Losing had been a disappointment, but whatever, Alise was sure the prizes probably weren't all that cool anyways... or that was what she was going to tell herself, at the very least. There was still time before her mother would come to pick her up, so Alise found herself walking over to the table where people count paint their own eggs, a devious idea in mind. She knew her mother hated when Alise got her pretty dresses dirty, and what better way to get a dress dirty than to get paint all over it?
(It was probably washable paint, of course; they'd never leave the permanent stuff out for kids to get into)
Predictably enough, when it finally came time to return home, her mother hadn't been happy about Alise getting paint all over her dress, but knew it was pointless to try arguing about it with her daughter. That, at least, would be considered a personal victory for the preteen.

Briar Mackenzie - exitBriar hadn't expected to find his name called out as one of the winners of the egg hunt, but he had carefully taken the yellow and peach egg that was apparently his 'prize', wrinkling his nose slightly at the purple flower painted at the top.
Slipping it carefully in his bag he turned to Kirra, lips quirking up in a small smile "Let's go see if the shop has cookies" he said - because cookies were so much better than eggs with purple flowers.
He'd text Peter on the way and see if his friend was still around he decided, although personally skip the table with the 'paint-your-own' egg–
Because whilst there was still time before his parents came to get him, painting eggs wasn't something that Briar was particularly in to.
He waited for Kirra to follow and then turned and started walking back in the direction of the student lounge and - hopefully - some potential cookies.Quote: Sorry Loki, I thought that I'd written this exit post ages ago. Hope it works as an overall exit
