Deidara escapes his prison when Zetsu disguised as a samurai helps in that. But, thanks to a stone ninja, Deidara wasn't able to get too far and was recaptured.

Episode 281 - Shippuden
Back at the leaf village, Konohamaru has been looking after the village with the other kids and the moms. Some sumo wrestlers tried to take over the village, but thanks to the moms and the kids, their plans were thwarted.

Episode 282 - Shippuden
The Raikage and Tsunade have come to stop Naruto and Bee from advancing, but Bee gives a bunch of flashbacks to the Raikage, giving him some reasons on why the two beast hosts should continue on.

After some more convincing, the Raikage finally let Naruto and Bee go realizing that it was impossible to stop them. Meanwhile, morning has broken and Masked Madara plans on using the dead beast hosts as his next weapons.

Tsunade finishes her flashback as she and the Raikage head back to headquarters. Meanwhile Naruto tells Bee that the promise was more important than the pendant he destroyed.

The cloud ninja are being chased by one of the ninja swordsmen, and this swordsman is actually a woman who uses lightning style. Thanks to Omoi, the lightning style user had sunk into a bottomless pit.

Episode 290 - Shippuden
A small village has been attacked by Kabuto and the reanimated before the allied shinobi forces had been formed. Two kids had to be rescued by their teacher and together along with three other kids went to a village called The Hole where Team Kakashi was sent to deal with Kabuto and his minions.

Episode 291 - Shippuden
Naruto saves the teacher from the abandoned village when the teacher nearly fell from a bridge then the teacher tells of a story how he couldn't save the woman he loved and felt bad for it. Then, that night, the teacher and the woman he failed to save but a tree did, looked upon the children sleeping on their mats and held hands. Perhaps their old love hasn't died yet.

Mina can detect evil presences and tries to get whatever has been bugging Naruto to come out. She was even able to tell that her town’s chief was an animated person. She eventually succeeds in helping Naruto, but the thing that was in Naruto had absorbed too much of the nine tails power and is running amok.

Episode 293 - Shippuden
Naruto and Dokku (the man who saved the children from the abandoned village) were captured by Kabuto and placed in a cave within the village called The Hole. The kids and those who cared about Dokku and Naruto who were on the mission for the Hole, are now in search of their missing friends each with their own plan.

Episode 294 - Shippuden
The kids give Kabuto the instruments to unleash the power to destroy the world in order to save their sensei dokku. Mina then hums the tune required to activate this terrible machine and does it twice! And what's worse is a huge monster has escaped from a huge beam of light.
