Beau would stare bleary-eyed towards the now-surfaced Tatsugiri before limply raising a fist in triumph. "Take that, you overgrown Karp. Blew up your living room and helped take you out." Beau muttered, giving a nod towards his Snorunt as she ran back over to where he was and helped with his struggle to get back into a sitting position. Finally taking a moment to assess his own condition, he would look downwards and find himself looking at the top of a plant poking out of his shirt. Slowly pulling the thing out, he would find himself staring at an interesting-colored herb and saying the first thing that came to mind, "Correction. Blew up his kitchen. And this is either the spice of life or I got all my luck back from being blown up and this is the Herba Mystica."
Staring at the herb for a few more moments, he would add, "So how do we check and confirm? I'm still a little ear-ringy from the enclosed detonation but I'm pretty sure the answer isn't taste test."

With the titan finally fallen, Absol fell over as well, its dread-filled concerto finally reaching its conclusion and had sapped the titan of its remaining strength and of his own for that matter. Freth sighed, exhausted herself from having to constantly swim and fend off the forces that the massive fish let off that threatened to drown them at every point. “Please…for the love of God tell me its over…” she said to no one in particular as she recalled her fallen Absol.
“Between Beau wreaking havoc on its insides, it having to fend off a Mega Gyarados, and you having your Absol giving its impromptu performance, amongst other things it seems that way.” Eris stated from within. “That was the biggest titan yet, coming to thinking about it. Could have maybe easily dwarfed a Wailord, especially how he kept flooding this speck of land we’re on. It had to have gorged on that herb for a long time. I’m thinking we’re going to need to find where that herb is stashed at in the area, in all the areas, just so there’s not a repeat performance of anything that has transpired over the past few days.”
“Probably…” Freth said to Eris, keeping the conversation to herself. “I am left to wonder if Heath even considered anything like that when he tried to transplant the plants out of the crater…”
“You know the answer to that.” Eris said. “There’s no way he would have known it any more than him realizing that he’d be seen as a madman once he tried to publish that book. If I had to guess, he probably didn’t bother checking if this stuff actually grew anywhere. What reason would he have? He was effectively discredited and probably any means of him actually doing anything was given the shaft. So everything that he tried to work for was promptly forgotten about.”
“Until nowadays, that is.” Freth said. “Ugh, something tells me Raifort knows more than she had let on. Wait a second…” Freth then looked around, remembering that Raifort is still missing, and all that came of it was a Zoroark that was apparently here. Freth went over to her Walrien to go check the Zoroark out, let alone try to make sure Raifort was in fact not here and preferably not still underwater somewhere. “Walrien, you didn’t see anything else down in the water did you?” she asked her sea beast. “No humans or anything, right?”
“Waaaaallll…” The Walrien roared out.
“Ugh, I was afraid you were going to say that…guys, we’re still missing Raifort…” Freth said. “And all we got here…is a soaked Zoroark.” She then knelt down to try to see if the Zoroark was concious and to see if she couldn’t get any insight as to what was going on here. The whole reason why they were here was rescue Raifort. Freth had her suspicions she actually wasn’t ever here, which wasn’t helping her mood any.

“Oh thank god.” Tsuki croaked, bringing his hands behind his head and looking upwards so he could just catch his breath. He returned Coffee back to his Pokeball and looked around when Freth spoke up about Professor Raifort still being gone. Well, gone or replaced by a Zoroark of all things which did not bode well for the other Titan group. He decided that the best thing to do in that moment was pull out his phone and send a group text to the others- maybe they had faced a similar problem? “Tsuki to the Lurking Steel Group” ’Heyo, Tsuki here. Is Raifort there? Or was she also a Zoroark in disguise? I’m gonna check the lake and see if she drowned rq, don’t mind me.’ Once that was done, Tsuki sent out his Blastoise again. “Do me a favor and check the bottom of the lake for anything interesting, particularly a whole lady? Just to double check.” He asked. There was no way he was getting back in that lake right now, not after nearly drowning his fair share in the last few minutes. Baja nodded and turned into the water, disappearing under the depths to check out for anything that stood out to him. Tsuki meanwhile, took the opportunity to walk towards the other Snagems and see if they had a clue of what that was. “So, if Ms. Raifort isn’t literally dead in the water that means one of two things is possible: that Zoroark is hers and she’s trying to sneak off with the Herba Mystica OR someone kidnapped her and is trying to do that.” Tsuki said, his mind wandering over the possible options for if the latter happened to be the case. And if so, how would they find them before they did something dangerous with access to Herba Mystica samples?

