Havelock was born into a wealthy family, and was the firstborn of a powerful union. His demon mother was the head of the Vetinillia family, a longstanding name amongst merchants that had been established during the first large demon civil war. His other mother was the second in line to a powerful litch house - Rinari - who provide alchemical potions and ingredients to some of the most established companies Below. It was expected that Havelock would be raised with the most expensive education and resources. The fact that he was mutated meant little to his parents, although quickly-quelled rumours frequently arise among the families as to why his mothers had risked awakening a child during the hallows. Despite the concerns, Havelock grew to be confident and near-disturbingly intelligent; his ability to problem solve was seen as a great boon, ensuring he would be a significant asset to either the merchant family or the alchemical monopoly. It wasn't until he was a teenager that Havelock realised he was missing a key part of his education - socialisation. While he often saw other children within his families' social circles, he became aware that he was practically clueless towards any other cultures. The young hybrid insisted that he attend the large Asphdel Academy so he could observe the less fortunate and learn more than he ever could within his insulated home. His mothers were dubious at first, but it was difficult to deny any requests from the persuasive teenager. When he left, his mothers chose to awake another child, concerned that their firstborn may be straying from the path they had desired for him.
Once he arrived at the Academy, Havelock found himself thrown into the midst of a whole new world. While he still lived at his large family estate, just spending a few hours a day in the new environment was enlightening. It didn't take him long to slide to the top of the school hierarchy; his smooth tongue and quick wit was enough to compensate for his intimidating appearance. Havelock found himself so invested in the different communities around the school that he signed up to be a school leader, enjoying the challenges of problem solving for dozens of different cultures and how to get them to co-operate and engage with one another. This hobby eventually turned into a passion for the hybrid, and he made the confident decision to pursue a career in politics. Seeing all of his plans come to fruition, chaos turning into order, people eager to follow his ideas and instructions - it was intoxicating to him. Only one thing distracted him from his studies and political interests; a beautiful fey named Tsuki. She was studious and yet so hesitant, an obvious cloud of fear always following her. Havelock approached her once after a history class, concerned she may need help. The fey was immediately infatuated; a handsome, confident stranger had taken a notice of her, and she immediately felt more at ease in the hybrid's presence. Havelock always responded well to people admiring him, but there was something so sincere in Tsuki that he felt himself being equally drawn to her. Despite the fear that seemed to surround her, there was a burning passion in her eyes that he found both charming and inspiring. Over the next few years Havelock loved nothing more than getting to know Tsuki, discovering her deepest passions and fears; he was always encouraging her to pursue what stoked her inner fire, sincerely confident that she could excel in any field she desired. Together they were unstoppable, and they remained together throughout their studies at Asterion. Havelock graduated a year earlier than her and had launched into his career of politics, although it came abruptly to a halt when the Infected attacked.
Havelock had been visiting his younger brother who was enjoying some festivities at the Academy when the alarms began to sound. He quickly leapt into action, organising the chaos into orderly groups, making sure everyone stopped panicking and used the most efficient routes to the safehouse. Of course, this meant he himself was still in danger when the first group of cannibals arrived. He was prepared to fight - all Vetinillia children were taught by an established assassin family, and his venomous tail was always useful in a fight - but hadn't realised his brother had stayed behind to watch him lead the masses. Needing to both escort his brother to safety and fight off the attackers, even Havelock couldn't survive the night unscathed. As he threw his brother into the safehouse and closed the door, he was pinned to the ground by a powerful Infected. While he felt their teeth sink into his neck and his vision begin to fade, he replayed the last thing he had saw - his brother screaming, tears pouring down his cheeks as he reached out for his hero, just as the door slammed shut.
