Koutetsu blinked as his clone was impaled, then paled slightly as the blade pushed through the clone to come towards him. Fast! I've got to slow it down, he thought quickly running through handsigns as he jumped backwards, "Uo Tsuba!" Five streams of water were shot from his mouth. Four headed directly for the blade, and the fifth arching over it to splash down harmlessly near Chie-sensei.
Landing on his feet, he dove straight towards the ground. Colliding with the floor, he seemed to melt into it. Koutetsu knew the blade would probably slice through his water technique like it was nothing. That blade beat out my clone, its elemental weakness. I doubt that Suiton would slow it down. I don't think I have much jutsu wise to destroy it. Sensei did say the test was supposed to be done with more than one person. So I need someone stronger to stop it.
Koutetsu made his way over to where Chie-sensei was, and the strange boisterous man who had encouraged him. Koutetsu rose up from the ground beside the large man, keeping him in front of the blade. He flowed through a few hand seals, "Mizu Kagami no Jutsu." A small mirror of water seemed to form from the remains of the earlier suiton, angled so that Koutetsu could see the blade of water and his sensei at the same time. "For a moment I thought that thing was going to kill me, Sensei."

Koutetsu seemed to be a competent, if not predictable, shinobi. At the very least the kid knew when to not press his luck. Karuto ran his fingers through his beard, pondering the tactical outcome of the battle. Chie was much faster than him, so he should have recognized that getting in close was not going to work. No, he would either have to be super fast or super sneak- 'Where did that mirror come from?' A pool of water suddenly sprang up from the ground and formed an angled mirror next to him while he was deep in his thoughts! He craned his neck and looked behind him, just in time to see Koutetsu calling out to Chie and...WAIT! Was he hiding behind him?!
His head whipped back around to see a water sword flying towards him, point first, with impressively high speeds. Karuto's mouth dropped open as he shifted his gaze between the genin hiding behind him and the sword flying towards him "W-wait I'm not a part of this!" He managed to call out. This, however, didn't change the situation at all! At the last moment, Karuto's Kaiser Armor flared to life and the Raiken extended his arm. The sword made contact with his open palm and shattered into a thousand harmless droplets of water. Still cloaked in his garb of lightning, Karuto wheeled around and grabbed the male hiding behind him- one hand on the collar, one hand on the belt "Alright kid, so how about we not do that again?" He yelled out as he threw Koutetsu at Chie. Whatever she did to him, he deserved it for forcing Karuto to participate in this test! Clever, yet rude all the same

Misaki looked up at her and then at the huge half naked guy then a little guy flying all a sudden an was thoroughly confused at what just happened. Misaki laid there on the ground focusing his chakra threw out his entire body building it up slowly so he could break free from the restrains that were holding him down. As he focused he chakra he finally broke free and stood up and looked as the kid was going through the air pretty quickly looks like the other guy is going to get a mouth full soon.

Chie's eyes widened as her sword moved to strike Karuto. That was not part of the plan. As Karuto deflected the attack, Chie realized what Koutetsu did as his million dollar strategy. He knew that he couldn't bypass the sword, so he recruited someone who could. This unorthodox strategy was something the young woman had never thought of. Apparently, Koutetsu did not think out the consequences of his actions as he was then thrown at maximum speed toward Chie. Naturally Chie bent her knees and braced herself for the throw. Chakra was applied to her feet which caused her to better grip the ground. The two combined caused Chie to catch the flying boy as she glided along the ground nearly ten feet. In the end her muscles were incredible sore, but she did manage to catch and keep the student safe.
"Let's not do that again." She said as she stood Koutetsu up. She then made sure to be at eye level with her student. "That was by far..." Her voice became like a growl. She was hyping herself to be ready to insult him. "The smartest strategy you could have come up with." Her voice flipped as though it was a coin. She then broke into laughter as her right hand went to the boy's corresponding shoulder. "Wow that was out of the box. And it shows that you understand the core concept of a shinobi." She smiled widely. "The core concept is to not do anything needlessly dumb. There's no need to try and tackle something impossible by yourself when you have fellow village ninja. This is what separates us from the rogues. We can rely on each other and our community. No village ninja is ever alone, and that is what you showed with your wit." Chie withdrew her hand and held it to the window of the academy. An incantation circle formed by her palm as a gust of wind flew from within the academy window. From this breeze came the headband that adorned the Uzushiogakure symbol. "With this headband, I deem you an official shinobi of Uzushiogakure." Chie said as she held out the headband toward Koutetsu. It was now time for him to take it and become part of the village.
Meanwhile, Chie's clone looked back at Misaki. "Now that's how you prove yourself a village ninja." She said with sheer admiration in her voice.

