[ TUNNELS ] - The escape
Because he was apparently a scaredy-cat, Travis hadn't gone very far into the tunnels of creepy. Which meant that it was rather easy to escape. Down one tunnel, up some stairs. And then some more stairs. He tripped a few times, because he was woefully unprepared for running up so many stairs. Maybe he should workout.
In all honesty, Travis was contemplating the benefits of cardio training in this job. The need for combat training had been stressed to him, and the need for staying fit in general, but he was fairly certain he'd not put in enough effort to keep his running-up-stairs-strength up. He'd have to inquire about the frequency with which this happened. Or maybe he could just work on it so he was better prepared next time.

Tunnels - the escaping
As the locust began to finally thin out Harper got back up on her feet after curling up close to the ground to avoid the stinging as much as she could. There was no telling how far she had gone into the tunnels or where the exit was but she started to follow the rest of the voices before the noise of buzzing and pokemon music broke out over the headset and at first she thought maybe it was just a mistake on Mark’s part. Something simple like he had hit the button while playing the his game, but a few minutes later his voice rang out.
Abort.
Panic started to fill Harper, something had gone wrong and not only was she lost but she was alone for the most part. Breaking into a run she made a few wrong turns, a few right ones and after a running out of breath entirely she found the exist and bolted running head first into an oversized scorpion. It had apparently seen her first and before Harper could summon Eerikki it struck sinking its stinger into shoulder. Scrambling to her feet she tried to run up the stairs.
Get away, got to get away…
A cold chill ran over her as her stomach pitched forward, the stairs felt as if they were moving beneath her feet as they started to blend together.
Keep moving..

[ Outside/Cave entrance ] - Ready to support!
And then he was out of the cave, and OH. So that's what the warning over the headset had been about. Okay, well. Yeah sure. Sure that was real and it was there and - Travis leaned over hands on knees and forced himself to take some slow, deep breaths.
Okay. This could be dealt with, Right?

Cave Entrance/Outside - Ready for supportIt took her longer to get up the stairs, as the poison slowly worked its way around her body sending chills and the occasional stop to expunge some of it from her gut. Nevertheless she made it to the entrance of the cave holding up a hand to shield out the blinding sun. “What the hell is that…” Standing next to the rest of the hunters that had made it out she watched in horror as the glint of teeth continue to spread across the sinking sand. HP: 18/40 - Sun Hunter anyone just quote me if need some help

[ THE TUNNELS ] - Shu That wasn't Mark, he didn't have long black hair and the body figure seemed to suggest that was a girl. It was a stranger until Dwight gave hint of whom she might be. She tried to suppress the remained quivers in her voice and briefed him roughly. "Uncle Mark organized a rescue mission to save you and some people. Please drink some water." She grabbed the water bottle on the floor, offered and assisted the man to get a few slips. The "sister" call from Dwight didn't get by either. If she was his sister, she hoped she would be alright. Had two beloved sisters before, she wished not for the kind man to experience the same agony as she did. However, she wasn't sure what she saw actually. Was the blood flowing back to her body or she was losing that amount of blood? Her hands were still cold to touch, but she observed with the quashed fear. Her voice was a saviour, realizing the Life was in this dangerous cave but not at the cozy house with dear Peter not. " Mimsy? Why - Are you safe? I'm inside the maze-like tunnels." She was actually glad to hear her voice, as if she offered a pair of fluffy wings to keep everything bad at bay. " I left marker with the highlighter on my way to here - then there's a room - be careful it was filled with yellow gas that makes you sleepy - go through it and you'll find where I am.Knowing the woman well, once she determined to do something, no one could easily stop her. Hence she simply try her best to guide Mimsy. " There's a girl with Mr. Dwight as well but I can't confirm her situation." There came a hint of helplessness in her tone. Shu had no idea on what happened on Dwight's sisters but that girl's weird status was enough to perturb her. Once Dwight's condition got better, she went forward with valiancy to check Dwight's sister. "But it has to be done by someone." She replied the beast, while leaned close to examine the girl. "Can you hear me?" Asked Shu softly.

The Tunnels: Shu's Exit PointDwight's expression twists and crumples, chest suddenly heaving. Dry, silent sobs wrack his body for a long moment and then suddenly still. "It was...supposed to be secret." Why had Mark involved a group of people? "Don't tell then. About her...please don't..." The girl's head is at an awkward angle, but slowly she seems to become more aware, neck twisting her head back until she can look up at Shu from a more natural position. Opening her eyes, she's smiles mindlessly, teeth reforming, strands of blood seeking a home back in her mouth.

