Not only was Van Dam able to escape Hero's clutches, but he was able to swiftly connect with a superkick! That's how amazing Van Dam really is! Chris would fall back, rolling away, holding his aching jaw.

Rob Van Dam fell backwards and is down on the mat after hitting the desperation counter, and is down laying on his back, the crowd applauding the effort of the two.

However, after a long rest, Chris was able to recover faster than his competitors who had been active through out the match. Hero would crawl towards the ropes, now setting his sights on the Heartbreak Kid.

Hero would approach him. Chris saw that HBK was outside. Chris Hero would get out and attempted a Yakuza Kick on HBK!

All of a sudden, Hero was lifted up by the Sexy Boy, Shawn 'The Heartbreak Kid' 'The Showstopper' 'Mr. Wrestlemania' 'The Rocker' 'Mr. Hung' Michaels! Chris would try to elbow Michaels off of him.

Shawn Michaels would roll off of Chris Hero after eliminating him for his third elimination in this match. It was now just him and RVD still in this Elimination Match and one of these two men would be walking out the NEW CWF World Heavyweight Champion!

Rob Van Dam would still be in the ring, sitting in a corner, but uses it to propel himself to his feet, as he holds on to it.
