"She's GONE! They ATE her!" Kei said softly, her shoulders heaving as she sobbed to herself. "The selfish bastards ATE Mei!" She doubled over, her hands covering her face and her hat falling off. Kei was almost literally falling apart. It was all so... stressful. Who would be next? Someone else Kei had grown attached to? Maybe even Kei herself..

At Kei's outburst the tears broke free and fell silently down Amanda's face.
She'd been wrong after all.. Having thought Mei to be a cannibal. So wrong. This god forsaken island would claim them all in the end. That much she was sure of now.

Amanda walked away from Kei to hide her own tears. She must stay strong. The rescue team must be on their way. They must be coming. She MUST get off this island. She didn't want to be eaten. Seeing purple she glanced down and hurried off to the beach. Maybe she could catch a fish..

These clues were tantalising Vittay. Her mind was swimming with thoughts right now but the most prominent of them was, "WHY?". Why were they stuck here, of all places? Why did they have such unfortunate luck? Why did the cannibals choose Mei? Why?!

While walking about looking for a stick appropiate enough to stab a fish, Amanda spotted Vittay. KNowing she'd have no luck with the fish, she walked over to her. "Hey. Did you hear about Mei?"

Kei was such a small girl. And young at that. Too young to be going through something like this.
She looked through her fingers, her eyes still wet with tears, and she picked up her hammi hat. She placed it back on her head and leaned back against the tree.
"I will be strong. I will not cry anymore... I will... break that last promise."
She sighed to herself, another tear sliding down her cheek. She wiped her face with her glove, looking around now.

She spotted someone she didn't know. Curiosity killed the cat, as she used to always say. She would leave this person alone. She didn't want to get attached to anyone else... no more hurt... right?
