Firewater was torn into and he fell back the wind and blood knocked right out of him. He flattened his ears and scrambled to get away from Sparrowflight. "Direstar help me!!"

Petalpaw let out a soft whimper like sound, his ears pinned to his head. He didn't want to fight right now. He was hurt but too anxious to go over to anyone for help, so he planned on sticking near where Timberfall was. He glanced over at Firewater. "Uh.. yeah. That was cool." He hasn't even seen it really.

Direstar looked back from his fight long enough to toss out a phrase. "Dont give up..... the battle is almost ours!" With that almost words of encouragement he was back locked in battle.

"Glad you thought so!" Winks to Petalpaw. Firewater had run off to fight again only to come back not long after. "Thank you Direstar, I can fight again!" He shouted back but beelined for Petalpaw and Timberfall. "Maybe I shouldn't try doing that alone again." Firewater panted looking over his wounds from battle. "Direstar gave me the strength to keep fighting, let us attack someone together!" Firewater said eagerly to Timberfall and Petalpaw. "Together we will be unstoppable!"
Hollowstep's ears perked up curiously at the notion of herbs existing in StarClan. However, at the notion that they were different, he realized it would take him too long to seek them out and learn what they did.
Sure enough, chaos descended upon them. Hostile enemies began to stream into the group and Hollowstep whipped around towards the kits and queens. Surging through the battle towards them, he was grateful to see that they were away from a fair bit of the fray. Still, once he got to the group, he planted himself in front of them and stared defiantly at the enemies. He would not see any little ones taken before their time.
Pineripple's relief at seeing that Silverstreak looking better was short-lived. The golden field erupted into a battle. Her ears pinned, she shrunk back as Bouldertuft told her to stay behind him, but soon she lost even him in the chaos.
Her tail bushed out in fear and her eyes wide, she tried to look for a familiar face in all of the panic and bloodshed. She tried to wrangle her fear; she was a warrior-she was going to be leader one day-she had to be brave!
But her courage didn't come and instead she felt the strong need to be a kit in the nursery, with her mother. Wait, where was Needlewhisker? She hadn't even thought to look, too caught up with herself, but what if her mother was out there in the battle and needed her?
"Needlewhisker?" Pineripple yowled over the clamor. She hated that her voice trembled and stumbled forward. "Needlewhisker, where are you?"
Anderleit
Pineripple finally thought to look for her mother, at perhaps the most inconvenient time.
Softfeather had been so relieved to hear Greyleaf's cry, but she had another leaf to look out for at that moment. She was bending her head, going to touch her nose to Goldenleaf's forehead. She wanted to reassure Goldenleaf that maybe there was someone among those cats that could look out for her kits, at least until they were reunited. However, she never got the chance.
The silent tension in the air turned to an explosion of rage and she was shoved back by bodies that she did and didn't recognize. Struggling to keep her bearings, she let out a snarl of rage and slid out her claws. This would not stand! She would fight and she would win against these audacious ForestClan cats!
Leopardthroat was encouraged by the idea of organizing against ForestClan, but he didn't get time to hear the plans of how to go about such, before ForestClan attacked first! Wasting no time, he plunged into the flurry, claws out and spitting towards any enemy he could sink his claws into!
Badgerclaw had heard Greyleaf's call and raised his head, trying to see his soft-furred mate above the rest.
"Greyleaf?" He called back. "I'm here, my moonlit flower, I'm-" The field seemed to shake and he stumbled to the ground. When he raised his head again, every cat seemed to be locked into battle. He swallowed hard, hoped that Greyleaf was somewhere safe and then moved forward to fight against the intruders. He was going to protect their future with everything he had.
Timberfall glanced to his apprentice a moment. "Petalpaw... Find brightstar.... I dont care if she is starclan aligned, she will make sure you are safe." He snarled though and then glancing to Firewater on his way back to the battle. He flicked his tail letting the other tom know he was going and he fought his way through the battlefield. It wasnt long, and honestly he was fighting mostly nonclan cats, but then he saw the starclan 'camp' While he didnt want to his mind wandered, were there more starclan cats in there? He took a step forward and halted. Could he fight his clanmates? He heard Direstar yelling for a rally. He saw a forestclan cat race by, Straight toward their camp, where the kits were. He bristled, belief difference or not no one messed with kits. He rushed in to see that wasnt the only forestclan cat, There were two working together to try and get past the army of queens that were with the kits. And there he saw Hollowstep, a medicine cat, trying to protect them.
His feet carried him and he looked a moment like he was going to join the cats, but then he whipped around and shoulder to shoulder with the medicine cat he faced the two forestclan toms. He nodded only once to Hollowstep and then faced the two stronger cats. (D1)
Timberfall: 38 Forestcats: 60
The two forestcats were shocked as timberfall turned on them and they let out slurs. Traitor, Coward and went back onto their mission to attack the starclan cats. (D2) Shared between Hollowstep and Timberfall

