Aida would walk sniffing the ground as they went. She wasn't a bloodhound, but her ability to track was better than her trainer at this moment ...and wondering around aimlessly seemed quite stupid.
Though, the Snubbull would never admit it ...she wasn't doing much better. Her kind had been breed to be spectacle not useful, and in times, her sense of smell had been compromised for that beauty and power.
Add onto the fact that she was a pampered pokemon, and though she was taking in scents the only ones she recognized was that of herself and her trainer. So the best she could hope for in this world of desolation is to find a scent that was different for the others ...not pokemon ...which she was having to try and figure out exactly what that meant.
Smelling for something different ...had been her goal, but, Aida quickly figure out that their landing spot ...had been used by multiple creatures. She could only hope that she was following the right one.
Tiye tried her best to dust herself off and fix her appearance as they walked.
Venturing deeper into the jungle the boy would find his next encounter a rather surprising one. Leaning against the thick trunk of a free, wearing a thick set of tan coveralls with yellow reflective stripes, and sitting before a fire was a perfectly normal human. Over the fire was his hard hat, filled with a combination of water, mushrooms, and spindly legs. Likely the remains of a Paras.
"Who....WHO GOES THERE!? Are you hu-human!? OR just another one of those damn mushrooms!?" The man cried in panic, waving a stick in Trafalgar's general direction. It would seem he'd found his worker.
It wouldn't take long before long met one of the inhabitants of the fields, and as one would expect you'd have to be completely bonkers to live here. The stage was set upon piled rocks, building a literal stage. Steam jets burst forth like special effects as a Pokemon stumbled into view. Dizzy and holding a piece of driftwood like a microphone, the Spinda would look like she was lost until she called out ">3...2....1....GOOOOOOOOO!!!!<" An instant later Nim and Eins would be subjected to some sort of bizarre bubbly pop tune!

It would seem they had a bit of a fiesty deviant here! No matter, all of that could be cooled off! Raising it's stubby arms towards the sky, the Vanillite would call upon the gods of snow and ice, and certainly ice crystals would begin to form, turning to snow and taking wind. Though they were fluffy, their cold was beyond measure. This was the power of Powder Snow!
Perhaps that admission was all it took, what this battle had truly been about. The world seemed to turn sideways as the Guardian's attack missed Ordo by a good several feet. It had been it's strongest, deadliest attack, and yet it had managed to come nowhere near the Litleo. Was this the sign of things changing, or simple dumb luck before defeat?
They were about to find out as the Cryogonal pulled itself into the snow to strengthen it's body with the ice and cold ther.e

Well that hadn't gone particularly well. Discarding his icicles, the Sneasel would try to take several steps back. Get an artists perspective on the situation!
Eventually the girl would find herself in the presence of a Numel, but given the way it walked right passed her as though she were a rock, bobbing it's head and walking in a perfectly straight line, it seemed it was oblivious to it's surroundings.
Onyxia's heart skipped a beat as the attack missed. She bit her lip a little in thought. She had a single Pokeball left, and had failed twice to catch the Cryogonal. She looked to Ordo who just gave a nod. "Alright Ordo, use tackle." She watched her Litleo charge with some spirit and determination. Heading right for the Cryogonal. "I know this is pointless to argue with you. But you can still willingly join us."
Altair jumped a little, eyes wide as he abruptly stopped in his tracks. "Goodness...you poor creature..." he remarked, looking down at his strange new company. That form, that angry demeanor, he really couldn't help but feel bad for her. It had to be hard living like this, because... "...you are more hideous than the last one! Who did your ancestors upset to have cursed you so badly!?"
The only thing more offensive than his words was his choice in pokemon. "I summon the familiar, Spica! Protect me from this...demonic entity." he boomed, and out came the sneasel between them. His mouth and chest were still covered in the blood of the smoochum's sister. He seemed oblivious to the fact, instead staring wide eyed at the smoochum like his trainer had been earlier. "> Are you crazy! She's gonna rip me in half! <"
Though he couldn't understand the sneasel, Altair was safe to assume he was hesitant to fight. He couldn't blame him! If he was a pokemon he would be as well. "It cannot kill you if you kill it first" he said in a calm, reassuring tone, which only prompted another extreme reaction from Spica. "> You're the worst! I mean, you make sense, but you're the worst! Guh...I don't wanna to take orders from you, but I ain't got a choice here. <" the sneasel slapped his cheeks, as if trying to muster up the mood to fight. Getting into an attack stance, he snarled before lunging forward at the smoochum, ready to give her a taste of the same Crunch that ended her sister before her!
Yet ast he Litleo crashed into the Cryogonal, it's response to Onyxia's words were clear. Beneath the weight of the Litleo, it would strike rock strengthened by ice, and shatter like a plate of glass upon the ground. It would rather die than join her...
With that Onyxia had done it. She'd won her first true battle of the island, and even more so she had beaten a Guardian. It had not been without it's difficulties, and certainly it had been touch and go for a time, but Orodo would come out all the stronger for this experience!
Onyxia's heart sank as the battle had finished. A beautiful Pokémon had to die. Shaking the thought she looked to Ordo. "We need to be careful. The Cryogonal nearly killed you." She picked Ordo up to look him over a little more. "Okay, let's try to find a friend and find that worker." She had one pokeball left, which meant she needed to convince a Pokémon to willingly join her. She began to walk, sliding through the snow from time to time. Ordo, the little oven, keeping her warm as she moved.
Trafalgar couldn't believe the sight in front of him. He had managed to run into...the person he was looking for! The missing worker! "Hi there, no need to worry, I am human, just like you. My name is Trafalgar Vince Olympius X, I was sent here actually by the organization, to come find you and then rescue you. Your days of worries are now over. How...have you managed to survive? Are you alright?" Trafalgar questioned the man. Boy, he was glad to have found him, alright!

Every single word that came out of Altair's mouth made the Smoochum fall deeper into her fury. /OI!/ she roared, flailing her flippers harder. /Do know how hard I work for this physique, you jibbering Jigglypuff?! How DARE you?!/ This impudent little brat!
Her focus changed as Spica appeared, and she began to shudder with hate. She beat her flippers hard against her chest and snarled, her blood boiling at the sight of her sister's killer. /Murderous wretch!/ she wailed. /You'll be LUCKY if you rip you in half!/ The Smoochum glared at the Sneasel, her beak clacking loudly. With a reckless fury, she would dodge so much as duck, aiming to glide right under Spica's Crunch. If the Crunch missed, she'd find herself close enough to Spica to try a proper attack. And if the attack landed, well... she'd go out fighting.

Nim paused for a few moments as she stared at the Spinda, transfixed. She felt torn; on one hand, the creature was oddly charming in a way that needed to be protected from the rest of the world. On the other hand, she kind of wanted to punt it and call it a jerk.
/FREEBIRD!/ yelled Eins, waving her stick like a lighter.
Nim shuddered and closed her eyes. She needed to keep searching; this Pokemon wasn't a worker, and if it wasn't going to attack her, she'd just... stay way.

Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 3 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. The Mienfoo would cheer, pausing to twirl in place as she pumped her tiny fists in the air! /Take that, evil-doer!/ she cried, once again spinning around on one leg to point threateningly at her opponent! /I dare you to try and hit me, foul beast! The horrible darkness cannot lay a hand on the true light!/ Instead of dodging, the Mienfoo balanced there on one foot, weaving and waving! Overconfident little minx.
