Huyana Post 4
He chuckled when she mentioned that his memory was better. Considering the path he'd chosen in life she was right. Huyana had a tendency to remember things in detail. So he said nothing more about it. Instead he focused on her, giving her his complete attention. Pulling on her hand he brought her closer and kissed the back of her hand softly. "I think he just wants a companion but you'd have to ask him." He honestly wasn't sure what the boy wanted in a familiar.
When she drew his attention to a beast merchant he looked them over before nodding. "Looks like a good spot." Huy motioned for her to lead the way but never let go of her hand.

Masika Post 3
When she found something that finally caught her eye, and made her stomach growl, she pulled her aunt along with her. Masika chuckled as Keket grumbled but after getting the food from the vendor and handing it to her aunt there was no more complaints. "Lets move over here out of the way Aunt Keket." She motioned to the side so that others could get to the food stall.
They moved and she grinned as her aunt took delight in the food that had been picked for them. Masika took a bite and gave a hum as the delicious flavor touched her tongue. Since her mother was still out and about with her little sister the hybrid was content to stay where she was and finish eating. With no where to be Masika was enjoying being leisurely.

Ozzrick || 3
“Estellaina,” Ozzrick repeated, studying her a moment. “Well that is certainly a beautiful mouthful of a name, isn’t it?” When she took his hand, though, his smile stretched into another grin, and he ventured a brief squeeze and a shake. “I…”
Well, what was he here for?
He cleared his throat, rolling his shoulders back and adjusting his posture.
“I am here to entertain,” he said, “and I suppose to explore. But yes, more or less—people come from great distances to tout their wares…” He glanced her way and, well, there was nothing outrightly wrong with keeping up a little flare for a lovely woman was there? “They also come to share culture, food, talk, ideas…our lands have their disagreements, but this is a peaceful opportunity where we may all share with one another in revelry.”
And aid in lightening the pockets of those burdened with having them always so full. But that was a courtesy Oz supposed he could spare her from for the moment.
“What brought a pretty, formidably dangerous and self-sufficient thing like you so far from home?”

Tyiva - 3
"You're fortunate then to have not gained any personal experiences then." Tyiva glanced over towards the Oban before closing her mouth once more. What was the point in chastising the foreigner for not doing her research? It wasn't as if Tyiva had done much more herself before heading out away from Jahaur. Who knew what dangers had awaited her in these strange places?
Flushing slightly Tyiva nodded, "Ah. Someone had to help the sisters out after a hunt. I wished to do the best I could to help them out so I learned." It was almost as if she were pouting for being called out as a cook, "It may not be the best, but it's not the worst either. If anything it only sharpened my hunting skills by teaching me to be even more aware of scents and timing." She didn't know why she felt the need to defend herself, but Tyiva was slightly sensitive. After all who would want the job of food preparation when compared to the thrill of actually participating in the hunt?
Ever so slowly Tyiva took the offered food and after watching Karothdra carefully the alkidike opened her own mouth to take a bite. Oh it was hot! Yet as the taste filled her mouth the woman let out a moan, "This...is rather good." She managed as she glanced away with some embarrassment. Food was just there for substance why get so excited over its taste? "Is...this a common food of your people?" She questioned before peeking back over at Karo and popping the rest into her mouth. If so then perhaps this was one reason for an Alkidike to wish to leave Jahaur for a little bit. Food definitely was a temptation to add to her list of things to report to the young mystic.

Jakkoa || 2“It is.” Jakkoa eyed the crowd critically as they walked, managing to maintain a mostly neutral expression but—there were so many obscure looking persons scattered in among the more ‘usual’ crowd. “I wonder what inspired it,” he mused aloud. “I’ve been to a number of these before and yes, naturally they are always a swarm of sorts but…” His gold eyes narrowed on a wandering passerby the parentage of whom he could only begin to guess. “This is beyond even its own scope of typical intermingling.” His gaze flicked to Hargitt, though, at the latter words and, in spite of himself, he relaxed a portion. Though he would not have sworn to the reliability of the source, the information had seemed genuine at the time he’d initially heard it. But he did not want to believe that anything would be coming armed from that awful island. The salt and pepper sprinkle of Yaelians among them already was more than enough. “Nothing.” His thumb fiddled, brushing absently over a bead from the string at his hip. “Or…I would hope nothing. I am sure you’re right. Even with the scattering of island visitors here surely there are enough still across the shore to keep a handful of banished savages entertained.”

Kieran - 2
Kieran raised an amused eyebrow at his companion, "Have you seen a ghost before to confirm that?" He questioned with a smile, "Last time I checked I could physically touch someone from Sauti. When I actually pass through a stranger then I will be worried."
Flushing as she suddenly clung to him, Kieran found himself momentarily distracted. She was being rather adorable...but still. His gaze hardened slightly as he glanced towards the alkidikes, "Those are only a mirror image of the demons we know. The ones living here are not like them. In fact they divided themselves and cast their evil overseas...before they knew we lived there. Strange looking or not I've found out that they are living beings just as we."
Though as she pulled away the man did frown. He actually had enjoyed the rare warmth, "Still, it may be best to keep together so we don't get spirited away." He commented quietly as he pressed closer to her, "I hear that things are different here so you don't have to worry as much about the beliefs of home."
"Don't worry. As long as we hold onto each other..." Here he offered her his hand, "Then they can't keep us since we'll be together. I'll protect you, Tai. Can you trust me?"

