"CHASEEEEEEEER!" Lira howled as she jumped off of a roof, scythe spinning around and slamming into a spore that had been about to blast Saito apart. It went shooting towards the ground, where another person was just walking out of an alley... and the boy there blinked for a moment before whirling around and PUNCHING the spore. She cut through demon after demon, flipping out her phone when she started to get close, and see some Spores drifting down on a weary looking swordsman.
"Masakado! Help him!" she called, as the larger than life, yet legendary protector of Tokyo emerged from the Magnetite, sweeping Saitou off of his feet, and carrying him to [Relative] safety.
She stood at the ready herself, about to cut through even more demons if it was necessary, intent on sealing the escape route for the endangered individual.

Saitou sheathed his sword and covered his face for a moment as he tried to swallow the idiocy he'd almost walked right into. They may have saved his life for all he knew. And that meant he needed to repay them somehow? But how...? How could he repay these girls for all they've done. And that's when it hit him...a wave of power that he hadn't felt before, as he was unknowingly possessed by a well known god of Love who everyone was searching for. The feeling was too subtle at first for him to notice, and he merely sighed as he pulled his shirt off, using it as a makeshift towel to remove the sweat from his lean body. "Allow me to make it up to both of you. Lira, especially, thank you for coming to my rescue. Not just here, either. Without you, I..." Saitou stepped closer, letting his shirt fall to the wayside as he raised a hand to cup her chin, his voice lowering a bit seductive as he...he... ...gawddamnit he was being possessed by a demon, wasn't he? He seemed calm enough, but inwardly he felt that avoiding Lira after that debacle with Kama just now was absolutely necessary if he wanted to keep his head on his shoulders. Besides, he wanted to know that he'd truly put an end to the stream of demons in this area, and if not he'd eliminate the source of the problem to prevent future battles. Lira probably didn't want to accompany him anyway, so leaving in a hurry was...it was for the best, okay? "At JPs HQ! Try to get the whole group together, so we can all relax for a change. ...no need to invite Mashiba though, wherever he is." Saitou had little idea that Haruto was doing his own thing elsewhere in the city at the moment, but he hoped that he'd turn up for the team's get together this evening, assuming he was still fine. Though Saitou doubted that Mashiba was in serious danger; if there was one person on their team he could rely on to take care of himself (and only himself), it was that jerk. Saitou was checking on the shelter now, and it seemed like it had sustained a bit of damage, but was otherwise safe after his previous battle. That's when he heard a crash nearby however, as an Alioth spore smashed through the roof of a building, and Saitou quickly grabbed a spear from the JPs guard nearby. "The main body must be gone already...that means you'll be easy prey. You made a mistake coming here, while I was present." This was more than a mere intervention on the behalf of the town's people. This was also revenge, for what he'd gone through back there, making others suffer and worry while he was almost a goner due to the Septentriones hovering overhead. If he could dish out a bit of revenge by carving up it's Spores, then that would be just as satisfying. But this was a mere morsel before the banquet of his revenge... Quote: Saitou defeats a Spore.