About Raifort..." GRAY spoke up from their SNAGs. "I inquired with her student aid, Barbara, and she informs me the professor just showed up in her classroom. Dazed and confused according to Barbara but fine nonetheless. Her Zoroark however is missing but I suppose you found them." GRAY informed them. This bit of information just produced more questions than answers. Was Raifort ever here? If so when did she slip away? Why was her Zoroark here disguised as her? What was the point of all this in the first place? There were definitely some things they would need to ask Ms. Raifort but for now the teacher was safe and they had acquired the next Herba Mystica. Once they reported back to the academy they'd discover there is just one left.
"My suggestion would be to return to the academy for now. And Freth, I think Sub would like to hear what all went down here today." GRAY said. Time to return to the academy.

[Asado Desert: Hunt for the Last Herba]
Aile would detect an opening in the side of the rock wall of the Eye of Asado, where a cave entrance should be but their eyes said there was nothing there. As Reno teleported down he might turn his attention to where Aile said the opening was and were he to focus his own Psychic senses he would detect another psychic presence right there in that spot. If Reno or someone else figure out a way to dispel what was cloaking them, or even just attacked, they would reveal the source of the psychic presence.
"Arma..." Growled the Armarouge that was guarding the entrance, the Fire and Psychic chi that had cloaked the cave entrance flickering away. If Reno had to deduce what all that was somehow the Armarouge was utilizing its power over heat and fire combined with its psychic powers to create the mirage of just a rocky surface to hide the cave entrance. Looking to the state of its damaged armor, with many chinks in it and pieces missing, this Armarouge appeared old, very old, its species not one known to actually age. Who knows how long it had been standing guard and why. And how Barbara got passed it for that matter.
"ROUGE!" It shouted, revealing it was charging up energy as it brought its cannon up and fired off an Armor Cannon right at the group. It was going to defend this entrance no matter what.

Staring at the wall of the mesa, a strange sensation would catch in Reno's head as an interesting mix of energy drew his attention. "Hmm. Psychic energy....Alright, I got this one." Reno said, glancing over to his Alakazam and handing him a Psychic Gem that he had on his person. "Alright. Fling this at that wall over there." He coached Kaiden, sidling out of the way as the Alakazam wound up and baseball pitched a now-Dark chi infused Psychic Gem through the mirage and watching as the image began to fizzle but still remained as a strange heat haze. Scoffing at the annoying situation, he would grab out a coral water bottle with a few new stickers from a variety of shows on the exterior of it. Giving it a few shakes, he would uncap and throw the surprising amount of water towards the heat haze and fully dissolve it.
And staring towards the obviously irate Armarouge that was now staring them down, Reno would put his one arm up in a gesture of surrender. "Whoa whoa, hey there. We can talk this out. We just need to get on past since we think someone slipped past you." He attempted to explain to the Armarouge, only able to let out a yelp as he had to dive to the ground out of the way of the projectile.
Attempting to connect telepathically with the ancient Armarouge, he would telepathically shout "Hey! We want to come in peace but if you wanna be this ornery after somebody slipped past, If you wanna act like this, I can change the amicable attitude real quick!"

Just when Sol thought he was out, the forces that be kept pulling him back in. He'd meant to move away so he wouldn't be teleported, but an inopportune brush of his arm against Reno was enough of a physical link to teleport him out of the Academy for the second time today, and he'd found himself on the mesa apparently known as the Eye of Asado followed by unceremoniously tripping and falling for it. The change in scenery from the nurse's office to the Asado Desert practically jumpscared him as he got up and looked around to confirm where he was now. "¿por qué? Verdaderamente estoy maldito..."
A part of him would admit it was neat to finally lay eyes on the- he assumed- Eye of Asado though, especially with the added reaction from Reno over someone well beating him to the punch of making a pun out of a pun. "...beat you and I both..." After his remark, Reno and Aile had already teleported away again, likely to the ground below and prompting him to join them posthaste. A quick jump and a few flaps of his wings later saw him safely land on the sands near them, just in time for a glimpse at the gourd Reno was dumping water out of.
"Hola, I'm here to provide the second wing to the airline apparently- er. That the gourd you got from the port? Surprised you've kept it around," he remarked, lamenting how much he was going to be feeling the effects of today later. There wouldn't be much time to lament that when his senses tripped for a second and he saw the old Armarogue before them.
"An Armarogue? Not the most unusual thing in the desert-" He'd stop himself to dive away from the Armor Cannon shot, sand kicking up as he got back to his feet. "...surely Barbara would've seen this already?" He asked, curious if they beat her here thanks to Reno. He contemplated for a second, lamenting having a sudden teleport limit the Pokemon at his side yet again. He wouldn't make any sudden moves with Reno talking and extending an olive branch, instead slowly revealing his own empty hands.
"What he said, we're not here to fight unless we must," he added. He ceretainly wasn't going along with the idea because he was ill-equipped to fight an Armarogue at a time like this, not at all.