Forestclanners coming your way
Against Softfeather and Leopardthroat came another forestclan cat with anger in their eyes and bloodsmeared on their glowing pelt. They attacked with a violent force. (D3) damage shared between Leopardthroat and softfeather.
Lostkit looked after the orange and fluffy she-cat as she walked away, talking about fighting. She didn't want to fight, but she didn't want the she-cat to leave without her either...! She'd begun to toddle forward, when the battle broke out, bringing her up short and the ginger she-cat disappeared from view.
Lostkit looked on in horror as cats came together and fought, fur and blood flying. She looked around, trying to find the warm she-cat that had comforted her, tried to see her mother or her father... anyone! Seeing nothing, but violence around her, Lostkit flattened herself to the ground and wailed.
"Goldenleaf! Goldenleaf!" She cried for her mother.
ChaosTheories
Amidst the battle, a lost kit.
Stonebelly was relieved to see his son and lapped at the yellow fur. He was still listening to Honeystar and Direstar. When they spoke about battle, he nudged Waspkit towards another grouping of kits. Surely someone would stay behind to protect them here. There had to be elders or queens willing to do as much, right?
"Stay with these youngsters, they'll need you to protect them. I'm going on ahead to join the others." He told Waspkit firmly. "I'll be back to see you soon." He told his kit, giving him a lick across one ear, before turning and plunging into the battle.
ChaosTheories
Stonebelly over here being a dad for one of his kits, at least. xD
Darktail wasted no time in following the surge of cats plunging into the battle, claws and fangs out and ready to tear anyone's fur off, regardless of allegiance. He was ready to fight a real fight for a change!

There was nothing that could tear Direstar away from trying to beat Shatteredstar. Nothing that was until there was the sound of a kit screaming in the battlefield. His head swung to the sound as he was smacked down by Shatteredstar for loosing focus for a moment. Direstar hissed at Shatterstar and tore away from their battle. He was so close to beating her least that's what he told himself, but something more pressing was in need of his attention. He sprinted through the battle till he reached Lostkit and curled his tail around her. "Little one this is no place for you....what does Goldenleaf look like?" He asked scooping her up and quickly looking for a safe place to get this kit before someone tried to attack him.
Hollowstep was determined not to let anyone close to the kits, so much so that he almost attacked Timberfall once he drew near, only to stop short at the nod. With a grim expression, Hollowstep nodded his reply. Alright, at the very least, he knew that Timberfall was an ally.
Turning to face the other tomcats, he bushed out his pelt. "You will not hurt these kits!" He intoned. "Leave now, if you are as honorable as you think."
Hollowstep: 3
Softfeather turned to see Leopardthroat near her and called to him. He turned towards her with a grin and then darted to her side. It was then that a ForestClan cat attacked the two. Softfeather swiped towards their eyes.
Softfeather: 18
Leopardthroat came to Softfeather's aid, elated that someone (even if it wasn't Brightstar) was asking for his help. When they were approached by an enemy and Softfeather swiped up towards their eyes, Leopardthroat went for their legs with a fiercesome snarl.
Timberfall's face was grim and he launched another attack, no one would touch those kits. (d1)
The forestcats just gave devilish looks and Launched their own attack. (d2)
The forest cat against softfeather and leopardthroat, was a little in over their head but they pressed on.(d3) Forest cat: 10

