Karin entered the lake, staring around silently for a moment. Then she sniffed the air, golden eyes widening as she caught the scent of Kana Oshiru. She blinked, looking around excitedly as her ears tilted this way and that, upsetting the headphones balanced upon her head, as she tried to hear the girl's cheerful laughter. But, the source of the smell was coming from two people, definitely not Kana.
Frowning slightly, Karin made her way towards the pair, both who seemed rather down or upset by something. She tilted her head, watching them for a moment and finally stopping just before them. She hesitated a moment and then slowly opened her mouth. "You don't happen... to know Kana Oshiru, do you?" she asked, tail flicking behind her as she absently brushed a strand of black hair from her face. She stuffed her hands into the pocket of her hoodie as she watched them, waiting for a reply.

Kietaru could hear the faint sound of someone walking in their direction. She turned around and saw a girl she didn't quite recognize coming towards them. Then the girl began to talk, it startled her slightly, she had still been deep in thought and didn't think this girl would even want to talk to them, from even her own point of view they didn't look like a friendly bunch at the moment. "Yes." She said faintly, hoping that Shojuto was still lost in thought. "We know her, are you looking for her?"

Shojuto sat still, staring into the lake blankly. Wishing he was anywhere but Ria at the moment. He began hearing voices from behind him. His sister was speaking to someone. The girl had mentioned Kana's name. "Kana.." He said, almost sadly. He looked up and looked in their direction. But then looked back down. "If you need her, she should still be at the night club." He turned back to the direction of the lake and began staring blankly yet again.

Suka had walked into the area, he had not felt obligated to do much more than grab an ID from the school before leaving the campus for something else. He found Karin trying to grab the atention of two individuals which she might have known, yet that was not certain. He had followed this particular person because he was interested in them, he had seen them from far off after he had left the campus and he decided he might take a look at where they wee headed. He now stood off at a distance but once he brushed his glove off with the tips of hiis fingers, having gotten some dirt on it from falling to the ground on the way here. He watched the two reply to her and waited to see what might come of this watching from afar and letting himself down easy, sitting quietly with his legs crossed, picking at the grass.

Karin tilted her head, watching the pair curiously as the female replied. She nodded her head slowly. "Yes, I am..." Then her golden eyes flicked towards the male as he continued staring into the water. She blinked, frowning at him, and it only darkened as he said her name. "What's... wrong with you two?" Karin asked slowly, crouching down in between them. "Kana doesn't normally hang out with such downcast people." She laughed faintly, shaking her head. "Well anyway, I'm Karin Miyagi. Nice to meet ya."
She shuffled her feet slightly as she edged up towards the male, placing her head near his to see if there was anything in particular he was looking at. Then Karin frowned, finding nothing of real interest. "Are you really that depressed?" she asked. "Or are you just that fascinated by water?" She thought for a second of summoning some up to splash all over him, but reluctantly decided against it. That wouldn't do for a good first impression. Karin smiled at the pair as she slipped her headphones down around her neck, her ears perking without the weight pressing them down.
She turned and glanced over her shoulder as she sensed eyes upon her for a moment, and saw a male a fair ways off picking absently at the grass. Karin tilted her head at him, then offered an awkward wave before turning back to the two she was currently attempting a conversation with.

Kietaru looked at the girl blankly when she kneeled down, then looked at her brother with worry. "We aren't usually like this, but sometimes things happen." She began looking back at the girl as she'd introduced herself. "Nice to meet you." She said, rather quietly, but just enough for the girl to hear. "My name is Kietaru Jima, and this is my twin brother Shojuto." As she said his name she again turned back to him, hoping that he'd say, or do something. But he remained very quiet. "Kana should still be at the Nightclub, just as Shojuto said. But we saw her there a while ago, so there's a chance she's left already. I'm sorry if we haven't been much help."

Shojuto barely looked away from the water when he finally began talking again. "I don't know if depression is quite the word." He said faintly, tilting his head and finally looking away, only to see a boy looking at them from afar, but he knew better not to say much about it. "I guess, overwhelmed is the word. But...the water is beautiful."

