Cody looked at her when she spoke about giving her Lapras a break but as she spoke about the ferry having trainers on it, he nodded, "If they want to battle then sure, I wouldn't decline." he stated thinking that he wasn't one to back down from a challenge.

"Great, I'm just going to go sit down over there." Hizumi went and sat down on a bench that was next to the edge of the boat. A guy was already sitting there. He looked over at her and smiled while looking at her belly, "Congrats." she looked up at him and nodded, "Thank you. My name is HIzumi and this guy over here is Cody." she made sure to take his hand in hers "Nice to meet you. My name is Stan. I'm travelling to Mossdeep City to challenge the gym leader."

Cody was nearby, standing by Hizumi when she spoke but he nodded, "Pleasure to meet you Stan, we are doing the same as I am trying to beat the gym leaders as well." He stated thinking that this guy must have been a good trainer, he seemed like it.

"Well then best of luck to you. You do know its a double battle right? Man those things are tough." Stan stood up, looking cheerful, "But I need to beat them." "Don't worry, you will do great, and so will my Cody." she stood up and gave him a kiss. "Care for a practice battle?" Stan asked

Cody looked at him when he spoke but Cody smiled, "Yeah well I am fine with that, I have a winning pair for the double battle." He said as he looked at him, "I guess a practice battle would be all that bad." He said kindly thinking that it would be an interesting to have a sparring match.

"Thats great. And we can keep it minimal. This ferry isn't all that big." Stan took out some pokeballs, "Go Primeape and Politoad!" "Lets spar!"

Cody looked at him but nodded as he saw what the guy threw out but nodded, "Go Ninetails and Bayleef" He said as he had bayleef use razor leaf on politoad and ninetails used flamethrower at Primeape.

Stan had Politoad jumped up on Primeape, "Politoad, use Protect! Primeape, use Focus Energy!"

Cody watched as he had Politoad used protect to allow primeape to use focus energy. Cody smirked, "Bayleef, charge up solar beam! Ninetails, use sunny day." he said as Bayleef began to charge up her leaves' as Ninetails made it sunnier, Bayleef's glow grew as the solar beam charged faster and stronger.

Stan smirked, "That's okay, Politoed use Blizzard! Primeape use Stone edge!" [I was about to have Primeape use Earthquake, but then I remembered that they were on a boat xD That wouldn't have been a good move! Maybe if they were on land!]

Cody acted quick as he watched the pokemon, "Ninetails, use flame thrower!" He said as Bayleef fully charged its solar beam which it aimed at Primeape's stone edge attack while Ninetail's flame thrower, which was buffed up in power thanks to sunny day's effect on fire type moves. It hit the blizzard attack allowing it to be fizzled out.

Just as Stan was about to make another move, one of the Ferry attendants came in and stopped them, "Hey you can't be battling on this boat! Its too dangerous! Stan rubbed the back of his head, "Oh sorry man. We'll stop, no problem." The attendant ran off. Stan recalled his pokemon, "Rematch when we get to the City?" he called out as she walked up to him Hizumi got up and walked over to Cody. She gave him a big kiss, "You were going to win, I just know it."

Cody looked at the attendant but soon recalled his pokemon. He nodded to the trainer, happy to think about a rematch back on land but Cody then looked at Hizumi, kissing her back but smiled, "I know, but their is the rematch." He said happily as he thought over how fun the match was starting to get.

HIzumi kissed him before returning back to the bench. Her feet were already killing her, and it wasn't even noon yet! If this was what it was like now, she couldn't imagine what it will be like when she was 9 months preggers. She dug in her bag and took out a bag of chips to start munching on them. Stan recalled his pokemon, "Your pokemon are tough, the gym leaders will have trouble letting go one of their badges." he clapped the guy on the shoulder and leaned in to him, "You have a beautiful wife."

Cody gently smiled to her when he walked over and joined her at the bench. He saw that she got out a bag of chips and figured that she was hungry. When the trainer came up to them, he nodded, "I agree the same for you about the badges... And she isn't my wife but when we go to settle down, I hope to make it so." He said softly as he looked at her.
