Geki watched as the Red Inves took on the Green and Blue. Meanwhile, his own Advanced Inves was charging towards Bravo.

The three Elementary Inves squared off. Despite the two-on-one advantage, Koji's was starting to get the upper hand It broke through Green's guard, landing several swipes. The green monster dissolved, defeated.

Geki looked down at his Himiwari Lockseed as it locked back to its dormant state.

He then looked back at the crowd, surprised to see that Rei had already arrived.

Jonouchi Ryou
Armored Rider Gridon

Ignoring the annoying quip from Kizoku, Gridon quickly manipulated the Pine Iron's chain to release Baron in such a way that while the red armored rider would still likely still be hit, the Ichigo attack wouldn't kill him.

Ryou pressed the Cutting Blade of his Sengoku Driver three times as he now channeled the all the golden energy into his now free Pine Iron to counter Gaim's attack.

|Pine Sparking| Ryou's belt declared as the Pine Iron was overlaid with a large, Pineapple energy projection of itself. Swinging it several large arches, Gridon used the first swing to nullify the strawberry projections closest to him and Kizoku while he used the other swings to target the three Beat Riders.

Even if the intruders survived and remained transformed, he figured it wouldn't be much longer until the fight was over.

Knuckle looked up at the volley of kunai that were about to descend ontop of him. In response, he struck his Cutting Blade three times.

The Rider swung into the air, launching a large energy sphere (shaped like a walnut) into the sky. It cut through a chunk of the kunai that were in Knuckles path.

Combined with the ones Gridon took out, those that remained smashed into the ground, exploding around the group. "That girl's got some strength..." Kizoku mumbled, sounding almost surprised.

He watched as Gaim saved Baron from Gridon's attack. He turned to Zangetsu, interested to see if he would survive.

Kuroki Hideyuki
Armored Rider Zangetsu

"Hiyori!" Zangetsu screamed as he watched his ally get smashed in the back by Gridon's Pine Iron as she took a hit for Baron. Realizing that the large pineapple construct was coming at him, Hideyuki caught his returning Melon Defender in time to shield himself from the brunt of the impact, but was still violently knocked to the ground.

Hideyuki felt his transformation dissolve as he gingerly push himself back up. Watching Baron surrender, Hideyuki watched the scene unfold for a few moments before he slowly made his way over Hiyori. "Hiyori, are you okay?" he asked, helping her get back up to her feet as he noticed more black troopers from before come into the room, surrounding them.

"I don't like the look of these odds," Hideyuki mumbly whispered to Hiyori under his breath. There was no way they could defeat enough of the Yggdrasil riders and make a safe getaway now, even if they were in peak condition. He waited for Baron and the other still transformed riders to make their next respective move.

"Impressive," Gridon commented to himself at the strength of the riders and their resolve to protect one another. He opened his mouth under his helm to speak further, but realizing that Kizoku was still there he remained silent as Yggdrasil Troopers started to arrive, no doubt on the order of some scared higher up.

"Undue your transformation," he commanded at Baron, wary of the red rider's true intentions after he was told that they would surrender.

Ryou kept his Pine Iron in hand as he thought about the dilemma he faced with his next command, knowing it would greatly determine how things played out from now on. He could either order them to be captured and kept at Yggdrasil or let go. Neither option seemed appealing to the brown rider, but to further his own goals the riders were worth more to him on the outside.

"Let them go," he finally ordered, "take them to the crack and throw them out." He heard several audible gasps from his men at the nature of his command, but a stern look from brown rider in their direction quickly silenced them.

Even if the Beat Riders let out what might be going on, Ryou thought, no-one would believe them at first, especially with Yggdrasil's influence. It would give Yggdrasil, and himself, time to react. He had seen enough, however, to make a decision on the nature of his plan and it was all centered on Zangetsu and Gaim.

At Gridon's command, The Yggdrasil Troopers began to encircle the three armored riders barely giving Hideyuki a chance to snatch up Hiyori's and his respective Ichigo and Melon Lockseeds.

Hideyuki kept Hiyori supported as they were escorted to the crack that they had fought so hard to get through. Hiyori moaned softly, her face covered by her long dark hair as they neared the portal. "Hiyori, hang in there okay?" Hideyuki tried to reassure his new friend and comrade, ignoring the constant prodding of the spears.

He suddenly heard a painful yelp coming from her as a Trooper had intentionally pushed on Hiyori's fresh wound. "Why you…!" Hideyuki started to say as turned to face to assailant, only receive a painful jab to his sternum for his trouble. There was nothing he could do about it, at least for now.

Raising himself back up, Hideyuki gently readjusted Hiyori and followed where the Troopers led them until they were eventually brought to an area a distance from Yggdrasil's crack. They had lost.

He watched as the Troopers leave, keeping their spears pointed at the group to make sure they weren't followed until they were out of sight.

Gridon watched with Kizoku as the riders were escorted out of Yggdrasil. He bit his tongue as he saw that a Trooper had purposely prodded Hiyori painfully in her open wound and Hideyuki's reaction to it. While he was silently appalled at the display, anything he would do now would be a sign of weakness. Weakness that he could not outwardly show to his men.

Ryou closed his Pine Lockseed as the invading riders went through the crack and disappeared from view. It was over, for now. He inwardly hoped that they recover and not give up, his plan counted on it. However only they could decide their fate.

"Let's go, Kizoku," he said, starting to turn away to the dark, safe seclusion of his office. Ryou could only imagine the higher ups and Professor Sengoku would demand to know on the reasons for his actions. He started to quickly rack his brain to try to think of reasonable excuse.

"The only that will ending is you," Hideyuki threatened back, as he turned to face the beat rider. He had enough of this man's bully-like threats. While he understood that he was telling Hideyuki to protect Hiyori there was just something about the man that infuriated the hell out of him. He knew that someday soon, he would have to face him.

He waited, glaring at Sasuke's back for a few moments before another soft moan from Hiyori brought him back to reality. Hiyori," he now said gently, "let's get you home and treat your wounds, 'kay?"

Hideyuki reached into his pocket and retrieved his own Sakura Hurricane before activating it. Carefully helping Hiyori mount the unfolded bike, he revved it to life and headed for home back to the city. He just hoped he could get her home safely in time.

Koji felt himself lighten with relief when he saw his Red Inves defeat Geki's Green one, leaving just the Blue one as Koji dealt with the Advanced Inves. "I think it's time I put an end to this farce!" And so, he used the knife of his Sengoku Driver to cut across his Lock Seed twice.

(*electric guitar riff*) DURIAN AU LAIT!

Powering up his Duri Nokos, Koji began swinging his weapons repeatedly, sending mini energy durians like bullets that cut through the Elementary Inves almost instantly. As for the Advanced Inves, it raised its arms to try and protect itself against the barrage, but it quickly found itself weakening. Koji's Inves then slashed at its back for the finishing blow.

BATTLE OVER!

A boxing ring bell rang as the digital arena disappeared. Koji then closed his Lock Seed as he greeted the crowd who cheered at his victory. "Now that's how it's done! Another win for the grooviest Beat Riders around, Team Funkytown!"
