He hadn't been paying attention to anything going on with his General King and Wolframite, his attention was elsewhere as it needed to be. He looked to the unconscious senshi in Remarque's hold and he nodded his head.

"He can answer your question later Acrucis. It seems we must get one of his court to a hospital...and then speak and tend to wounds." They could do both, or perhaps one thing and than the other - however the other blond wanted to tackle things. He would not complain one way or the other, it wasn't a member of his court who was injured and in such need of medical attention.

"Don't loosen your grip, on either of us, no matter what Remarque. I don't know what would happen if you lost your grip.." He spoke gently as he kept a tight hold on Acrucis; while being held onto by the taller blond.

"We will talk later, indeed Remarque. For now though I am getting us out of here." Looking around to see people scattering and helping others out. He hoped everyone on his side, everyone chaos aligned, got out of here before this thing went completely up in flames or blew up. Some may have been on what he considered the wrong side, the ones with masks he decided, but they were still Negaverse officers and they were still cared for by the blond - whether they knew it or not.

"I fear we have much to discuss when we are safe from here Remarque." He wasn't sure he could do this, taking a dark mirror senshi much less two. He'd never tried to teleport one of them...would it be different though? He knew he could teleport a white moon senshi. He had also never taken three people with him. He was confident he could do it, he had to be as fear couldn't be allowed to break his focus, but he knew it would drain him - surely it would be a big drain on his energy but how much? Biting his lip he had to shake away, push away, the negative doubting thoughts. He had to call to the front all the confidence he had in himself, in the power he had, and then he glanced to Valhalla.

he'd tried to kill him once, and he'd try again if given the chance, but it seemed that right now this senshi wasn't on bad terms with Remarque. He really didn't care for those who followed and supported the white moon, save for the senshi he held to himself, and yet in a split second the words were blurted out. "if you want to get out of here then take hold of me." There was no reason for the knight to trust him, more reason not to really, but the words had poured forth without any thought aside from the fact Remarque was on some sort of good terms and planned a future discussion with this knight - so they needed to live. Four people and himself...if he did it the drain on him would be immense and he knew it. He knew he was digging himself a hole and was risking putting himself in a very vulnerable position.

Now it was the knights turn to answer before the opportunity slipped away and the General left with the three - he wouldn't wait long.

Return he did, and he’d brought a gift for those whom had been besieged by the errant officers. He marched through the open doors into the inferno as though he had come ‘home’ to rule over this combusting death trap of sawdust and every other flammable substance that such aged buildings seem to draw to them.

“I have brought mirrors.” He declared… through those doors, take your people and go… I’ll send whatever medical assistance I can as I gather it.”

He kept walking; even as he spoke he gave up after a matter of moments trying to keep the fire from trying to take hold of his coat. It ate away at the tails of the thick, heavy fabric leaving it moth bitten with each swat to put out the errant flames and sparks.

“Leto is somewhere safe, one of your own, and one of my corrupted are both with her.”

He moved inexorably towards Wolframite, where he bent and took hold of the black coat and lifted the man with ease.

“You aren’t dying tonight Wolframite, no matter how you may wish it”
He carried you then with a surprising gentleness, though his voice held the tone that suggested something had…died.

“Come… you, your fellow renegades and I… have so much to discuss.”

All Negaverse members opposing the DMC have been teleported out by Zinkenite.

The General-King has provided mirrors for the DMC outside the factory. The sawdust makes using the mirrors difficult but you can still make it through with some patience and focus.

Everyone else is advised to get out before they turn into burnt crisps.

Chariklo out!

Chariklo hadn't expected the General King yo do more than he already had. But to see him so cooly stalk the other officer... see the form his brand (no pun intended) took. Ugh. She was quite happy to have him on their side. Turning her face so she wouldn't have too see someone being burned, she decided to focus instead on stroking Leto's hair. Looking over the top of Leto's head, she offered the green haired girl a wan smile.

"So I'm Chariklo and after this, I feel like I should be sending you roses or a nice fruit basket or something."

She wanted to say more, but the General King was returning and scooping Leto up. Chariklo wanted to protest. A lot. But that would have been churlish under the circumstances. Instead, she held her tongue, grabbed a bit of his coat as ordered and decided to trust that he would come back to help the others.

Really, it was all she could do.