Karin blinked at the girl, bowing her head slightly in greeting as she mentioned her name being Kietaru. "Twins?" she said. "Well, that's pretty cool. Wish I had a sibling..." She paused and glanced between the two, tilting her head. "So, you're not usually like this? That's good to know. Kana's been going through rough times and we can't have her falling into any pits of dispair, now can we?" Karin laughed softly again, then turned her attention back towards the male, Shojuto.
She listened to his words, then briefly nodded. "Well, I'm glad you're not depressed then," she said simply. "Because that's never good." Karin paused as he mentioned he was more like overwhelmed, and she sighed, bowing her head. "It's not something Kana did, is it? I swear, that girl is so brainless sometimes..." Her voice trailed off as her eyes flicked to the water as well, and a rather serene smile spread over her face. "Yes, it is..." she breathed, reaching in. She knew it was probably odd for a neko to be so enthralled by the water, but she couldn't help it. Her fingers brushed the surface before she pulled her hand back. The few droplets she'd picked up began running circles across her palm, chasing each other around and around. Karin smiled at her little show, and let it continue for a while longer.

Suka seemed to take more intrest in the lad sitting by the lake watching the water, he'd only had that kind of felling once when he was much younger, the first time that he looked into the Abyss of the Nightmare Realm. He shuddered at the thought of it and continued to watch the girl ihe had folowed, she seemed about one or two years younger than him, but he did not mind very much at all. He thought he might like to talk to someone younger, for the last time he had was not so bad, he made a friend and a mortal enemy at the same time..which was a good thing not a bad thing...according to him at least. He sighed and thought about standing up, though he didn't he only made a small indigo orb of energy appar from nothing and he snapped his fingers, the ball enlargening and shooting off toward the rocks around the lake, hiting one and it skipping to the other side, jumping out and exploding. He laughed at it and turned hi head to watcch as he made another orb of energy do the same thing, with a larger rock then the first had

Karin blinked, losing her concentration as she heard an explosion. Her eyes widened, ears standing straight as she instantly leapt to her feet and stared around. Then she glanced back at her hand, the water droplets now all merged together as one small puddle on her palm. She scowled, biting her lip, then looked up at the one who'd caused it.
Her eyes fell upon a male, slightly older than herself, as he fired off another blast. She pushed aside her amazement for now, and instead turned back to the twins. Karin bowed quickly, and then added, "Please, excuse me for a moment..." before marching off towards the male.
She glared at him, golden eyes narrowed. "What are you doing?" she demanded. She honestly wasn't as angry or irritated as she sounded. Actually, she was more impressed. She hadn't met many people so far who could do things like this male. But... he didn't have to know that for now.

Suka smiled a bit as the second explosion happened, and was louder than the first and he looked over to the girl walking his way with a brow raised, re-situating himself to face her as heard her ask him a question in that accusing voice she had used. he thought for a moment, and then replied in a matter of factly tone of voice. "I'm blowing things up...sometimes I do that when I'm bored" and he thought he'd stand up to where she might not have to look down, but then thought about her looking up whcih would cramp if she did it for too long and jsut sat there. Waiting anxiously for what her ereply might be, his orbs of energy flying towards them like dogs called by their master who held bacon treats as their reward for obeying.

Karin's tail flicked behind her absently as she watched his brow raise at her approach. Then her head tilted curiously as he opened his mouth. She blinked a few times upon actually hearing his response. She'd partially expected a real reason, and his, in her mind, was not a good one at all. "You just... like blowing stuff up?" she echoed increduously and then shook her head in amusement. "Well, that's understandable, I guess."
She stuck out her tongue and then held out her hand, bending over slightly to reach him better. "I'm Karin Miyagi," she said simply, head still lightly tilted. Her other hand was back inside the front pocket of her orange hoodie, and her headphones fell lopsided around her neck as she bent forward. But her ears were perked happily at the thought of already meeting yet another person. It's so different from home here! she thought. Much more friendly. I'm glad Kana stumbled upon this place.

Suka took her hand and let his brow drop shaking it. He thought about the way she had replied and then decided he might add something to clear things up a bit about why he did it, "I'm Suka Hinotama....it's nice meeting you, and yes...blowing stuff up helps make thingsless quiet so I enjoy doing it when I'm bored...only when I'm bored...", that was all he came up with. He was happy about the way this day had played out, though he'd come here following Yuri in general...he thought he might stay for other reasons instead.

Karin nodded as he mentioned his name, bowing slightly further in greeting. "Nice to meet you too," she said, then paused as she listened to his next words. She laughed, shaking her head. "Oh, yeah... I understand. I can't stand silence for too long." She tapped her headphones, straightening them around her neck as she stood fully again. "Makes me really paranoid... kinda like you," she added with a faint grin, nodding towards his wolf features.
Despite this, she made herself plop down in front of him, fingering the grass absently. Her legs were crossed, the hand which was not bothering the grass grasping them lightly. She tilted her head curiously at him. "So... what brings you to Ria?" she asked. She realized after she spoke that she was probably being nosey, but hey; at least she wasn't asking about his history or something. Now that would be nosey.
