xxxAs she finished pocketing her new items, Emeline slowly shook her head and smiled good-humoredly at Meringue's cautiousness. Scone endured his curiosity without flinching in the slightest. His smooth, metallic body greatly resembled a statue in his sedentary state, which perturbed Meringue all the more. 'You missed it.' Cobbler slouched against the back of her head, his tone icy. Emeline reached back and placed a comforting hand on Cobbler's back, "I'm sorry little one." She cooed quietly, "I promise I'll look next time, okay?" Completely lost in her own little world, Emeline was not anticipating to hear her guide address her. She looked up at him, slightly startled, "Oh!" Her eyes swept over the two pokéballs in front of him before she looked to her new Skarmory and her expression softened. "Oh, that. Yes, well..." Emeline chuckled quietly and turned back to the stranger across the table, "That is my brand new 'Pidgey,' courtesy of my grandmother." She rolled her eyes and laughed quietly before reaching for her Pikachu 3DS XL.
xxxThe 3DS hinges clicked quietly as it opened, locking in an open position. Emeline excitedly pressed the power button near the bottom of the device and waited anxiously for it to load. The moment it completed the load, she quickly scrolled over to check her streetpasses. She'd been trying to finish all the jigsaw puzzles for a while now, but there were always so many to complete! Emeline smiled demurely as she scrolled through the people she'd streetpassed with, however, one name wasn't your standard "Jack" or "Jill." Emeline curiously murmured aloud, "derpfaecmc-- oh my." She slightly grimaced as the name derpfaecmcfcuk found its way on her screen. She silently wondered who in their right mind would set their streetpass name to that, when suddenly something clicked in her mind. She looked up to her guide, doe-eyed. He had a stunning resemblance to derpfaecmcfcuk. Emeline sat there, silently holding her 3DS in her hands and staring at him with big, innocent eyes.

↳Tsubin gazed at the Skarmory, admiring the sleek, shiny form of the armored bird. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the girl's Riolu looking quite despondent after having tried so hard to get her attention. Raising an eyebrow as he looked up at it, he returned his gaze to the two capsules on the table in front of him, raising his hand to the sphere and giving its button a poke. In another flash, Yuu reappeared, shielding his eyes from the light before looking around and then up at Tsubin, curious about why he was out again. "Look behind ya, Yuu," he said with an amused smirk as he met the Riolu's stare, speaking before the young Pokemon could even start to voice his question. Yuu tilted his head before turning around, seeing the other of his kind and immediately getting excited and hopping over across the table to them, his little tail wagging.
He snorted a bit at the girl's explanation about her new companion. Of course he knew what a Pidgey looked like; his mother was still raising some from her pair of Pigeots. "That must be one iron-rich diet your grandma gave it," he said jokingly before another Pokeball popped open, releasing Hikari again. The ghostly lantern gave a soft hum to get his attention as she stared at Tsubin, seeming to ask him something. "Oh, Fire Spin? Nah, you don't have to, Hikari." Hikari nodded, hovering around him and squeezing herself into the gap between the table and her trainer's lap, forcing him to scoot back in his seat and hold onto her as she settled there. He was quite content with finally having the opportunity to finally sit and rest to get used to the lack of oceanic swaying his life in Pacifidlog Town had raised him with. He would have to give himself a few more minutes before seeing if his balance had returned though. As the thought left his mind, he felt the pair of eyes on him from across the table, and raised his head to meet the girl's gaze as he absentmindedly rubbed Hikari's "cheeks". He didn't break eye-contact for a few seconds until he blinked. "Uh... Do I have something on my face?"
He hadn't been in Oldale in so long that it seemed almost like a new place. The town was bustling with folk from all around. It was small, but since it was a town that connected to Littleroot, the little town was always seemingly overstuffed with beginner Pokémon trainers and those who wanted to start their journey in Hoenn after a long journey in another region. Either way, one was bound to meet someone there, just outside of the main town that would want to battle. And Calvin indeed found someone, or they found him would be more accurate. So, he gladly accepted the invite to battle the young boy that challenged him. He did silently wonder if this kid somehow had a legendary Pokémon too. Calvin was not going to rule that out until he confirmed that he didn't.
Calvin lined up, ready to battle the young boy opposite of him. Calvin sent out Sauron first to test the waters. Plus, Sauron needed a battle pretty much daily to please his insatiable desire to get stronger.