Athene nodded "You should be careful too Azurite" for a brief moment hesitated and then as he heard the corrupt senshi cough he tugged his long under-sash from his waist, ripped it in two before pushing the half the sheer fabric towards her. "For the smoke" he said simply as he wrapped the other half round his mouth and then he was turning and moving as he tried to make his way out of the warehouse whilst doing his best to keep an eye out for anyone downed and unable to make it out on their own.

His eyes were stinging something fierce from all the smoke when he finally found his way out and he took a few moments to unwrap the sash from round his mouth and greedily gulp in the night time air before moving to put some distance between himself and the warehouse.

He was some way away before he realised that his senshi phone had messages from Ida and Tsui and Athene stopped to tap a response, the message quick and to the point.

Falias looked visibly startled as a piece of fabric was pushed in his direction. He understood the reasoning - the thick and acrid smoke that got in the eyes and stuck in his throat made it more than obvious what the thing's purpose was for, but he couldn't understand the why - after all they'd been fighting and by fighting read that he'd attacked the pink-haired senshi and not that long ago either which meant that she was purposefully within her rights to have just upped and left him.

But with flames licking around the warehouse now was the time for action over questions and so Falias pressed the fabric over his mouth and stumbled after the senshi. And then they were outside, via a hole in the side of the warehouse and outside air had never felt so good but with the fire licking through the warehouse it wouldn't be safe to remain here long.

Green eyes looked startled at the Dark Mirror Super's, no make that Amytis' offer - some would have said that helping him out the warehouse was more than enough and yet still she was offering to help?

Or maybe it some sort of trick and she was holding out for revenge - although that made no sense either given that she could have easily just left him in the warehouse. He took a chance and followed her, "I'm Falias" he said at last as he took a chance and followed her. "And thank you, I promise that there'll be no tricks on my end either."

And he meant it to, after all providing that Amytis had meant what she said and he did indeed get out of here in one piece then Falias would be left with things to think on - a lot of things to think on.

Liryn didn't like how quickly the fire seemed to spreading as it licked along all the scattered sawdust but still he pressed against the cat girl mauvian as he coughed over the acrid smoke in his lungs and told her, his voice loud enough to be heard by any in the direct vicinity "We need to get out and now."

He pressed against the cat girl again, his intention was to nudge her into moving sure that between the two of them they could find an exit out. Liryn had no intention of leaving his fellow Order cat but he very much wanted to leave this place and leave it now.

---------------------

When finally outside in the night air outside the warehouse, Liryn gulped in air - thankful for having spotted the hole in the side of the warehouse when he had. He didn't stay where he was too long, just long enough to cough and gulp in some air and then he was trotting to put distance between himself and the burning warehouse.

[Exit Amytis]

Amytis flashed the Knight a smile, and then she grabbed his hands and pulled him over to one of the mirrors Zinkenite had brought. Thnak God, really, for the General-King';s arrival - he hadn't just saved Leto, he'd saved everyone from WP and his mad vendetta. If it weren't for the escape routes they were being given, everyone, Negaverse, Senshi, Knights, and Dark Mirror alike, would have gone up in flames.

She would have to find Chariklo as soon as she could, but right now all she wanted was to make sure that she and Falias got out alive. It took her longer than it otherwise might to get them both through the mirror with all the sawdust, but she did it - and got them out the other side in a quiet park, far from the warehouse burning to the ground.

She left, then, back through the mirror and to her apartment. Let everyone else sift through the rubble, she just wanted to sleep.

[Exit - Bischofite]

The strike to his back peeled the air from his lungs, stunning him temporarily as inertia forced him forward at a velocity still considered admirable at his rank. In that moment, his mind caught up with him - she struck him, as she did before. As she always would when pressed so far. Strange, though; she forced him into the crowd. She-

Impact was brief, brutal and bone-breaking. Initially his body crashed into the page whom he noticed not long ago, and even together his inertia carried them both. The floor struck soon afterward, facilitating more beatings and bruisings as the two tumbled atop one another. Finally they drew to a stop, Bischofite fully separated from the page now, and he lay on his back as his addled gaze searched the rafters. Overall they swayed, oscillated even, but over time his former perch settled into a stationary position. Only when he was certain that he wasn't terribly concussed, riddled with nausea or utter confusion, did he finally try to sit up.