Koutetsu was surprised that his plan worked and far better than he had even intended. He stopped it with his bare hand. That's amazing! he thought before he was suddenly grabbed and hurled. "Wha?" he managed to utter as he was sent flying. Suddenly his flight came to a stop as he was caught by Chie-sensei. "Yes," he agreed breathlessly, glancing between Chie and Karuto, "yes, I will not do that again."
Looking up slightly at Chie, Koutetsu swallowed nervously under her hard stare. Deflating slightly in relief as she complemented him on his actions, Koutetsu inwardly mused, Well that was unexpected. Nodding to let her know he understood. Koutetsu smiled at her as she handed him the headband. taking it from her hands, he looked at the maelstrom engraved on it, I'm a ninja.
Stepping back, he spoke to Chie-sensei, "Thank you, Sensei." Turning towards the muscular shinobi who had thrown him, Koutetsu admitted, "I thank you for your assistance and I apologize for not properly requesting it." After bowing respectfully, he looked at the headband in his hands. Turning it over, he centered the symbol on his forehead and then secured the the cloth to his head with a knot.

Did that work?! How?! How did that work?! Whatever. End result was that the boy passed his test- even if he had used an outside aid in order to do so. Still, Karuto was not done with this kid by a long shot. He may have passed Chie's test, but that girl was a sweetheart compared to him. While she may have the authority to promote him to genin, she couldn't stop him from taking the boy on as his student for a period of time. When Koutetsu approached him and apologized for his success, Karuto 'bopped' the kid on top of his head when he rose from his bow "Don't bow to me kid, I work for a living" With that, he crossed his arms over his chest and inhaled deeply before exhaling just the same "Get your sh*t and meet me at the gates in 10 minutes. We're going on a field trip" A sly grin crossed the Raiken's face.

misaki was standing there laughing to him self inside not letting it out,after she cought the kid after she did that she said something to misaki and it was rather stupid to him all the kid did was use a other person a body shield to win,"ppfft that was stupid all he did was use someone as a human shield what if that person wasn't strong enough to stop that blade it was just by quintessence that he was there and was a powerful guy,if the guy was weak he could have died.a comrade should never have to resort to using another to achieved is goal fast it straight on instead with your own power."After Misaki said that he left the academy exiting out the doors.

Class Disciplines
First Class: Bukijutsu ____Juggernaut: β The user suffers no drawbacks of any kind when wearing very light and light armor at D-Rank, medium armor at C-Rank, heavy armor at B-Rank, and all other armors at A-Rank. They receive one free custom weapon or armor upon creation and gain a moderate boost to strength and fortitude. Additionally, they start with the following four techniques, rather than the six most ninja do: Bushi Ken no Jutsu [ Samurai Sabre Technique ], Shunshin no Jutsu [ Body Flicker Technique ], Kai [ Release ], and Kawarimi no Jutsu [ Substitution Technique ]. ____Mystic Hero(Mimic via Balanced Master): β You are much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into your personal arsenal. Through your great devotion to this path you can cast ninjutsu can cast ninjutsu up to your body rank without hand seals while wielding a weapon. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use and require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. They also cannot be molded during another attack, meaning you cannot be swinging a sword and using this discipline to charge a ninjutsu at the same time. Mariko turned to face the Academy doors after saying goodbye to her brother, Taro. If he had faith in her, that she could become a great Kunoichi... then at the very least she'd give it her best shot. Unfortunately she didn't know one thing about what being a ninja was all about, and being enrolled so late would likely put her far behind the rest of her classmates. She knew how to cook, sew, and use specific farming tools... but, did ninja do any of those sorts of things? Sighing softly, the young girl entered the academy, timidly fiddling with her fingers as she looked around. Undoubtedly looking lost, yet too afraid to ask anyone for some sort of direction as where class was being held. Despite spotting what looked like a couple of classes in session, Mariko was way too nervous to interrupt, let alone approach them.
Sumiko entered the building, almost being knocked over by the over zealous Koutetsu that was sprinting full speed out of the building. It seemed that after all this time he had escaped detention and finally graduated. Sumiko smiled as he ran off into the distance, but didn't stick around too long.
She instead made her way through the halls of the Academy, looking for a certain someone. Sumiko knew where this certain person would be, as they almost certainly lived at the Academy it seemed. Finally, the young Uzumaki arrived outside the door to the classroom, sliding it open just enough to peer inside. She didn't want to incur this persons wrath by interrupting class after all. Certain that there wasn't a critical lesson being taught, Sumiko slide the door the rest of the way open, skipping lightly into the classroom. "Chie-sensei! I need something to do!"

