"Yamato! I challenge you!!" Kyuzo tried to dash passed the JPs agents as he knocked several phones to the ground, but when he neared the Chief, Makoto stepped in front of him. He thought his persuasion would convince her to step aside...it looked like that wouldn't be the case though. "I don't want to fight you, but...I'll do what I have to, because he's wrong! His dream will hurt too many people! He's got blood on his hands already..." Sako's demon lashed out at him, but Kyuzo quickly deflected the attack with his katana. The beast went skidding to the right as Kyuzo took a few quick steps to the left, spacing himself from his opponents. He held up his phone and his demon appeared, accepting the challenge. If he had to fight his friends, he regretted it...but he would do it, no matter what.

Makoto Sako
"...I owe JPs a debt I can never repay..."



"Rikkio..." Demons began to appear as Makoto prepared to defend herself. She knew that Rikkio had a good reason for wanting to face the Chief, and she couldn't honestly say that he didn't deserve to. She was fighting without her heart being in it, but when she thought about where she'd be without the Chief, a guilt weighed on her heart that she couldn't shake if she walked away now. Was JPs doing the right thing? She wasn't sure that the Chief's vision was really what was best for humanity, but if she betrayed him, she could never live with herself. "...I understand. Lets begin."

Yamato Hotsuin
"...I never expected anything of trash in the first place..."



"Silence you scum! I don't care what a yapping dog has to say. If you want my attention, then perhaps you should have served me, pathetic fool." Yamato stood from his throne, folded his arms as his Cerberus stood beside him. He was staring down his nose at Kyuzo, whose name he likely didn't even recall. "You are a cancer of this world! I'm doing humanity a favor by removing you. The pathetic dregs of society have no place in the world to come! Clinging to the strong, begging for handouts...that is what caused this world to stagnate. Sapporo's sacrifice was necessary for my victory! I'd do it again without hesitation!" Yamato raised his phone to summoned his demons while his signature Cerberus sprinted forward and lashed out with claws and fangs at Kyuzo. The fight was on.

...demons lay on either side as Yamato deflected another slash, backpedaling. Blood trickled over his eye as he raised his phone to summon a new creature, only to have it knocked to the side by the very tip of Kyuzo's sword as he continued to sprint forward, forcing Yamato into close quarters again and again. "Tch, you diseased rat! You think your naive ideals will carry you forward? Your kind are only styming humanity's potenti-agh!" Yamato stepped forward to strike Kyuzo, only for the brown haired Sapporoan to use his short uchigatana to lash inwards quickly, cutting the inner elbow of Yamato's arm. As soon as his limb went limp he attempted to take a step back and recover, throwing a knee, only for a hilt to smash into his leg to match the force, while the other blood dealt a number of quick and thin blows to his other arm. In a second his body was being disabled. How!? He had the Dragon Stream on his side! But the furious attacks continued, knicking arms, cutting legs, disabling him as slowly and as furiously as possible. Kyuzo wasn't getting tired...he was getting faster! And even with the Dragon Stream Yamato couldn't keep up. "I wonnnnn't loooseeee! AggggghH!" Yamato threw himself forward, teeth digging into Kyuzo's neck.

And then, he felt a sharp pain in the side of his neck. His eyes flashed open, even as his vision began to fade. He knew he'd just been struck too hard...in a few seconds, he would lose. His dreams were vanishing right before him..."N...no..." Was this the end of his world? If so, he hoped the blackness would embrace him forever...to avoid living with this shame.