Result: Sauron is victorious in a landslide victory(no pun-intended) against an Omastar that is weak to ground type moves because of its rock typing. Gible is the victor of the round and gains 7 exp. The opponent sends in Cascoon and Calvin decides to keep Sauron in for the battle.
vs 2nd round: Level 14 Gible (140 HP) vs lv. 8 Cascoon (80 HP)
Calvin: "Sauron, use Dragon Rage!" ~ (Cascoon's HP 30/80) Archibald: "Cascoon, use Poison Sting! Sauron is poisoned!" ~ (Sauron's HP(after poison effect) 116/140) Calvin: "Sauron, use Tackle!" ~ (Cascoon's HP 0/80)
Result: Calvin's Gible defeats both Pokémon the young trainer had to offer. But a Poison attack that the opponent's Cascoon learned during its Wurmple stages poisoned Sauron and did extra damage after its turn because of it. But Sauron fought through the Poisoning and ended Cascoon with the move Tackle. Sauron wins yet another round, gaining 7 exp, and gaining a total of 14 exp over the battle. Calvin wins the match!
Calvin won yet another battle, this time facing another rare Pokémon in Omastar, a Pokémon whose numbers were dwindling. It was a Pokémon who ten years ago was thought to be extinct as well so it was nice getting to record the Pokémon on his dex. Calvin approached his opponent and gave a firm handshake with his right hand, which just happened to be the only hand he could shake someone's with given his extensive injuries. When the two parted, Calvin decided to rush to the Pokémon center because of Sauron's poisoning. Sauron's injuries became priority because he still gets hurt after battle as well.
Other than the poisoning, Calvin was proud of his Pokémon, the little guy completely sweeping the young boy's team with relative ease. He did hope that there were not many after effects of his use of earthquake. They weren't quite in the city so maybe no one noticed. Who was he kidding? Of course someone had to notice the powerful move. They were probably used to it by now at least. The last thing Calvin wanted was angry townsmen with pitchforks, which is why he didn't use the attack during his time at Petalburg.

As he ran toward the Pokémon center, he noticed many people pass him, most likely to try and find out why the earth had just started shaking the way it did. Fortunately for him, he was far from the earthquake's origin and anyone passing by asking if he knew what happened were met with a shrug of the shoulders. Calvin had no idea that he could cause so much stir in a city just because of one move. He certainly knew he would be more selective when he wanted to use it, that was for sure.
Rushing into the Pokémon Center, he handed the Pokéball that contained Sauron to Nurse Joy, who happily took it along with her ever faithful Chansey. During the wait, the three of them walked to the Pokémart to purchase food for his Pokémon. As he walked in, he noticed a few people talking about the quake that had just occured. "Wow, you called quite the stir in the town. I just think these trainers aren't used to such a powerful quake at such beginning stage. After all, not many Pokémon learn that move young," Ryujin reached out to him telepathically with a slight shake of the head. All Calvin could do was nod his head along because if he said anything about it, most people would say he was the source of the quake.
'I'm just happy that Sauron is getting more Powerful. I foresee a bright future for him,' Calvin responded by thought, making sure Ryujin was reading them. When the three of them entered the Pokémart, the building was fortunately unscathed by the quake. A few items fell off the shelves, but the damage was exceedingly minimal. He was very happy about that because he would feel bad if that weren't the case.

After leaving the Pokémart, there was only one more thing to do before he departed for Littleroot, and that was to go get Sauron. So, after filling his bag with as much food as he can carry without having his movement hindered by the carry weight. He had to remember that he had portable tent on his back as well...so that made for a pretty hard carry. Luckily Ryujin volunteered to help lighten the load on his back by carrying a few things. It was a huge help to him, that was for sure.
As the arrived at the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy called to him upon seeing him. She told him his Pokémon was all ready to go, his poisoning completely healed. She also told him to be a little more careful, but when he explained what had happened, she understood. He gave a brief wave to her and bid his farewell. Once exiting the Pokémon Center, he exited the city en route towards Littleroot town. It wasn't too much further left until he reached the town.

Why was he noticing every trainer he walked by? Before getting Turtwig and hearing Professor Rowan's suggestion, Yuu didn't necessarily pay much attention. He noticed them, of course, but not so vividly. Before, they were just people, but now he found himself almost studying them. The occupation certainly seemed worth it just by observing the others. Then again....They weren't runaways. He had a lot more to consider and worry about.