Chie's clone near the Misaki poofed when he left rudely. She wanted the information of the genin to return to the true her so that, when she saw him again, that she could give him a good smack on the head. Meanwhile, the Chie clone near the academy watched as a small girl seemed lost in regards for what to do. Chie followed closely behind the girl as she entered the academy to see what she was going to do. It was important for her to see children try and problem solve. As she moved along, however, a familiar girl called out her name.
"Perfect timing, Sumiko." She said as she moved back over to her former student. She then raised her hand and pointed at the child. "Do you see that girl over there?" She asked rhetorically. "That girl is a new student. I would bet my bottom dollar on it." She said as she lowered her hand. She then placed both hands on her hips. "I could teach her no problem, but you're looking for something to do." She smirked. "So, how about it? Teach the girl some jutsu, try to get her to the same point that I got you to, and then I'll give her a genin exam. If you scratch my back through this, then I'm sure it'll help you find some purpose to do." She said confidently. Teaching was one of Chie's prime passions, and seeing children interact with each other would be highly fulfilling.

The limitations of this are as such. First of all, the technique works passively only up to one rank below Chie's current Korabo level. This means that if Chie's Korabo level is A-ranked then it can only be used at a B-ranked potential, which means that Chie can only Korabo two B-ranked techniques to use the korabo skill at A-ranked. This assures that this benefit does not allow the user to passively perform techniques one rank higher than they can usually. Second of all, this technique only applies when Chie korabo's with herself. If she korabos with an ally or a clone then this benefit is non-applicable. Finally, an additional charge of 10 chakra per rank of the final product technique is required to be paid. So if the user Korabo two B-ranked techniques, (the user must also pay for each individual skill), then the final technique would be an A-ranked skill, and thus would cost 50 more chakra to perform this way. A few minutes passed by, and poor Mariko was still standing in the middle of the hall fidgeting with her fingers. Entering one of the classrooms by herself was definitely not an option here. It'd be incredibly awkward to walk into a middle of a session - worst of all, having everybody's attention the moment you walked in. That was much scarier for her than standing in the middle of the hallway, clueless. All of those eyes. Following you as you hurry to find a seat. Only to realize the remaining seat is in the back of the class... Mariko shuddered at the thought.
Still, action was required. Eventually she would grow even more anxious just standing here. How stupid she'd look, if anyone were watching. Glancing around, Mariko hoped to find another student walking into one of the classrooms. Perhaps she could slip behind them and get to a seat before anyone noticed her. Yet there was no one. Only one thing to do now: Go back home and make sure she got here bright and early tomorrow. That way she wouldn't have to face this kind of struggle. Ever again.
Mariko turned around, only to see two women standing in front of the Academy entrance/exit, and before she could take a single step, she suddenly stopped dead in her tracks. There was no way she could just walk around them and leave, they'd ask questions surely. The female with the pink hair looked like she could be a teacher of sorts. Maybe if she just went up to the woman and asked -- w-why is she pointing at me? Mariko's heart stopped for a few beats, fearing she was going to get into trouble. Did she already know she was late? Had she missed class? Was she being sent to detention!? The last thing she wanted was to be labeled as a bad student on her first day. Looking like a mouse cornered by a hungry cat, she timidly approached the two with her head low, hiding the tears welling up in her eyes. "I'msosorryforbeinglate,pleaseforgiveme! I'mnotabadstudent,Ipromise."Voice soft and full of nervousness, she was unable to control the words spewing out of her mouth. Shortly after she fell absolutely silent, bowing to the two of them individually, and then letting her head fall once more, as to avoid eye contact.
I'm in no rush to become a Genin, Mariko has some growing to do before she's ready. And i'd love for her to meet some of her classmates! I'll let you set the pace, as far as how quickly/slowly you'd like the process to go.

