His legs quivered and even as his heart screamed at him to follow he knew that for now his place was beside his sister. He dragged his eyes from Maawio's shrinking golden form and turned to glance at Bakhti. "Everything is gonna be okay, you'll see." He twitched his tail and threw back his head to give a roar, it's young sound rising up above the trees.

Bakhti smiled and then turned to Amari and nudged him, "The least you could do is walk her home." She smiled her eyes showed she meant it. He was giving her up for a while to stay with her so why couldnt he walk his love home. "Go on now!"

Amari shook his head, as much as he wanted to, he was afraid that if he went with her he wouldn't be able to leave. For now this would be his temporary home, here with his new 'sister' and the wonderful trees and humidity.

She nuzzled her 'brother' and turned away from the fading body of Maawio. She was happy for Amari after all he had found his place but yet was staying with her. She didn't understand why but she was happy for it either way. She nuzzled the youngster again and smied, "You will be so happy one day."

"Trust me sis, I already am happy, one day you will be too. Perhaps you should consider joining me and Maawio one day? I think pride life would suit you." He smiled slightly, a glimmer of teeth flashing in the sun.
"I never thought I would consider joining a pride but...Maawio has changed my view of them. They are a community of lions and lionesses who care and look out for each other. A gang of friends striving to become something more than what they seem."
He glanced around the area, "or maybe one day you shall start your own pride with a male worthy of your love." He nudged at her with his snout and leapt up to lay upon a rock.

She looked up at him and smiled. "I always wanted to be in a pride but now I dont know. I was born a rouge and have had to learn to hunt and live by myself. I just cant see why I should join a pride anymore." In the last few hours alot had changed for her.
She walked over and laid down just below the rock. "You will get on well in the pride one day and you will have an amazing family. I may come and see you sometimes but well.." She sighed and continued, "I dont think pride life is for me anymore." She laid her head on her paws not knowing much about anything anymore.

Raking wicked looking claws through the bark of a nearby tree, Athari reveled in his newfound sexxiness. His scrawny cubs body had filled out, and he had become a muscular, sleek juvenile. Rubbing his face against the bark, he purred, the noise deep and quite loud. Using his claws to haul himself up, he flopped onto a large treebranch and lay his head upon his paws, utterly content with his world as he knew it.

"For friendship." Amari replied, "I don't think any lion becomes a rogue by choice, they are born into it or forced into it because of something terrible that has happened." He paused and pressed his nose against Bakhti in a gesture of affection.
"I want to stay with you for as long as possible, okay? We can stay here for as long as you like, see if we can find other lions maybe. If not then we can move on." He gave her a warm smile, yawning and shaking his head.

Bakhti smiled at him, "If you want to leave to be with Maawio at any time go." She didn't want to hold him back from her. Bakhti if she was in his place guessed that she would feel a longing to be with the one she loved but if its what Amari wanted then she wouldnt mind him staying with her. She rather liked the idea of him staying with her.

"It's okay, I'll visit her often but for now I'll be with you. So what do you want to do now?" He asked her, glancing around them and swatting at a fly with his tail. "We could always look for a shelter or something." He offered as a suggestion, shaking the mane from his eyes and turning to glance at her.

She smiled and nuzzled him, "I dont mind what we do its upto you!" She stood up stretching her limbs and yawning. She shook her head and looked around the jungle. She loved it here though she had not travelled far and wanted to see if any other lions were here.

"Okay let's go." He shook his fur and turned his head from one direction to another, hmm which way to choose? He grinned and turned to his companion, eyes sparkling in the sunshine. "Let's just pick a random path and then take it from there, this place must have so many things to look at." He nodded, and waited for her to make the first move.

She smiled and started walking down a rather difficult path. It had obviously not been used in a while as the path seemed to vanish in places. The plants were overgrown and got in the way making it rathr difficult to walk through.
She crawled along the floor to duck under some low hanging branches and hopped over some others before turning back to see if Amari was ok. "You ok back there?" She smiled happily she loved doing things like this maybe thats why she felt at home here.

"I'm...fine." Amari ducked swiftly as a branch swished back and almost smacked him in the face. He grimaced and crawled beneath a few more, before crawling up and over a few large roots. Trust Bakhti to take a difficult path.
He paused to catch his breath for a moment before continuing to follow her, making sure to keep his paws on steady and even ground.

She looked back smiling. She clambered over a few more roots and ducked a couple more branches before she reached a clearing. She stepped into the clearing and sat down amazed. In front of her was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. A waterfall stood in front of her falling off a cliff face and glittering in the sunlight. SHe smiled and watched it with amazment tempoarily forgetting about Amari. She loved it here if only she would find a rouge who would stay here with her.
