Early the next morning, Emily woke up, feeling strange. It was a good strange. She was away that she had been laying on Cody, and she still was. Smiling, she gave him a soft hug, sat up and stretched as she yawned. Emily wanted to make breakfast for him. Getting up without disturbing him, she limped out of the room and down the hallway, all the way to the kitchen where she would make breakfast

Cody woke up the next morning, stretching as he realized two things, one that Emily wasn't in bed with him and that the smell of food filled the air. He got up and walked to the kitchen as he noticed her making breakfast, "Good morning Emily, how did you sleep and is your leg okay? Should you be on it?" He asked concerned but caring, he didn't want her forcing too much pressure on her ankle.

Just as Emily took the eggs off the heat and put them in a bowl, she heard Cody talking. Turning to him, she tried to hide the fact that she was in pain, having bumped her ankle a number of times. Smiling she went over after putting the pan down and hugged him, "I'm doing good. I slept great, thank you for that. Breakfast is almost done." On the table were eggs, bacon, cut up fruit, sausage, pancakes and orange juice.

Cody gently hugged her back but he helped her to the table, "Well im glad that you're doing good but you should rest you feet because i know that your leg is hurting you." he said as he could easily see her trying to hide the pain in her leg.

"I'm fine, really--" Emily put her foot down to walk and she nearly tripped as she caught herself on the counter top. Shakily looking at him, she smile, "See? Just fine." she hopped over to her chair and sat down, grateful to be off the foot. "Shouldn't you be resting? You were hurt worse than me." Emily tried to divert the conversation as she made a plate for herself. "I forgot to make toast, allow me to get it, and the jam." she went to stand up again. Her ankle was not having it, as it hurt when she put the slightest pressure on it

Cody looked at her as she tried to stand, but saw her in pain as he got her to sit down, "Just sit down and relax, I got it." he said as he went and made the toast the way he knew that she liked it, making him a slice of his toast as well.

Emily had to admit when he was right but no one said it had to be out loud, "Thank you." she responded to him, accepting the toast. Most of the morning went by silently, only the sounds of eating were heard. When she was done, Emily looked at the mess she had to clean up, "That was a good meal huh?"

Cody was happy to see that she was willing to listen and remain off her leg but he then nodded, "It was a good meal, but now I need to help you back to bed... you need to stay off your leg for a few days and I can clean up, don't worry about me. If I can't handle these kinds of wounds then what kind of large feline shifter would I be?" He asked kindly to her.

"I can make it back to my room just fine. Its not like I want to go rock climbing." Emily teased at him as she rose to her feet--foot. She did fell bad though about leaving the mess. Maybe she could clean up just a little, after all, she was the reason for the mess. Gathering a few dishes, Emily took them to the sink as well as threw some trash away. "I'm going to get a bath. Is that okay with the nurse?" asking playfully

Cody laughed as she said that, he was still worried about her so he would keep an eye on her but smiled, "Enjoy your bath then." He said kindly as he would begin to clean up the kitchen, not having any problem with cleaning up for her since it wasn't that big of an issue.

Emily giggled as she left and went into the bathroom. Starting up the water, she made sure it was the right temp before plugging it up and adding bubbles. It might have looked childish, but she didn't care. When the level was right, she turned off the water and climbed in, relaxing

Cody looked at her as she giggled but he was happy to just have her in his life but then thinking about how she told him about the vision she told him about how they would have children together and thinking over that made him smile and feel okay with it.

Emily was in the tub for at least 20 minutes. Her skin was getting all wrinkly and the water was getting colder. She unplugged the tub, got out, and dried herself off. Wrapping the towel around herself she left the bathroom to go into her room where she got dressed in a t shirt and pajama pants

Cody soon went to check on her when he found her in her pajamas but he smiled, "Did you enjoy your bath?" He asked curiously to her, wondering how she liked it.

"I enjoyed it quite well, thank you." yea she would have liked it better if he joined her, but that was her secret, "Do you want to watch another movie or do you have to go to work?" Emily tried to make the puppy dogs eyes at him so he would stay but if he had to work then he should go
