Erion prided himself on a photogenic memory. So he didn't really study too much of the periodic table because he saw it just about every day in class. He thought that would be enough to remember it all, but was rather surprised when the teacher sprung that on them for a pop quiz. Maybe he was nervous, or PE had just worn him out too much that day. Still, he thought 88 out of 118 wasn't all that bad.

Brailyn wanted to prove that she could handle her schooling here in Below, as it was radically different from that in her old home. She went to bed with a copy of the periodic table almost every night. She was happy when her studying paid off and she was able to memorize a whole 102 of them for her quiz! She even showed off the grade to her twin because she was so thrilled about it!

Niamh
Niamh had been working extra, extra hard in Science, since she'd found it so challenging as a Freshling. She studied twice as hard for it as any other class, easily. She practically vibrated when the test was dropped off, but soon a smile crossed her face. She rapidly filled in the boxes, feeling pretty good.
When her score was returned, she practically beamed. All that hard work had paid off!

 Wisteria was rather amazed she felt like she knew almost all the answers to the test. She didn't realize she had a head for science stuff.

 Eisetsu wanted to crumple up her test when she couldn't remember any of the answers. 16 out of 118 soo didn't count. She grumbled.

 Sweet Tart sat down and did his test as best as he could. He wasn't worried about getting the most answers right. He wasn't worried about being a science wizz it was all cool.

 Avocado was currently daydreaming about planes, when he realized he was almost out of time to do his quiz. He only had time to fill in 16 answers.

 Archimedes stared at the test his mind a blank. He filled in as many answers as he could but was pretty sure he needed to study a lot more before the final.

 Cembra stared at the questions on the pop quiz, looking up at and down from the board as she worked at finishing her answers. It was only the at the end of the quiz that she realized that she had filled in the bubbles one row to the right... but only for part of it, and not for others?!
None of the answers matched up with what she remembered answering, and the result was, quite frankly, enough to bring the small freshling to tears. She handed in her quiz with a sniffle, and shuffled out of the room as quickly as she could, wanting just to be done with her horrific attempts at salvaging the test.
Evidently, the sciences weren't for her.

It turned out that when your twin made faces at you, it was difficult to focus on the task at hand. 'Cho didn't even finish her test in the end– she ran out of time, leaving the last few questions unanswered.

Maybe, in hindsight, it hadn't been best to goof off while studying. Or to make faces at his sister whenever he was sure the teacher wouldn't see.
Oh, well. At least he made a pretty picture in the margin.