Yuu made his way slowly through Oldale, lost mostly in thought. But, he was also making sure he didn't end up leaving Turtwig behind; now that he was rested, the leafy turtle was as actively curious as ever. Baby was even following him now, seeming to wonder why Turtwig was so fascinated with everything. She tried to get into the curious mood, too, but she'd been to Oldale more than a few times; nothing really interested her anymore. "Making friends over there, Baby?""Chi." Well, not exactly. But, at least she didn't look so irritated with Turtwig anymore.

As they neared the route to Petalburg, Yuu looked back at the two small Pokemon. "Okay. Let's get going, you two. We're almost home. We'll come back and explore Oldale again some other time." Yuu smiled a bit when Baby hurried over to claim the spot in Yuu's arms, Turtwig not even noticing as he circled the young man's feet again. "Be careful, Turtwig. I don't want to accidentally step on you." Though, his shell would protect him, wouldn't it? He'd rather not test that, of course.

Calvin arrived back in Oldale just after dusk, the cool air gently teasing his skin, but it was not nearly as difficult to deal with as it was in Petalburg but a few days ago. He was surprised it did not somehow snow...but maybe that was him just not liking the cold. But...his Pokémon found it too cold for them as well.
He decided to make camp right on the outskirts of the Town so they weren't interrupted during their meal. There was nothing worse than a Pokémon trainer coming up to them while they were eating to challenge him. And he was so hungry at that very moment that it was likely that he would punch someone in the face if they were to do it.
He called all of his Pokémon out of their balls, each of them expecting food almost immediately. They were sorely disappointed when they found out that this was not the case, but he assured them that they would be eating within twenty minutes. Each Pokémon cried out in relief and readied themselves for the incoming feast.

Calvin held true to his promise, finishing food for seven within twenty minutes like he foretold. His Pokémon were elated and so was he, each of them eating their food down faster than any meal previous to it. Calvin didn't realize just how much they were starving because if he had he would have fed them back when he was in Littleroot. They all ate quickly and before they knew it, it was time for bed.
As the moon rose to its highest point, it grew cooler and cooler, but it didn't bother Calvin. He survived the real icebox but a few days before, he could deal with this. Lupup had found her way under his sleeping bag and Ryujin had fallen asleep beside him. Ryoko and Maverick were at his feet resting while Marcella was practically resting on his head. Sauron...well, that Pokémon was off practicing his punching on the trees. Calvin told him to go to bed, but that Pokémon's insatiable desire to train didn't allow him to. But...after awhile, even Sauron found his way to the group, laying his head against Ryoka's stomach, not even bothering the motherly Pokémon.

Calvin jerked his eyes open, having thought that it was still night time. Much to his own pleasure, the lot of them had all fallen asleep. Each of them were in the same place as they were before, with the exception being Marcella, whom had fallen off Calvin's head during the night. The Pokémon looked unharmed however...so everything was alright. He got up from his sleeping bag, making sure not to awaken all of his Pokémon. He started to pack up camp so that they could cover some distance and finally get to what they've all been waiting for...Dewford Town. They still had some training to do before they took on the Dewford Town Gym, but fortunately, there were stronger Pokémon there which meant that they were more suitable for training.
It wasn't long until all of his Pokémon had awoken, Calvin calling them all back in so they could travel to Petalburg. Ryujin and Victoria stayed out of their balls like they always did, but Calvin had no problem with it. Two Pokémon were easy to keep his attention on. Six was a big problem and he knew he wouldn't have been able to make sure they were all following.
Calvin, Victoria, and Ryujin made their way down the route towards good ol' Petalburg City, the place in which they've spent way too much time in.

Yuu eventually made it to Oldale, looking curiously at the painted ball. He wondered what kind of Pokemon it was, but was a bit nervous to let it out just yet. Maybe in a little while he'd check it out, but he was content to let it sit for now. Knowing Takano, it was definitely a Ghost-type, but he said it was an odd one. That was a little unsettling. "Whatever it is, he seemed really excited to give it to me. The weirdo." Clipping the ball to his belt, Yuu knelt to pick up Yggdrasill to carry him for a bit while stroking one of his leaves softly. Baby was still floating contently through the air with her balloon, flapping her little wings to propel herself forward in small bursts. The little Chima was going to kill him with cuteness one of these days.

Ari didn't hate her physical therapy, but she would be lying if she said she liked it. At worst, she wanted to toss the device away. At best, she tolerated it. Sometimes the pain wasn't so bad, but other times it was too much. Today, however, wasn't as awful as it could be. She was moving well enough. Ari only stumbled a couple times. Why was she using the device?