Aile frowned as Reno dissipated the heat mirage, showing a Pokémon that she once again wasn't familiar with. A sharp whistling sound would come out of Aile's mouth as she herself hit the deck, the whistle being a cue for Tatooine to climb. "All we're here for is to take a sprig of whatever herb might be here. And to kick the a** of anyone who might have gotten here before us. If anyone got here before us." She'd keep her hand of the ground, trying to see if there might have been any tremors coming from inside of the cave, though something wasn't adding up for her. This didn't seem like an abnormally big Pokémon like the other Titan Pokémon. Unless Armarouge was normally as small as, say, a Nincada. Something was telling her that wasn't the case, though. Which meant, probably... "...Guys? What if it's not just guarding the Herba?"

After its Armor Cannon missed the Armarouge would immediately go about charging up for another attack, adamant in dispatching of these trespassers. The Pokemon would only pause its attack when Reno spoke to its mind, the Armarouge's eyes locked with Reno's own as it instantly clocked who was speaking to him, the Psychic Pokemon clearly experienced. "Save your lies! I have stood guard for a millennia have trespassed upon The Eye under my watch!" The Pokemon spoke to Reno, resuming its charge up just for a second before Aile spoke, the Pokemon pausing again out of surprise as its eyes darted towards her. "The Herba Mystica..." It thought, Reno picking up said thoughts, noticing the Pokemon was now focused on Aile.
Ceasing its build up all together and dropping its arms the Pokemon would turn its body towards Aile's direction, stared at her for a second more, and then closed its eyes and focused its mind on her as, to Reno, it was clearly taking a mental dive into Aile. It was evident the mention of the Herba Mystica got its attention and at least convinced it to stop attacking for a moment and verify their intentions but there was something else that made it interested in Aile.
"It has been over a hundred years since one of you have shown. I expected you have forgotten your duty." The Armarouge spoke to Aile telepathically but no doubt Reno could tap into the transmission and hear himself. "You will find the inner chamber completely intact, the Herba Mystica safe, and our occupant secured. You may pass, Custodian. As well as the halfling warrior and your slave." The Armarouge said before stepping to the side to allow Aile to pass through.
What was this all about? Clearly it was mistaking Aile for someone, or something, else. It called her 'Custodian', did it mistake her for an individual tasked with maintaining this place, The Eye? And it confirmed there was indeed a Herba Mystica inside as well as a 'occupant', whatever or whoever that was. It was probably best not to ask it too many questions and risk having it figure out she was not who it thought she was and go back to attacking them. They could find out the answer to some of their questions for themselves.
Oh and, apparently it thinks Reno is her slave. Reno would pick up the reasoning from some of its stray thoughts, it figured that he had prosthetic limbs because his original limbs were lopped off as punishment. This Armarouge definitely had the mindset of a millennia ago.
They better get inside before the guard changes its mind.

Aile stood herself back up once the Armarouge stood down, growing a fair bit concerned(understandably) as the Pokémon mentally scanned her for… something. She wasn’t sure for what in particular. But whatever it had found, it was enough to get it to back off. And it called her ‘Custodian’. If she had thought about it, she could probably figure out who Armarouge was referring to with the halfling and slave, but they were all being granted access anyways, so it didn’t matter at the moment. Tati would land and wait for further orders from her trainer, who was looking at her comrades briefly before returning her gaze to the ancient Pokémon. “Ah, thank you. I will warn you, others are attempting to arrive as well, but they are not allied with us. I don’t know what their intentions are, but I do have a bad feeling about them. If someone arrives, let us know and we’ll come to help defend.”
With a nod to the cave entrance to the others, she and Tati would enter into the cave, wondering what to expect. It had mentioned an occupant as well as the Herba, so what else could be down here? What kind of creature could require securing and guarding by another Pokémon? And what would cause her to be called 'Custodian'?