Havelock awoke in a cave, greeted by other Infected... his new family. A hunger had filled him during his slumber, an insatiable desire for power and control. The cannibals hadn't realise what a prize they had found when they first turned the hybrid; a bright mind that could manipulate the most chaotic civilisation into a well-oiled machine. Within a few weeks, the Infected were far more efficient in their hunts, growing their numbers and power. While the Queen was their undeniable ruler, many of them turned to Havelock to solve their problems and guide them in their daily routine. Havelock was satisfied with his new life for a few months, but his ever-present hunger was slowly driving him mad. In such an isolated community he could never truly gain control or experience the thrill of guiding a nation, as he was intending to do in his old life. He came to the conclusion that the Infected needed to grow their numbers dramatically and infiltrate the upper echelons of Asphodel. Of course, such a bold plan would need others that were just as determined and skilful as he was; he needed passion and support, and he knew exactly what he wanted; Tsuki. His first attempt to contact her was unsuccessful - he hadn't been prepared for her violent rejection upon realising what he was. Havelock still persists, however, as he has been filled with a new hunger, a new hunt. The hybrid will turn all his careful planning and analytical mind towards this goal, hoping Tsuki will finally satisfy his all-consuming hunger.

Caramel's parents seemed to imbue on a whim, resulting in three children - a handful for any new parents. Caramel was always a rebellious child and often convinced one of her siblings to gang up on the other. She seemed to try and control those around her through sheer will power; she never wanted to consciously manipulate them, it just seemed to come naturally to her. Caramel didn't do well in classes due to her disruptive nature and how easily she grew bored from conventional subjects. Maths, history, culture - none of it appealed to the headstrong hybrid. From freshling to junior, her teachers struggled to find a way to engage Caramel in her work. Her parents seemed frustrated by her inability to focus and succeed in her classes, which in turn drove Caramel further away and caused her to grow defensive of herself.
The only class that seemed to interest Caramel was art - however even there she caused nothing but grief for her teachers, as she preferred to paint the bodies of her fellow students rather than a canvas. Her mischief didn't cause her to land in any real trouble until she began using the craft scissors to snip off her friends' hair. While the hairstyles could be considered interesting, her choppy, messy work caused an unimpressed outcry from their parents. Constantly in trouble and forbidden to do the one thing she enjoyed - art classes - Caramel left the Academy as soon as she was old enough. Her parents were of course disappointed in the lack of direction in their 'wild child', but eventually they realised how she could turn her energy to something productive - hair dressing. She clearly enjoyed snipping away at people's hair, so why not do it for a living?
It took some convincing to turn Caramel's eyes towards any sort of academic institute again, but after spending a day of orientation at the Asphodel community college she fell in love. The atmosphere was relaxed and encouraging of creativity, with many students that were just like her - energetic and headstrong, not willing to let anything stand in their way. With her enthusiasm now pointed in the right direction, Caramel began to excel in her hair dressing classes, taking body art classes as electives. Her success in class allowed her to obtain an apprenticeship at a local hair salon, finally earning Caramel income and, with it, independence. Her aspirations are clear - graduate from community college and open her own salon come body art shop.

name.candy nicknames.deedee gender.female race.hallowed slime birthday.3rd of november 2018 zodiac.wreath orientation.asexual occupation.familiar adoption agent partner.none colour.#d71f7a song.b wise - the key
Candy was among the first slimefolk to evolve from a familiar, however she was seen as particularly intriguing as she had been a mutant slime as a familiar. When she evolved and adapted into a sentient individual, her mutant-shaped slime endured the transition. Fortunately, her floating hearts were more seen as endearing than freakish, and Candy was happily accepted into the classes that specialised in teaching the new slimefolk how to be a part of society. Like many newly evolved slimefolk, Candy was timid of her surroundings but had a child-like innocence and sense of discovery. She was often praised by her teachers for her ability to adapt and learn the world around her and found joy in helping the other slimefolk as much as she could.
