Unvanquished "It's been a while, but I'm back. I've been so busy working, I almost had to wait until the holidays to return. That is-- not that I haven't been training..." *Smiles* "I should hope not. After the last fight we had, I would hate to think that you had...gotten soft, heh."

Unvanquished, not allowing himself to be surprised, immediately formed six lightswords. It was clear that he had been practicing channeling lunar energy faster, and, although he could not yet produce all his lightswords so quickly, he was able to summon the six almost instantly.
Moving all his lightswords to recieve whatever attack came quickly, he placed grabbed the handle of his sword, ready to draw...

Remains still as a statue, reviewing the Crescent Phase lessons in his mind. Slowly, he moves into a low stance, similar to the batto-jitsu stance with the sword remaining in the sheath.
'Strike...'
In an instant, Xaiamut unsheaths his blade, calling forth the swords of light around himself and attacks with an energized blade of light. Holding his sword leveled in the air, he concentrates on the next technique.
'Shield...'
Whirling back, the swords return again, covering him in a barrier of lightswords as he holds his sword in a defensive stance.
'Mirror Force...'
Spiraling his sword around, the lightswords blink slightly, not looking different to anyone save the wielder.
'Seal...'
Focusing his mind on a nearby boulder, Xaiamut slashes out again, sending the lightswords toward the boulder and surrounding it a cage-like form.
'Crescent Moon Shadow...'
Creating another set of lightsword, she slashes out, sending the second pair toward the sealed boulder, blasting not the boulder, but the ground around it, sending it into the air and plummeting down toward him.
'Finally...Zero Divide...'
Pulling his blade back, the lightswords come into form once again. The boulder came within a mere inches upon him when it is completely destroyed in a flash. As the dust falls upon him, he shifts back to his previous position and becomes still once again.
'My timing hasn't sped up. But my control has. I guess that's an improvement. But there has to be more. Focus...'

The smile quickly fades however as he wonders how he should approach such a man.

((OOC: Sorry I've been gone for so long. I hd a bit of trouble logging in))
Being still for a moment, Xaiamut soon turns to the two standing at the cave entrance. One of them was kneeling down on the floor, requesting to be taught while the other seem uncertain as to his presense. Pulling his wings back, he adddressed them
"Welcome. I am Xaiamut, and this is the Cave of the Luna where those who wish to train in the Lunar Arts may do so." Focusing on Shuici. "If you wish to tain here, you may. But know that you will have to start at the beginning and that may or may not be difficult, depending entirely on you."
Turning at Stashdragon... "You may train here to if you wish. Or you may observe." Grins lightly. Or even challenge. It's up to you."
Looking at both of them, he then asks the final question.
"What are your choices?"

*Melody looks in from the mouth of the cave, changed from what she used to be when she started her training. Her hair was not long, but short, and silver. It was kind of messy. She sported red-brown hippie pants and a very short black tank top, which seemed kind of ragged. The red flip-flops didn't cause her to trip up on any loose stones, but she would have some evasion problems if she fought. An empty gun belt was used as a belt for her pants. Looking down inside, she spotted Xaiamut, waved, and slid down.* Hi Xaiamut-sama! ^_^ Sorry I haven't been coming by like I should.

"Welcome back Melody. Hm, this is perfect." *Looking to Shuici, he introduces Melody* "Shuici, this Melody. She's a Gibbons level in the Lunar Arts and soon to partake in the Trial of Night and Light for mastery. Now, as for you, I'll give you your first lesson. Succeed in this and you can start your true training, okay."
Lesson Zero - Harnessing the Luna
The first lesson for those of Crescent is the formation of the Lunar Aura. This is the central technique of the Lunar Arts and thus vital. Stand in the middle of the cave and allow the light to shine down on you. Once done, focus on the light itself, on the warmth of its energy. It's a little tricky as moonlight is only a reflection of real light, but probably easier as well. When you have a grasp, focus it onto your blade and rotate it slowly. It will take it some time to form, but eventually you should be able to create a glowing afterimage of the blade.
Assignment: Create at least four lightswords
*To Melody* "It truly has been awhile. How have you been?"
