"There's no such thing as genetic love," Lael says quietly. She yawns. Streaching and standing up she says, "I'm afraid you'll have to excuse me. I'm completely worn out. To much excitement in a day! I hope to see you all tomorrow. For now, I'm afraid I'm going to have to go to bed."

Once Lael is out of ear shot Darian asks. "What do you think she means by 'no such thing as genetic love'? I'm sure she knows perfectly well that elves have an inborn love of nature."

Lael goes into her tent and gets ready for bed. Climbing into bed she thinks, It is the predisposition to love something, not the love itself, that is genetic. Never the love itself. That comes from a deeper place. With one last yawn she falls asleep.

Jay snaps to attention, "Good night, Lael."
He then turns to the other two guys, and Lily, "I heard that about Trea. You attack Trea, you'll have to deal with me and Kitara first.
"As for Margem, there's only one way that Darian could attack her but he'd be fighting himself as he's forced to do it - possesion."

"I wouldn't dare attack Trea anyways." Nathan and Darian say. Then the elf adds, "And you're right about possesion being the only way I'd attack Margem, and that still might not quite be enough."

"Well," Nathan says. "Lily has attacked me before, but I deserved it. Believe me I deserved it. But now, when I'm making sure everything works out, I still can't speak for her but it would take possession to get me to attack her. Then again, I may be hard to possess."

"All this talk of Nathan making some mistake is making me curious." Darian says. "You guys didn't tell me what it was when we were trapped in that resort and I've been wondering on and off about it ever since. If you don't want to talk about it you don't have to tell me."

"Well," Nathan says. "Before the resort we'd been apart for about a year, and had been dating for about a year before that. During the last month or so I, well, I cheated on her with one of her friends. Needless to say she found out, tried to torch me, and ended up burning my apartment, and the rest of the building, to the ground." Turning to Lily he adds, "I hope it was alright with you that I told them."
