It wasn't often that a customer had to sit at the table before ordering. Most would just go give their order to the cashier, using the menu hanging above him. Though with the amount of customers there were today, the cashier couldn't handle them alone. At last, the menus on the tables had a reason to be used today. "I think I'm just gonna get the usual.", Stacy said as she quickly placed her menu down. When the manager returned to the table, she could simply tell her the order. "Well, it looks like Saturday's gonna be the day. If Paul can keep her busy, I'll talk to my boss about taking Saturday off. ... Say, Maddy. You said you're gonna get some of Samantha's coworkers to join the party, right? How are you gonna do that? Know anyone who works there?"

Maddy scanned the menu and ended up getting the same thing she got last time. SHe told the manager her order as well "I can ask Paul to ask Samantha. It won't be strange or suspicious coming from him." she sipped at the water that was brought to them, "IF your boss is a girl, you can invite her too, if you want."

"Well...", said Stacy, "I can't really invite my boss. I work for a MISTER Penningway." She giggled a little at the thought of inviting him. Their sandwiches came immediately afterwards. "Thanks, miss.", Stacy said to the hostess. She took a bite from her sandwich. "So you've got invitations handled, right? How about the food we discussed yesterday? Any idea where we're getting it from?"

made bit into her sandwich, "Yep. Our personal caterer. He knows how to make really good food. I asked him last night and he agreed to do it. Are we sticking to a budget of some sort?" she stuffed her face some more, really being happy go lucky while tapped her foot in merriment.

"A budget..." Stacy began to think a little. "I thought you'd be paying for it. It was your idea to throw this party. And besides, I couldn't buy anything like a personal caterer, or a giant cake, or ... performers. So really, the budget can be whatever you want it to be, if that's alright." Saying it aloud, she began to worry a little. It seemed rather harsh to make someone else pay for the entire party, wealthy or not. Perhaps she COULD afford to pitch in a little. All that Madeleine would have to do was ask.

"I got it covered. I only ask because I don't want to go overboard like I always do. A budget may be in order. If not I might go out and buy a bunch of puppies that are pure bred an give them away as party favors." she ate more of her meal.

Stacy put a finger to her chin. "Alright then. How about 1,000 dollars? Sound like a good budget for you? I mean, we can find lots use for a simple 100, so 1,000 should give us enough wiggle room without going completely overboard." "That sound like a little too much? How about 500? What do you think?"

"That works. You want to be in charge of decorations while I'm in charge of the food and strippers. What about the cake? I say we get an erotic cake!!" Maddy said that last part rather loudly.

Stacy's face began to glow red with embarrassment. She thought she saw another patron or two give them awkward glances. Though she couldn't help but think she brought this upon herself. It was her idea to discuss this party in person at the Sandwich Barn. It was her responsibility to tone down the situation. "Uh... yeah.", she said, "An EXOTIC cake. That sounds great, Maddy. We can get something fancy and foreign. Any idea what country you want it styled like? I'm sure there's all sorts of great cakes around the world." She didn't see anyone else looking at her. Was she successful in turning this around? [I'm laughing my pants off with the scenes like these. Maddy is a really entertaining character. Good job!]

[Maddy doesn't know what embarrassing means xD][I am laughing so hard right now] "I said erotic, not exotic. You need to get your words right Stacy. I wonder how big we should make it. Maybe some white cream at the top and dripping down." she said with eagerness. She didn't see her words as being wrong at all, "Should we add hair curls to the decorations? I think that might be too much."

"But that cake though...", Stacy said as he shifted her eyes towards neighboring patrons, "This isn't a final decision, right? We can still workshop some ideas. Maybe something a little more high-brow for the stock brokers that are coming to her party? Just throwing that out there."

[When I said hair curls, I meant on the cake. Downstairs hair curls. not actual hairs. Well you know what I'm saying...right?] "Yeah I guess but its still going to be erotic. Maybe since he is while it should be a yellow cake. Not chocolate. is that something a person should be saying about her cousin?" maddy said as she finished up her sandwich and was now eating the onion rings.

[I fixed it. Stacy doesn't mention decorating in my previous quote.] [Also, did you meant to say "white"? You put "while". XD] "We already decided on a yellow cake, didn't we?", Stacy chuckled before finishing her own sandwich. "If I remember correctly, it was gonna be blackberry flavored too." "But are you SURE you want to... Oh, never mind." Stacy was starting to think that it was best to get off the cake subject. There was probably nothing she could do to change her mind. "I think I know a great place to buy decorations. I'll go there after work today, and send you some pictures. I can show you what I'm thinking of buying, and I can get your opinion on it before I do."

"I'll take care of the cake, don't you worry about that. I won't go to the baker just yet. We need to get a guest list." she finished her food, "I can help buy things. I know you live alone and struggle to pay bills. Don't worry I don't think less of you. But I do think you should eat instead." she put her hand on hers, "I am here for you. Want me to get you a boob cake?" she joked around with her Samantha was still waiting to be seen by the wedding planner [you play him remember?]

[Yeah. I just wanted to finish one exchange before we moved on to the next. Just a few more things, and we can see what Samantha's up to, right?] Stacy didn't know what to think. At first, she felt a little insulted at Maddy's comment that she "struggled to pay her bills". She wasn't THAT poor. She was at least well-off compared to her neighbors. Then again, Maddy seemed to know that she lived alone, and most likely knew of her bad area of town. She also seemed to know that Stacy's a lesbian, considering her last question. Not even Samantha knew that, yet Maddy did. How did she know? What else did she know? The thought was actually rather creepy. "Well, I think it's time for me to get to work. I'll show you those decorations later." She got her wallet out, prepared to pay for their food. [You said the scene was gonna end when Maddy paid, right? I guess now would be the time for it. Then we can get to the planner scene.]