Sumiko paused, a slightly confused look on her face for a moment. How was she supposed to teach anyone something when she barely knew anything herself. She supposed that the basic techniques were all she had to teach but she had also never attempted to explain them to someone else. "Tattekuso. Fine," Sumiko sighed. "I better get a real mission after all of these. I can only walk someone's dog and help old ladies across the street so many times before it gets boring."
Sumiko straightened her headband and turned towards the young girl. She was walking towards them, head hung low like she was afraid they were going to put her in detention or something. Well, Chie might have done it for the learning experience, so it was probably a legitimate fear. Sumiko's suspicions of the girl's fears were only confirmed when the she began to speak, her voice low and quivering. It looked like tears were going to start to stream down her cheeks. My first student and she's about to start balling her eyes out. Chie is totally going to owe me for this. Sumiko shot a sideways glance at Chie, the corner of her mouth in slight grin.
Sumiko reached out and placed her hand on the girl's shoulder. Her grip was firm, but not to the point it would hurt. Sumiko then looked the girl right in the face, putting on the biggest smile she possibly could, at the risk of looking completely outlandish. "Chin up kiddo. You don't have anything to worry about here. Not with me around." Sumiko used her free hand to motion to herself as she continued to smile. "If you didn't know, I'm the top Genin around these parts. Name's Sumiko Uzumaki." Now this of course was a bold faced lie. Sumiko thought back to her own ill-fated adventures in the Academy and the whirlwind of destruction known as Sumika, who might as well have been a primal force of nature. But the girl didn't need to know that, and Sumiko doubted that the young student would know Sumika. "Now that you know my name, I think you should probably tell me your's."

During that brief moment of silence, Mariko's nervousness continued to rise. She was expecting the worst already; one, if not both of the women to be scolding her for not attending class, and possibly sending her to detention as punishment. Apologizing wasn't going to be enough. They'd probably kick her out if they really wanted to. Poor Mariko would have to go home and tell the news of her failure on the first day. Sure, it more than likely wouldn't upset her mother... but if she ever got to see Taro again, what would he think? The promise she made to him would be broken. Tears welled in her eyes as negative thought after negative thought continued to flood her mind. She didn't dare let them fall. That alone was taking so much out of her that she was starting to tremble.
Suddenly, there was a hand that gently grasped her shoulder. Or at least, it should have been. Mariko flinched so violently that it would be difficult to tell whether or not the woman intentionally hit her for anyone else that might be looking. The tears forming in her eyes splattered to the ground, and Mariko gathered herself as much as she could -- face reddened from both embarrassment and being startled half to death. She looked up to see the red-haired woman beaming a grand smile. One that actually made Mariko a bit uncomfortable, yet oddly, reassuring at the same time. Absently her hand wiped across her eyes to rid any signs of her crying, though by now it would be quite obvious that is what she was doing.
Mariko had no idea what a 'Genin' was, but being number one gave the poor girl a little more reassurance that she'd be safe in the woman's company. The woman introduced herself as Sumiko Uzumaki. "M-m... My name is Mariko... Mariko T-Tanaka." She broke eye contact to gaze at the pink-haired woman, then quickly back to the ground. If Sumiko was the top Genin, who was this woman? She certainly had the look of someone who'd be capable of dishing out horrible, soul-shattering punishment. "U-um... am I... in t-trouble?"She squeaked, slightly shrinking in her stature, but keeping her gaze on Sumiko, albeit mostly at her feet in the moment.