Zyphire - 2
Zyphire had to pause. Was...was someone yelling at him? The boy turned on his heel prepared to utter a sharp retort when instead he found himself silent. Woah. Gods have mercy that woman had a figure. "Never knew a person from Tale could uh....be so nice." He commented quietly to himself with a smile before taking a few steps towards the woman, "Starving?" Zyphire raised a brow, "I could say I'm starving too now that you mention it. I hear there's some good food at the stall right over there." Nodding in the general direction of one of the several food stalls the shifter grinned, "Care to try it out together, then?"

TAU - post 4
Tau sighed and handed over his coins in exchange for the sticks of food. He grabbed three, two for him and one for Liira. Handing Liira a stick, he rolled his eyes. "Well here, and then if you want more, we can get some."
With one stick in each hand for himself, he went to work decimating the meat that never stood a chance. He had juices dribbling down his chin and grinned at the flavors. "Where is this recipe from anyways? It's definitely not from Tale." he commented to Liira.

Uzumati - 3
Uzumati raised a brow at the deflated reaction. Tilting his head the man just studied the girl before letting out a sigh of his own. Did he even need to bother trying to understand why she was sad? Unless had he truly upset her by bumping into her? Gaze widening at the thought Uzumati quickly reached over into his bag so that he could take out a brilliant green feather. It had been a hard find, but still it was something that he hoped would help.
After all his uncle had taught him that if a girl seemed dejected then a gift always helped. This was a good way to be more 'civilized' right? Holding up the feather Uzumati forced a smile as he offered it to the girl.

LIIRA - post 4
Liira accepted the meat from her husband and looked at his with her head cocked to the side. He was practically a monster. His teeth ripped through the meat in a matter of seconds and she looked at her own stick with just a little less enthusiasm now. "You should learn to eat... well... more civilized." She sighed and took a nibble from her own share.
It was good, and the flavors were different than any of the places she had been too before. The man at the stall answered their question for them and Liira nodded her head. "Ah, I guess it's Matorian. It tastes good." She answered Tau.

YEJIDE - post 4
She was almost surprised when he accepted her offer. Usually the people she met wasn't really keen on knowing anyone else. But hey, it was a good thing, right? Branching out, meeting people other than family.
Yejide rubbed the back of her neck at the fire boy's question. What to get someone who just sat all day. Well... that was a hard one. "Well I mean... do they have any hobbies or something? It's pretty hard to pick out a gift for someone who does nothing." She answered with a laugh.

MIRIN - post 4
Mirin grinned to her friend. It had been a long time, but she looked embarrassed by the fact. Maybe it was because every time Mirin had seen her she was lost, and had no idea where she was going.
Korra's father asked if they wanted to explore alone, and Korra seemed to want them both to go with her. "Well I don't really know anything about bows, but I'm definitely up to learning a little bit and just hanging out." She answered. She didn't mind if they had her dad tagging along. What were they going to do anyways that he couldn't come? Get in trouble? She laughed at her own thoughts. She was anything but mischievous, that was for sure.

JHANA - post 4
Jhana was a little taken aback that Jerami had been out and about so much without them. Not that he couldn't have other friends, but they had always been a team. It was something she would have to get over and not pout about later, for the good of her brother. He didn't need to worry just because Jhana was over emotional about... well everything.
He spoke of his arrowhead and she leaned in closer to look at it. "You know, I never really asked where you got that. I just thought you had bought it somewhere." She nudged Shima with her elbow. "Looks like our brother is hiding more from us that we thought. He has a crush." She lingered on the last words, dragging them out and teasing Jerami with them.

TYYN - post 4
The guy in front of her was a strange one. Like... he just didn't act like anyone she had ever met before, and she had met some crazies, that was for sure. He pulled out a feather and held it out to her, like he was offering it, maybe he was trying to apologize? Maybe he just wanted to give her a feather, like man, how was she supposed to know what he was trying to say.
She took the feather out of his hands with hesitation. "Thank... you?"

Lilif - Post 4 Lilif smiled and then rubs the back of her neck. "Yaaa... I ended up finding him on my pillow.. the day after I fell asleep on him" She says, kind of nervious. She smiles though when the snake hissed and moved close to her. She looks at Uli and smiles. "Lily is a nice. If you want to you can call me that" She says and smiles, chuckling softly. 'He seems really nice' she thinks to herself. She looks at riya, nodding. "I'll call you Riya then" She says happliy. Lilif tilted her head a bit. "A boyfriend huh.. I could help you look for him if you want" She says, petting her snakes head gently and looking at her she smiles a bit.
