Okay, so I skimmed through it. stare It's just that there was so much and the print was so small! But here's an idea, if you really want this story to invovle gigantimous war deamons. Just for the hell of it, you could end up throwing in spaceships and pirates and ninjas too, why not.
---some random ideas if you want this to be a big, fantasy 'save the world' thing.
Well Phear sounds like a person who's dedicated to becoming the very best at any cost. The idea candidate for world-dominating demon posession, giving her amazing abilities but the demon slowly devours her from the inside out! Ahhh!
Also, this 'The eye of the earth' gem sounds drastically important, and a good thing to build off of. But, since it's a gem, wouldn't Phear, the theif have her eyes on it?
Perhaps the 'gem' is prison to a powerful spirit, like the war beasts in Seikendensetsu3. (Best game ever) This powerful spirit could posses Phear, that is if she gets her hands on it, in attmpets to reawaken and wreck havoc on the earth! Oh noes!
There could be other 'gem's too, but I wouldn't go for the standard 'fire, water, earth, air' thing if I were you, as that's been overdone to death nowadays. You could go with a different approach, kind of like with the ocorina of time medalions.
Light, Spirit, Shadow, Fire, Water, Forest(earth)
or maybe the original seikendensetsu3 element set-up
Fire, Water, Ice, Wind, Rock, Moon, Tree, Light.
This would give you an opportunity to put other characters in the story too. They could be the 'possesed' of the apocalyptic demon monsters of death, now reincarnated by tricking a person into possesion. The only bad part is you might have to go on with hours and hours of lore about how the demon gods were sealed away. Yuck. xp
The point of the story would now be to save the gaian world from the seven/six/whatever evil gods of doom! Muahaha! Although I have no idea how'd you do that. Stories with gigantic magcal evil beasts are usually fun to write about, as battle scenes with these epic monsters are filled with action and explosions.
And as they travel the world trying to locate and deystroy these gems and the demons within them before they do any more harm, they can come across everything from pirates to bears to lions and back again. Possibly one way they can do this is by learning from other spirits/demons (not evil ones) that have had the lore passed down to them through generations. I mean if you have a huge monster stalking the village why not have all sorts of magical beings all over the place? It's fun to write in enviornments like that.
Meh, it's just something you can edit or build off of if you woud like to.

Chringona2 what do we have to do? i dont really understand it.....!!! sorry sweatdrop Raven is correct, sorry if I was being confusing... sweatdrop I have written a story involving the regulars in this guild as charactors, it's linked on the first page. I made this contest so that I could get some more story ideas, and possibly more ideas for new charactors. Unfortunatly Komodo brings us up to three entries and the last day is tommrow... which can be both a good thing and a bad thing... because I don't have to be embarassed about choosing a contest that was too complicated for most people to figure out...

Thanks alot Komodo! Alot of your ideas actually coincide with some of mine, although I was taking a slightly different approach to the same kind of story frame. Thanks for the entry.

Okay so the contest will end tonight. I don't really need to say who won... but I can't really say without Ala being here, because she's an honerary judge.
So Until she get's back on the contest is still going, and entries can still be made, although in saying that I'm probably getting my hopes up.

Okay... sooo...
There's no more contests, no more weekly donations from Jimmh either, mainly becasue I've been wanting to quest for a while now and with no monies it's impossible to have any kind of goal. I really don't know what I'm saving for, it'll hit me eventually. When I do get done questing, expect more contests, and donations.
