My most recent experience with critical analysis and critical thinking was at work. I work as the scheduling point of contact at my local hospital. There I am making appointments for patients with scripts from all different providers.
Writing is not something I practice often, writing essays on literature much less. I think this class will give me a great opportunity to change this!
Sadly, not reading but listening to an audio-book "Extreme Ownership," by Jocko Willink.
My favorite work of literature revolves around self-improvement.

Although you said you are not too comfortable writing essays about literature I believe if you put your mind to it you can gain some.

My most recent experience with critical analysis and critical thinking was during my first semester in college. This was around last December, with my self assessment paper. I am pretty comfortable with writing essays about literature. I somewhat struggle with putting my thoughts down. My favorite novel is "The Outsiders".

My most recent use of critical analysis and critical thinking was in the hospital I work in while reviewing patient documents.
Although I have plenty of experience with writing while I was in high school, I haven't done it since which is about 7 years ago now. I would have to say i'm comfortable but i'm sure I could use a goof refresher.
Unfortunately I won't be reading anything but nursing textbooks until the semester is over, but my last read was The Women by Kristen Hannah.
My favorite text would have to be any kind of fiction. In more recent months it's been fantasy, more specifically The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Mass.

The last time I did a critical analysis was when I talked to my son about something that happened to him at the park. I explained to him what he could if the same thing happened again. I would say my comfort level at writing about literature essays is a 4/10. I'm currently not reading anything at the moment but would love to start something new. My top novel right now would have to be It End With Us even though I watched the movie before I read. Word count:89

It has been a while since I have had to use critical thinking or analysis, my last writing class was over 12 years ago. It is so bazar saying that, but I do enjoy reading and writing. I was extremely excited to see the course reading materials because I loved manga books in high school, it took me a while to realize you start from the back. I am currently reading 2 self-help books: The Inner Work and Emotional Intelligence, fiction is my favorite.

A recent experience I had with critical analysis was writing a paper for my College Writing I course. I am somewhat comfortable with writing about literature. I don't read books in my free time, so I am currently not reading anything, but my favorite creative text would be memoirs.

I am not sure I remember an experience when I needed to use critical analysis and critical thinking when it comes to writing. I do use critical analysis and critical thinking when discussing political topics or talking about hot topics in media/TV shows like Love Island. I haven't written an essay since last year but I do feel comfortable writing essays. Although I do feel comfortable with writing, it doesn't mean I am confident in my abilities in writing a good essay. I am currently reading "You" because I hear the book is more unhinged than it is on the Netflix show. I just finished reading "Sharp Objects", "I'm Thinking of Ending Things", "A Diary of an Oxygen Thief" and "The Girl on the Train." I want to start reading "Silent Patient" next because I love thriller, mystery books. My. favorite creative text that I've read so far is "I'm Thinking of Ending things."

My most recent experience with critical analysis and critical thinking was when I watched the movie Weapons. My friend and I were trying to analyze the movie together. I'm pretty comfortable with writing essays about literature. I'm not currently reading anything. My favorite creative text is the Attack on Titan series, it's a great story and holds a lot of nostalgia for me.

My most recent experience with critical thinking was this summer, when I took Biology and English 101. I'm fairly comfortable with writing literature essays. I do have room for improvement. Right now, I'm reading "Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office: 101 Unconscious Mistakes Women Make That Sabotage Their Careers" by Lois P. Frankel. I like self-help books that are more in the memoir aspect. Word Count: 65

Hello professor, I am enjoying this different website but I am definitely still figuring it out. My most recent experience with critical thinking and analysis would be from my last English course. Since English professors are always reading I like to add comedy and interesting thoughts into my work. I enjoy writing essays with topics I feel passionate about. That said I am dyslexic and struggle with grammar and run on sentences sometimes. I am currently reading A court of thorns and roses by Sarah J.Mass. My favorite creative text would have to be The walking dead comic by Robert Kirkman but I also really enjoy Avatar: The Last Airbender comics as well.

I work full time as an Emergency Room Tech. I feel like every shift I am put to the test and using critical thinking skills. I am there to help and assist the Rn's and Dr's. If something seems off, I make them aware, and we address the situation.
I enjoy writing and I am very comfortable with writing essays. I do however feel that I can sometime ramble, and that can be a problem.
I am not currently reading anything. Once I get the stable in the semester, I will add a recreational novel.
My favorite creative text are the lyrics to Coldplay's song "fix you"
