"Ah of course. I'll pray for his and Alces safety." She nodded to confirm, but soon decided to raise her tone a little bit. "Of course. How can I help you? Have you been caught up in some of this fighting going on too. All my stuff is in my chambers so er--"
She paused for a moment, giving her tongue a quick rest.
"Um sorry! Do tell me what you thinks wrong first."

I truly hope nothing is wrong actually. We can go to your chambers if you wish. *She still wasn't quite sure she wanted to reveal things but its not easy to hide anymore. She stood up facing Ursa. It should be obvious at this point that Lilium has gained a few sizes** Its not really me I want you to check on. Its Cervus and I's child. *she rubs her belly and flashes a forced smile*

Obviously blinking a few times first, Ursa clasps her hands over her mouth and squeals, "oh my goodness, congratsulations." She offered, smiling back. "When do you think this happened? How far is the pregnancy in? Do you know?" She asked, eyeing her bulge carefully.
"-- Ahh. I've never done this sort of thing before. But theres a first time for everything?" She laughed nervously, "erm, books help, yeah..." She waited for Lilium to respond before ambushing her with more questions.

*lilium chuckled lightly at the barage of questions* Well I am not sure exactly. It came as a surprise to me as well. I was hoping you could shed a little light on things for me.

Ursa blinked slightly.
"Sure."
"But I just -- I just might need a book somehow," she giggled a bit uneasily. "I was so worked up about everything else, wounds, researching medicines, etc. I totally forgot that this would happen one day. Its come all too soon!" She giggled again, this time a bit more confidently.

I have full confidence in you Ursa. Shall we head to your quarters then? *She smiled and went to take Ursa's hand*

"Or maybe even better, take a trip to the library? I could easily grab a book there and do my assessment, there should be quills and such there I suspect. And masses of books at least." She smiled once more.
Holding the pregnant womans hand, she stood and marched straight for the library, carefully taking the long way around, avoiding standing on any of the pretty flowers.
(( Should we move the next part of the RP to the library? biggrin ))

The library would be just fine. *She allowed Ursa to lead the way doing what she could to hide her condition from passers-by. Sure it wasn't easy but she attempted to do so anyways.*
((Sure thing. YOu can start))

The fresh, wonderful air which flowed easily up Ursas nostrils satisfied her greatly. The start to the winter raw plunged down her throat, and chilled it ever so slightly. She didn't dimiss it in gulps, she rather enjoyed the sensation which clung to the back of her throat.
She admired some of the withering flowers as she past the rows and beds. She admired the new, which stood in the name of winter, big and strong. Ursa strolled, looking around intently.
But within a few moments, she'd already strayen too far off the castle with her interest. She'd never tested these boundaries before, but today, her flare for adventure flared more than ever! The ambition to escape, and go exploring just for today appealed much more than sitting in her chamber, reading and writing.
That wasen't what life was about.
But really - what was her meaning in life? Was she to help people, poorly and sick, forever? Or was she destined to rise somewhat higher? And achieve certain other ambitions? She certainly hoped.
Turning a cornering hedge, she rose her head ever so slightly. And gulped down hard. Finally dismissing the raw.

Laniger crouched unseen in the high branches, single amber eye appraising the ursine Fey, expression telling he was not impressed with what he saw yet again. Soft like the others, insensate to anything save her flowery little world.

Ursa brought her head back about, and gazed onward. Would she consider taking on this ambitious journey? The route ahead seemed to take her beyond the area she was familar with. The hedge aside her marked the end of which area she was familarized with.
Would she continue her prowl?
Half groaning, she warded a quick gaze back to the castle, and another to the path onward. "Mrmm..."

The elder Fey leaned forward now, finding something of interest at last....or at least another opportunity to mock. Would the cub take that step? Or would she shake her pretty head and retreat to hibernate among the rest of the worthless court? He suspected the latter.
The true Sleepers are those fools.
The dark image of Spina flashed through his mind like one of his arrows flown. He shook it away with a grunt of annoyance.

Ursa stood still. She felt someones presence daunt. And the grunt which followed only confirmed. She'd have to abandon plan-'prowl' for now. The bear Fey swirled around at her heels, and looked around.
"Hello?" She asked, slowly. "Is anyone there?"
She chuckled lightly. "Come out, come out, wherever you areee." Her eyes darted around with insane speed, from corner to corner. She resisted moving.
"Ahhh, I see." She nodded down at herself a little.
