Hearing somebody speak in his native language was startling to say the least, and Tommy turned back to Luka, eyes blinking wide, stunned into silence for at least half a second before he responded with a large smile and an enthusiastic nod of his head. "Si, Sono italiano!"

And, it seemed, he had guessed what the topic on the whiteboard was, correctly.

"I..." He hesitated, switching back to English as it was important to him that he try to be able to communicate with everyone. "Would like, superpower, to speak all language."

Because if he could, then he wouldn't be in this situation.

"As long as you're ok." Seren nodded, because really that was what mattered here. Her eyes lit up at his suggestion. "Yes! That would be super cool, if you got to control how much of you were intangible. It'd be even better if whatever you held was also able to go with you..." She looked thoughtful. "Especially your clothing. Otherwise it might get AWKWARD."

She blinked, noticing his scar with curious interest, but not asking, since it wasn't part of the allowed topic, and because it wasn't her right, as far as she was concerned, to ask. But she refocused on his words. "Well yeah I can.. understand that. And if you get... nightmares or anything, sleep can be way less restful then I'd like..." She sighed, and looked at her feet, not happy.

She blinked at him. "Ever had a teddy bear? It can be like that, but... nicer. Warmer, more comfortable... if it's some one you trust." She sighed a little, and tilted her head at him. "I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable. I haven't had some one to cuddle in a long time myself."

"Well, yes," Merric conceded, with a slight tilt of his head. He offered Micah a small smile. "I know we get a bit of a boost just being here and being a hunter, but I always seem to...need a bit more, I wasn't even athletic growing up."

A little laugh escaped. "Well, I haven't heard of anything involving invisibility, but you never know. Have you noticed anything particularly...superhero-y while here?"

"Green would totally be my superhero uniform color," said Nash with a lazy grin. "And purple looks great, I'm sure it'd look badass on you."

A brow rose.

"What would you want to teleport to? Anywhere in particular?"

The teenager absentmindedly nudged her glasses further up her nose at the mention of them, quietly taking the brownie offering as the other two "dates" conversed. The wink had her almost choking as she nibbled, cheeks flushing a light pink as she tried to jump back into the conversation.

"I'd be worried about getting trapped under there. Ability to breathe doesn't matter if you're not where someone can readily find you."

She'd read a horror story once like that, in a book of legends and ghost tales. Someone had gotten caught between rocks in a cave and couldn't wedge his way out. Talk about horrifying.

"But I guess if you have super strength, it'll be okay?"

"Yeah thats a pretty good point, although both batman and iron man go up against guys who do have super powers and win on a regular basis so you could...almost say they do? Well I think it's pretty cool, or maybe it's some sort of positive message that you don't need magical super powers to be cool?"

It then struck her that she had a magical bow and a talking fox guy in her head, so she had magical powers too. Or was she ordinary and just had a magical bow?



"Woah, my weapon just told me he can boost my stats." Kammy was impressed.

Prolixity

The hug was a startling surprise, but a very pleasant one, Ave it left Henry feeling a little warm around the collar as she drew back. They weren't supposed to be touching, but he wasn't about to complain, and hopefully no one else did either. Still smiling, he'd blink Shabbat at the Tupperware as she offered, before holding up both hands. "Oh yes, please. I can't say no to Cami cooking."

Her choice on super hero, though not what he been expecting, was actually very appropriate, and he kicked himself a bit for not having thought of it himself. "Me? Oh, um. I'm not sure. Someone brave enough to be really selfless." The smile slipped into something a little more thoughtful as he considered it. There we a lot of superheros, but they weren't all nice, and they didn't all always fight for good, either. He supposed that humanized then a bit, though.

"Maybe Robin, like teen Titans storyline Robin. He's got all those awesome gadgets."

"Cool," said Mark after about thirty seconds, entirely having missed the point of speed dating. He still thought he was talking to Dottie, towel wrapped around his head over his Jedi robes. He was beginning to smell overly ripe. "So like, enough about you, let me like talk more about myself. I was born on a distant planet of a distant star, like a really far distant star like in the unknown galaxy wait would it be cooler if I had clones after me, nah actually that's not cool, so anyway no clones and like so there was this huge war on my planet, and it left it-"

And he would continue on, and on, for quite a while, detailing an entire fictional backstory about being abducted and trained as a kid mercenary before becoming a Jedi that sounded a lot like the entire storyline of Guardians of the Galaxy combined with Star Wars.
