In all honesty Poke had not been trying to pick a fight with Riyo, but somehow it was easy for her to piss the bakeneko off even when she wasn't intending too. Sigh.

With the interruption of the little cat boil she at least had something else to focus on, but before she could lay a smack down on the scareling Riyo stopped her.

Though it was very hard not to say anything more as Li Shou seemed just as intent on Lou on poking both of them until they snapped. Though Lou was more obnoxious, were as this scareling was just bratty.

"Ooo, wyrm breaths, how long did it take you to think that one up?" She sneered back, before looking back at Tanvir who was...smelling his hand.

...Was he really that concerned about it?

When Li Shou tried his dreaded "kitty pout" Poke didn't look phased in the slightest. He had just called Riyo wrench again, and Poke knew there was no way the ghoul would be bothered dating such a pain in the a**. Riyo was far to classy for him.

Besides, it was hard to concentrate on that when she could see a gnome was flashing Tanvir his...minipets.

While Astra was too busy crying, Jim had spotted the ghost boil amongst the crowd, obviously looking for his original date. Since the fae was clearly to distraught to talk to him just yet, he tugged on her arm as they both jumped off their seats to hide under the table.

It wasn't going to be that easy to find them.

Jiten tugged at his tie uncomfortably, aware of the glances that were sent his way. But Jaja was his sister-- although he was still fixing his charred room part-- and unfortunately, they met her in the worst way possible. But in the scenarios he imagined, there was no good scenario. Stepping back further, he couldn't help but sigh.

A nice chat, huh?

"Yes, I met her as a graduate and this dance is for alumnis and students."

He gestured around.

"Do me a favor and stop assuming. She's here to greet all of the other alumnis here and that's her friend, who has a very beautiful ghoulfriend. Also, there are no league for friends." Jiten firmly stated, pulling Jalaja into a brief half-hug. "Now, enjoy this dance. That's what you're here for, not to be grumpy. You can be grumpy tomorrow. You even have this.. thing?"

He pointed to the minipet with a skeptical glance.

Sibyl slowly turned her head to stare wide-eyed at Gabby. "Stop making a mess?" She whispered, clearly shocked and disgusted that anyone would ever say such a thing. How was ice a mess? Ice was the complete opposite of a mess. Ice was beautiful, it was shiny, it was slippery and smooth, it was versatile. It was perfection. How could anyone call it a mess.

But then his smile turned..weird. It was kind of scary. Sibyl blinked. What. What! Why?! "Tell me! Tellmetellmetellmeeeeee!" Sibyl bounced in place, pouting up at her best friend. "If I go check it out you have to come with me."

Taryn Frostfangleton, a sly little demon who wasn't enrolled yet, but wanted in on the festivities of Amityville High, came sauntering into the gymnasium dressed in a pirate outfit, like he was going to a masquerade or something. Was he a party crasher? Yes and no. Yes, because he wasn't invited by anyone who went to this school. No, because his parents had gotten permission for him to go, since he'd soon be attending school, and they'd insisted he'd be allowed to go and meet the students, etc. In short, Taryn was a bit of a brat who was used to getting things his way. He was also highly confident and seemed like a snob sometimes, but he was actually pretty nice when you got to know him, and he liked to have fun and be silly.

Taryn was brought into the room, his esteemed parents departing there at the doors and going home, telling Taryn to behave himself like a "good" demon. Taryn replied, "Oh, I will...I will....", with a little toothy smirk on his face. Was he up to no good? We'd just have to see. First things first...good food smell! He walked over to the table and examined the food. He took one of the pink drinks and one of the pies with a boy's limb hanging out of it. Yummy! He looked around at the students as he ate and drank, wondering when someone might notice something off....like for example, how there was someone who wasn't a student here, in a ridiculous pirate costume, eating pie and drinkin strawberry-blood juice.

"I think your definition of lady is still lacking." She stuck her tongue out at him in a tease. "CLEARLY MOT!" She then lowered her voice to the usual Hel level. "I am the best lady you will ever know." Haughty was her tone as she then grinned at him, following his movements into the dance.

"So what would you like to do once you are a fully fledged Grim, huh?"

Hel stopped dancing and stared up at Mot with a serious look. She took his hand between both of her own. "Do not kid me now, Mot." She continued to stare up at him.

"Are you truly planning class domination?"

Mot laughed airily. "No, no. I don't want to dominate anything! I just want to be the best!"

Erebus wasn't quite convinced with Lutz's protests, because he clearly remembered the last time the boil had denied something.

Thankfully for Lutz, Anna's words confirmed the truth. And yet, he was still not fully convinced, because hey, they could very well be a work in progress.

He waved, a small grin tugging at the side of his mouth. "Have fun, you two!"

"That was cute." He said cheerfully to Lock.