Reno would stare with bewilderment at the absolute cascade of bizarre statements he was being thrown just by hanging out in the thing's mind. Halfling? Custodian? And what was that slave bit? Oh boy, he would be having words with that little psychic lighter if time wasn't a major concern right now. "Sure. Lets go see this....occupant." Reno muttered through gritted teeth, slowly following along behind Aile with his Alakazam following along quickly. "Had both of my arms right now, would slap the hell out of you. Don't care that you look like you saw the dinosaurs. still knock the dust off you."

While Aile added to what was already said, Sol kept his guard up and watched as Armarogue seemed to focus its gaze on Reno, then Aile. He wasn't aware of anything it was saying to either of them, but it wasn't difficult to guess telepathy was involved in some way. Regardless, it wasn't for his mind or ears to hear, and he wouldn't ease his stance until seeing it move aside, allowing the group entry into the cave.
Not knowing what to add to the potential warning, he'd quietly follow Aile and Reno inside, wondering what Armarogue had done and said. And hoping it wouldn't suddenly change its mind with Reno's quip. But another thing had his mind.
"...occupant? Someone's already here?" He asked. He doubted Barbara would already be here, unless she also had a way to teleport. But what he felt from that Armarogue was no joke, Barbara would've had her work cut out from her if she was.

The Armarouge ignored Reno's comment as the three of them passed through the cave entrance, the Psychic type remaining vigilante as they entered and was quick to step back in the entryway once they were inside and raised its mirage once again. It would say nothing more to Aile as it no doubt assumed she knew where she knew what to do here. Again any further questions would be strange to the guardian Pokemon.
As they walked into the cave it looked like a normal cave, completely black except for the light cast by Armarouge, the group needing a light source of their own to continue deeper into the cave.
After several minutes of walking in what was a typical cave the natural ground would give way to stone carved out of the Earth, clearly marking where the original cave had ended over a thousand years ago. Now walking on a completely flat surface the tunnel would become a completely square on, no other additions to come for several more minutes as metal sconces appeared along the walls of the tunnel, the Elemental Gems affixed to them flickering to life and casting yellowish light as they neared. Reno could sense the mechanism for them, the mix of chi very familiar as it was reminiscent to his Raichu's energy signature. These ancient people somehow used a mix of Elemental Gems to make motion sensor lights. Now with provided light the path would become a spiral staircase as they descended into the Earth, their destination unknown other than down.
Eventually they'd make it to the bottom of the staircase which was nothing but a small room, a simple landing with only one way forward through a single doorless opening. Walking through this doorway they would step into a giant dome shaped chamber, rings of Elemental Gem lights flickering to life to illuminate the entire chamber. Immediately they would note the long skinny walls made of some sort of shiny rainbow colored metal, not connected to anything, extending from just in front of the chamber's wall and stretching out to a giant dome of sand in the middle of the chamber. The dome of sand had a series of black angular spirals all over it, similar markings on the dome walls. The location of the Herba Mystica and the 'occupant' was not immediately apparent.
There was however a tremendous mix of energy coming from the apparently metal walls, as if someone had threw their entire spice cabinet into a bucket. This mix was apparent to all three of them, especially with the types they were attuned to. As for the dome they would all sense a tremendous energy coming from it, however anything more than that they could not discern, just that something was in there, the sand or something blocked out any identifying markers, and it was an immense amount of energy. Was a big bush of Herba in there?

As soon as the cave started to darken, a few flames would spark to life in Sol's left hand, allowing for a light source for the group to continue deeper. "Here, stick close." He was still curious about the comment about an occupant, but he figured he'd learn soon enough. Either from one of the other two, or from whatever existed in the cave.
He'd keep close to Aile and Reno as he walked along the ground of the cave, pausing for a moment when his talons found much smoother footing and looking down to see the flat surface beneath. A few more minutes had brought about metal sconces along the walls and a light starting to illuminate as the group went past. He'd let the flames in his hand die out once he was sure that they weren't needed any longer, though he couldn't help taking a few glances at the sconces and the elemental gems affixed to them. Whatever energy the gems had weren't one he was familiar with, but it was clear someone had been here once before. If not multiple people.
His curiosities wouldn't see an answer as he went down the spiral staircase, and to the room below. More elemental gems had flickered to life, but what became apparent was the rainbow-colored metal extending from the walls and the dome of sand, and then an immense amount of energy. Fire and Flying were among the strongest of them to him, but it served to assault his senses and he couldn't isolate much of it. This wasn't the only thing to bother the hybrid, though.
"Where have I seen this before? ...or felt this?" He asked himself aloud, his eyes back on the iridescent metals.
