, let me help you with that." Said the man and a drake tail appeared behind him. It blew a warm breeze that dried Riku off. This tail was strange indeed, not only did it have an unsusial number of spikes but sharper teeth then most tails, even Riku's own. "You must be one of the Cavern Drakes eh? Didn't think you guys came to the mountains."

"Thanks" Riku said putting his vest back on. The drake tail had him a bit shocked with the way it looked but then of course his was different the his roommates tails so he wasn't really one to judge that. "Normaly I wouldn't... but it's the only place I knew that I could go to get some time away from my roommates..." He said liking to be places he didn't have to worry about falling even if he did have wings it made him a bit nervous.

"Nice to meet you then Riku. I happen to be a famous rock star amongst the humans. I come here to pratice my routine for my shows." He grinned. "You know... With your looks i bet my fans wouls take you for a rocker too, you've got most of the characteristics... Oh well." He looked to the sky which was still cloudy and swirling. "What element are you then? I'd say oblivion by your wings."
