Cody looked at her as she spoke but he thought it over as the car auto drove to the next city. He gently took her hand, "Would you like to talk about what happened?" He asked thinking it was better to have her talk about the event and how Wallace technically drugged and kidnapped her. He wanted her to be past this which he felt her talking about it rather then holding it in would help.

Cody looked at her when she spoke but he smiled as he thought it over, "Well you didnt get your seafood so i figured id know just the spot for you to pick whatever." He said as they came to an area that looked like its where rich people retired. They came up to a seaside building, small but well kept, which as he got out with her, she would see a sign that said, 'The Clam Pearl' a family restaurant. It almost seemed bland and boring but as they walked inside, Cody walked up to a the person who sat them to a table. She stopped for a moment, "Wait, Cody, is that you?" She asked as he smiled, "Hey Jessica, long time huh?" He asked as she smiled and put the menu's down, going to him and hugging him. She then saw Kaylee and gasped backing up, "Sorry, i didnt realize you were here with your girlfriend." She said brushing her apron straight as he laughed some, "Shes not my girlfriend unfortunately, just a friend. Kaylee, this is Jessica, my family used to have a time share here and visited a lot." He said happily as Jessica nodded. She found them a booth and gave them menus. She left to get their drinks after ordering them but he looked at her, "You cant get more old fashioned than this but i believe their food is just as good now." He said happily.

Cody nodded to her when she spoke as he then thought it over, "Sounds good, im gonna get something simple, just a burger to be honest." He said figuring he could try some of her seafood but after their order was taken he looked at her curiously, "And yes they do have too go bags." He reassured as he drank a bit of his soda, Mia crawling to the side of the table a bit as she looked around. She looked between the two, "Is everything okay?" She asked softly, wanting to break the silence a bit.

Cody looked at her when she spoke and felt a bit insulted as she said that as he sighed, "Why did you use the sex doll as an example of what not to make... i mean, ow, that hurts... is that what you think of me Kaylee?" He asked jokingly, making sure she could tell he was kidding about that but he shrugged, "Shes a prototype Kaylee, i could make a child like form for her to match her personality but then id have a creepy robot doll standing in the corner charging or updating. And with a fairy, that would require a wing or flight system which is expensive..." he stated softly to her as he took a sip of his drink, "A spider was practical and easy to fulfil in the sense of all the requirements." He stated softly.

He looked at her when she spoke but sighed, "Not all boys are alike, we all arent like..." he was about to say Wallace but stopped himself as he sighed, "Im just saying that i would like to keep Mia practical for now since im busy doing something more important." He stated softly as he rubbed his forhead as he could tell the waitress was a bit uneasy because she was fearful of spiders and was unsure about Mia which seeing this, Cody gently grabbed Mia and put her away, "Sorry about all this Jessica, we are ready to order." He said as they would place their orders as Cody looked at Kaylee, "So why the sudden interest in robotics tho?" He asked curiously since she seemed interested in Mia more.

Cody looked at her curiously as she spoke but shrugged, "Programmed at first, i took her base settings which are her voice and personality. Her voice was of a female child and she had a bubbly personality. So i programmed her with a fake history, my mother wanted a daughter but after having me, she was unable to, so the story is my long lost sister is Mia who now sees me as her older brother. Then the structure of the AI allows her to learn and advance to a degree, allowing her to grow as if she were a normal human brain. However, their are limitations due to the hardware, specifically, that memory works differently then emotions, since her emotions are based off 1s and 0s, she feels less and judges her emotions on experiences. So over time, she can learn that happy is provided to certain qualities while acting sad happens during others... she continues to add to her checklist of how to act accordingly." He explained and nodded, "You'll do fine and i can easily set up a VR room for you to go to college if you would like." He said as online college was a thing with virtual Reality allowing people to 'attend' without physically going.

Cody nodded to her when she and would begin to eat when their food wasbrought out. He continued eating but was thinking about what she said about Mia. He sighed as he would think about how she didnt want to go to the beach which made sense by her previous experience. He thought it over, "I know youve been through a lot but i can promise, that the rest of us guys are nicer." He said as he smiled, "I promise you will probably find a good guy who will be perfect for you." He said kindly to her.

Cody looked at her when she spoke but he nodded when she spoke, "Well, you know me, always happy to help how i can." He stated kindly as he thought it over, "So aside from finishing eating, is their anything else you would want to do? Anything you want picked up?" He asked kindly to her as he gently intertwined his metal fingers, resting his chin on his hands.