ForestClan
Lostkit continued to wail and whimper, occasionally pausing in between to hide her nose in her paws. She wanted to be home, in the LightningClan Nursery, among Goldenleaf and the other queens! She wanted to see her family and the other kits... she didn't want to be here!
She was poking her muzzle out of her paws to cry out for her mother again, when a tail wrapped around her. Looking up with wide, frightened eyes, she saw not her mother, but a cream and orange tomcat. She pressed close to him.
"Sh-She's yellow and she's got stripes like me. She's got green eyes too, and...and a white paw." Lostkit mewed, her voice high with panic. "Do you know where she is? Where is she? I'll be so good when I see her! I'll be just as good as Waspkit, I promise!"
Wildstripe waited for the final strike. Would it hurt? More than he already did, he supposed? He had done his best; it just wasn't good enough--
He didn't expect the gentle sensation at his shoulder. He tensed for a moment, heart hammering with fear and anticipation previously, now confused. After a moment, he seemed to relax, but he was still puzzled. He had expected to be finished off; instead Cindergaze was cleansing his wounds? His ears remained laid back against his skull, but he heard her apology clearly. Somehow, even amid the sounds of battle, he felt himself calming.
Was she...purring?
He blinked his eyes open in time for her to pull away and turn to go. He mulled over her words. He could also not ignore his own calling, nor his kin. But...weren't those his kin on the other side of this battle as well? He slowly rose to his feet, still tired, but not hurting as he had been before his wounds were cleaned.
He no longer felt the fiery urge to launch himself into battle to prove himself. Was that doubt? Or introspection? He didn't want to attack any other clanmates, even if they were supporting Starclan. He also didn't want to lose any kin supporting Forestclan. So many losses already...
He made up his mind to pull back, rejoin the main Forestclan force and focus his efforts on protecting his comrades. He would not seek out battles to harm, but he would protect to the best of his abilities.
All his plans flew out the window upon hearing a tiny squeaking voice calling out over the din of battle. Was that a kit?!?
Weariness forgotten, Wildstripe's paws carried him swiftly across the battlefield towards the crying kit. He arrived just in time to see a small tom -- Direstar! -- scooping her up protectively. Late to the scene, but perhaps he could still help. Direstar was needed elsewhere, but this much Wildstripe could do.
"Direstar!" he called out, stopping short at the leader's side. "I can take her to safety!" Glancing down at the kit, he added quietly, "This is no place for little ones."

Direstar almost seemed shocked as the kit pressed close to him, he almost wanted to purr but this was not the time of place for such things so he smoothed it over with a grumpy face. "Hmm..." Direstar looked up and tried to spot a cat matching the kits description. It was then he got a full lay of what was going on in the battle. "I'm not seeing a cat that fits that description.... " Direstar spoke but there was so much going on the parent of this kit could be close and he may well be missing the sight of them. He pinned his ears when Wildstripe made a movement for him and put the kit down and put his paws around her protectively. It took him till Wildstripe was closer to realize he was on the same side. Even still his face seemed to give a momentary flash of hesitation. "Alright....find her parent or get her to safety, do not fail me, do not fail her." Direstar nodded and moved to pass the kit to Wildstripe. "Be safe little one." Direstar snuck in a comforting nuzzle to Lostkit's head before passing her to Wildstripe. Hopefully no one saw that, just between him and Lostkit....maybe Wildstripe. He sighed and ran back into the fight cutting Shatteredstar off from helping any of her warriors and back into exchanging hit after hit on each other.
Despite being a medicine cat, death had always been somewhat of an abstract concept to Hollowstep. He had witnessed other cats dire before: elders who couldn't make it through leafbare, warriors slain in petty territory disputes, a leader that ran out of lives. He had seen kits barely old enough to stand up, walk into StarClan. He had crouched over the body of too many apprentices taken before they could see their dreams of getting their warrior names recognized.
He understood the pain that came with death, but he only ever saw death from an outside perspective, even though he came so close to it and even saved a few from it.
Today, that changed. He had been in pain before, he had the scar along his stomach to show that he had done much suffering before, but nothing could account quite for the sensation that now sliced into him. He had been moving to intercept one of the cats as they surged forward towards the kits, with their wicked sneers and hard eyes. He had raised his paws, paws meant to heal and not to fight, to defend those he protected. Instead, he presented an easy opening to his chest. White fur turned red as he spluttered and lurched forward. Another blow shoved him to the ground.
He could only lay there, gasping for air. If he was in StarClan now, where would he go when he died? He was, dying, wasn't he? His paws started to feel numb and the numbness was quickly spreading over him. His eyes stared at the fighting that carried on without him. He closed his eyes and breathed a final breath.
StarClan, I know you must be busy, but... Please, let Timberfall defeat these monsters and let our kits and apprentices survive this war. They deserve so much more than this. Hollowstep prayed and died.
Hollowstep: 0
Softfeather sliced her claws across her enemy, her lips pulled back as she yowled at them. Her voice joined the cacophony of the war that was being presented, but she would not rest until the battle was over. She was grateful for Leopardthroat's assistance. She hoped that after they won this battle, because they had to win this battle, they could share tongues after the long fight.
Softfeather: 17 (?)
Leopardthroat fought side by side with Softfeather, going low when she went high and vice versa. He remembered training with her when they were apprentices, practicing battle moves. He didn't think he'd ever come across this situation, but he was happy that she had his back and he hoped that he was happy that he had hers.
