Resident Evil Apocalypse
If you haven't seen the first film then do not watch it because it won't make any sense, they show a hell of alot of flashbacks but you still won't know what the ******** is going on. Right in my opinion, MUCH better than the first film... with nonstop action and a much greater tie to the resident evil game serious this is a must for action and zombie fans 3nodding . not gonna ruin it or post any spoilers, but expect to see a resident evil 3 hitting you screens in the not too distant future surprised

The Booker Prize shortlist has been announced. And there's actually a book that I've read on it! eek Achmat Dangor - Bitter Fruit Sarah Hall - The Electric Michelangelo Alan Hollinghurst - The Line of Beauty David Mitchell - Cloud Atlas Colm Tóibín - The Master Gerard Woodward - I’ll go to Bed at Noon Cloud Atlas in a great read & I hope he gets some recognition this time since he was shortlisted for Number 9 Dream as well but didn't win in 2001. David Mitchell His nationality was no surprise. If there be any eyrie so desolate, or isle so remote that one may resort un-challenged by an Englishman, 'tis not down on any map I ever saw.

Memories - Katsuhiro Otomo (Director of Akira)
This is 3 semi-short to feature length productions, Magnetic Rose, Cannon Fodder and Stink Bomb.
I highly recommend this, but you have to be open to varying styles of artistry and themes. I don't want to spoil any of the story, and I suggest you don't read the box blog if you get it.
Well worth the £3 it cost to rent.

Super Size Me - Morgan Spurlock
A supposed Documentary on American obesity. Does border on Mockumentary at times, especially the main premise: If I eat nothing but Mcdonalds 3 times a day every day for a month, will it affect my health. But I think that helps, without jokes this is in equal parts hilarious & disturbing. But more importantly for the most part though provoking.
He does pick on the one company a bit too much for my tastes, but they are the most obvious target.
*warning: The surgery scenes are more disturbing than anything I've seen before in a 12 rated film, actually they rate as some of the most disturbing scenes I've seen full stop.