[ PRISON ROOM ] - Ace (Helping Lin) Their collective efforts paid off eventually, but all of a sudden, the girls stopped moving. Even his release her grab on the braid and be still like a puppet. It sent an inevitable chill down his spine but that wasn't a horrible one but the thrill you did experience in amusement park's haunted house. They stared at one of the trainees he didn't know (Terry) and Kimberly, together they blamed them in unison. Seeing the girl didn't seem to hurt herself, he rushed towards the the broken cage just on time to witness a girl launched herself at a trainee. "Oh man. Back off Kimberly, it might hurt a bit." The last word was speaking to Lin, Catherine loathed any contact other than her Ace. He inserted the slender scythe in between the open space between them when Lin's struggle managed to create one. Then he tilted it to seperate the two with Leverage. "We know, that's why we're here." Ace crooned. Having a carefree personality, the tall Sun didn't think of consequences. "Sorry we can't save everyone, we're just nobody." He acted on his instincts thus he simply carried the girl on her waist which allowed him to have the best control of her movement. "My condolences, say goodbye to your twin sisters." Mark's voice finally reappeared on their headsets and ordered a retreat. "Okay, Jason, Kimberly and everyone, time to move out." He checked if the Moon had calmed before he asked him to lead the way. "Ah, never thought of doing prison break one day." [ THE TUNNELS ]A small smile briefly crossed Mimsy's face as she heard Shu's voice again, a confirmation that she was still conscious and alive. She pushed past several hunters hurrying towards the exit, and she smile faded just as quickly, embittered that they were choosing to abandon them. None were granted the kindness of an assumption that they had a good reason for leaving. "I am unharmed and well," she assured her, falling silent again as she checked for the marker that Shu indicated. After verifying that she could see it and that she had some semblance of an idea of where she was going, she resumed her trudge into the tunnels, using the faint glow of the tracker to light the way. "I will be with you soon, Shu. Thank you for providing clear directions. You have been very vigilant." This was the last she spoke until she reached them, opting instead to focus on traveling through the tunnels and obstacles that had been outlined by Shu, and to listen very carefully for any indication that Shu's safety was in danger. Everything else was shut away for the moment; right now, this was what mattered.

[ THE TUNNELS: Shu's Exit Point ]When she finally found them, her first motion was directly towards Shu, silently offering a grateful smile and outstretched arms to her if she needed to be hugged. "You have done so well," Mimsy praised her. "I am proud. Surely everyone else will be too." From there, her gaze wandered between Dwight and the girl whose body was steadily repairing itself. It didn't require much thought for her to add the two together, and for her stance to become more defensive of Shu in turn. "Dwight." She spoke very cautiously, almost as afraid to speak as she was to touch him, lest she somehow caused him to break. It was imperative for him to be all right, but she feared the girl might pose a threat to Shu if allowed to recover. "What should we do? What is your preference?" 'What is right' was left unsaid - the question that she had already asked so much of him.

Time rewinded a little bit before Mimsy's arrival, noticing the bloods were actually returning to the girl's body, she stepped backward. It was like a scene of classic Asian horror where when one asks a figure with their back at them, the figure would turn and show the most horrifying face at them. She was about to promise Mark when he announced the abortion and then his side interferred again. The petite Death rolled her eyes in reaction, every time we need him...... With a few steps, she returned to Dwight's guard and poised in case she would hurt him. Shu was confused if Dwight and her had a bad fight. Hearing the sobs from the man was the saddest thing, she gently pull him into a hug while keeping her eyes wide at the girl. That method of comforting she did learn from her beloved sisters. " Let them feel your heart beat, let them feel the warmth and love from another person." They smiled affectionately when she asked why their hugs were so magical. "Uncle Mark's very worried about you." That "it" she had no idea for, but she nodded seriously. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. You need to rest." Shu said with a soft but firm voice, resumed some warmth from touching the man. <******** complicated family issue there! Blah.> She welcomed Mimsy with a bloosom of smile and buried herself within the Life's embrace. "You find us!" She nestled against Mimsy's body. It felt good not to be alone by herself. Her eyes traveled between the intelligent Life and Dwight, just to make sure they're both fine. Then she stared at the girl like a watchful cat in case she took the gap of the conversation to strike at them. Even if she's Dwight's sister, she won't allow her to hurt anyone of them.

[ DISSECTION ] - ESCAPING
Sherry was still trying to get out of the room unnoticed - especially since it seemed like there was some infighting among the enemy. She didn't even want to think about what they'd do to her. At least, until she heard the odd laughter and looked up to see - the other hunters. It took Sherry a few moments to process the situation in the room. There never had been any horseman, had there? Just the others hunters.
Sherry climbed to her feet, fully aware she was now filthy and gross, and looked around. The recent chatter over the headsets was troubling. After weighing various options Sherry moved for the stairs. They couldn't save anyone if they lost the portal, and that one report indicated the portal was in danger. She might not know who Sy was, but they sounded serious. And honestly it was the Sahara. OF COURSE there was a monster about to swallow everything. Sherry wasn't even surprised.
About half way up the stairs the insects attacked. They swarmed and stung and bit - and then they were gone. It was all very sudden and very ominous.

Rep hated bugs and the ******** onslaught of them had been a nightmare which had left him more or less stuck, Tracey was too ******** big for the caves, it was all too ******** small and everything was a complete ******** nightmare.
He wanted to leave when the call to do so was announced but refused to get out of there while Mark was possibly here too.
"Mark where the ******** are you?" he snarled into the headset over the noise.
How many lives were worth his own? Almost ever ******** life in the whole world exceeded the value of his, because he was worth nothing. It was a dumb question.