Despite the praise in classes, it was clear when people looked at Candy they saw nothing but a child. While many people were accepting of the new slimefolk, others found it disturbing that familiars could evolve into free-thinking individuals with as many rights as any other race. She found herself being subconsciously taught to stay in her shell and not try anything too ambitious - she was just a smart familiar, after all. Despite her pleasing and helpful nature, she grew frustrated by the constraints constantly being raised around her. She believed everyone was only trying to help but she, too, wanted to help others. With the assistance of kind teachers and patient friends, Candy was able to pass the curriculum set out by the Asphodel community college. She had studied in familiar care, her soft nature lending itself to work that involved helping others, especially little critters that couldn't help themselves.
Upon graduating, Candy was at a loss. She had been implicitly told over and over that she could not live on her own. The world was new to her, after all, and it was difficult to be treated with respect when only a few years ago she had been a pile of semi-sentient goo. During her time at college, she had seen a few small groups of slimefolk fighting for the rights of their familiar kin. Slime ranches had started to gain negative press, and many slime familiars had been disowned due to the difficult nature surrounding their ownership. As a slimefolk herself, however, Candy saw no problem in her kin having loving homes pre-sentience. It was during this time of internal turmoil that Candy decided what she wanted to do with her life - help familiars, slime and others, find loving homes. She quickly applied to a local familiar adoption centre and has found boundless joy in spending her days with familiars large and small. Who knows, she might even be able to influence particularly intelligent slimes into achieving their own sentience.

name.minnkun // razem nicknames.minky gender.female race.hallowed baphomet // dryad // elf // naga // shade birthday.3rd of december 2018 zodiac.key orientation.homosexual occupation.florist // alchemist partner.none colour.#e38e91 song.jess kent - girl
Minnkun was abandoned upon being awakened - her parents had hoped she would have been born with 'desirable' mutations, not bones. Of course, Minnkun wasn't the only child who was a victim to this small group of individuals that craved beautiful uniqueness that was becoming more and more popular in society. There were many just like her in the Academy orphanage - the rejects. Minnkun decided early on in her life she didn't want to become twisted and bitter over her abandonment, choosing instead to force herself to be relaxed and uncaring. Of course, some of the orphans around her took their rejection more to heart, so Minnkun quickly became an empathetic and helpful individual. She hated that they were suffering because of something out of their control, and began to grow resentful of the society that had enabled the situation that affected them all.
Minnkun wasn't surprised when she faced unpopularity during her time at the Academy. She knew her appearance was off-putting and her tail had developed a mischievous streak, enjoying the fear it instilled in the ignorant. The hybrid shrugged off anything spiteful that came her way, and fortunately her relaxed attitude and quick wit earned her some respect. By the time she was a junior, most of her peers treated her with respect if not kindness and she found it easier to make connections. Of course, Minnkun still knew she was something of an outsider - especially when people talked about family - and chose to mostly focus on classwork. Her love for botany and alchemy were quickly revealed during her senior years, but she was often told that it was difficult to find a career in those fields in the big city. Naturally, this wasn't a problem for the hybrid - who said she wanted to stay in the city anyway? She had no family, no close friends, nothing to keep her in the society that showed nothing but resentment for who she was.
Minnkun stuck around the academy until she graduated to please the caregivers who had raised her - she owed them that much, after all. The second she received her graduation confirmation she left Asphodel with the small amount of savings she had made during her part time work in a flower shop. She wandered for some time, knowing what she wanted to do but not where to do it. Eventually she found herself to the small town of Rosebud, where she took on a small loan from the town manager to purchase a quaint two storied cottage just outside of town - the first floor was perfect as a sales floor while she lived in the second floor. The surrounding area was ripe with unique flowers, and after a few weeks she had begun to cultivate a lush, beautiful garden. Minnkun now spends her days looking after her plants and mixing them into helpful potions to sell to the nearby townfolk, while occasionally experimenting with perfumes on the side. She is content with her life for now, and has begun to take on the title of 'plant potion witch'. Fitting, she believes.