And as soon as he placed pressure on his injured wrist, a snapping sound stood the harbinger of immobilizing, familiar pain.

Without even a wit to suppress his reaction, Bischofite loosed a strained scream from the dizzying spike of agony that assailed his arm. Biting his tongue to blood, he mitigated his reaction to ragged groans as he forced himself to his feet. His sudden departure from the ground must've battered the splint into nothingness, and furthermore bruised the healing bone to the point of brittleness. To snap in such a manner... Shutting his eye for but a moment, Bischofite tried not to look at it.

First he smelled it. Then the heat accosted his face. And when he opened his eyes, fire slowly licked across the floor as the piles of sawdust caught beneath flames. Another unsettling seethe of memories crawled beneath his skin, threatening to bubble and pop his skin as it had many months ago. So fire accosts me again... It seems my fate is to burn to death, whether physically or spiritually. I meant to die here, yet no one has claimed my life. What better than the sheer force of nature to draw my stunted, writhing span of pointlessness to a close? After all, I can't possibly redact that note now.

A thin smile formed on his face, marred by the pain threatening to eke through the cracks. Slowly the general backed to the wall, eyes focusing on the growing span of fire as the majority of of seasoned fighters fled the greater menace.

So he would stay.

She'd expected him to catch up to her. She hadn't expected her to slam him to and send both of them flying. Andronicus hit the floor first (or she expected so, being in front of him) with a sickening crunch. She rolled and tumbled, entangled with the General for a few rash seconds before he split from her. She came to a stop on her stomach, left arm caught underneath her. Her ears rung and the world spun and she did not move at first.

Sensation came back into her body, screaming in left elbow and arm first. The world went white and she tried to curl in on herself. It was then her ankle flared and she realized it was not connected as it should be. She stared down at the appendage and saw the bones out of her ankle out of place. It didn't even quite register that it was broken, or dislocated. The pain sent shooting pain through her leg and brought tears to her eyes.

Was this worth it? Was this what the damn war was about?! Andronicus gave a shaky sob of pain, her entire body shaking. She painfully rolled to her good side and pushed herself into something like a sitting position.

The sweet smell of woodsmoke came to her nose.

Wait.

Woodsmoke?!

Around her the warehouse caught fire and burned, the sawdust easy fuel for it. Shitshitshitshitshitshitshit. She was a sitting duck now. She moved across the floor, away from the largest of the flames, and despierately wished she could mirror walk like the Dark Mirror. Or teleport. She eventually found some place to hoist herself up, that burned her hand as she did. Andronicus didn't care. She gritted her teeth, and shoved her left foot down until it had something looking like a normal ankle.

This.

This was gruesome.

She let out a muffled scream as she put weight on it and then stumbled to the nearest door and out of it, coughing. She only hoped the senshi from earlier got out too.

[EXIT]

He watched Europa call to the troops, and he wondered how many now would even listen to her. Wolframite had commanded his side as best he could, and he knew he would have lost all respect in their eyes. He only could wonder how Europa would be treated due to her leadership in the operation. They had tag-teamed against Leto, succeeded, but ultimately failed. No one was ever remembered for trying. They were remembered for the results, and they had no good ones to write home again.

Home.

He gritted his teeth, thinking about Leto’s threat. She had threatened Bismuthtie, and he felt his insides twist and turn more painfully than just his own failure in his operation and the risks that came with no rewards. He still remembered the feeling of her starseed against his lips.

Just one bite away and things would have been different.

When Europa ran, he looked up to see her figure race off, dancing in the flames towards the light of the open doors. Smoke was flooding the place, and he could hear the crash of the glass from the windows shattering from the heat, and the groan of metal expanding to the heat.

On his knees, he held his side, one arm lying in his lap, broken and burned. The red burn was already swelling and a vicious red all around. It still had that smell.

Leaning in, he curled down and let his head hand long.

He didn’t need to see that Zink returned as promised. He felt him, and heard his footfalls among the chaos and noise in the factory. He was lifted, yanked from his resting spot, before he was carried up and oddly carried , arms against his back as if to be gentle from the wounds Zink himself inflicted. He did not rest against him. He did not look up at him. He simply looked down at the burned hand and remained silent.

For the first time ever, he wished he was blind in both eyes.

And in that moment, he felt the pull and was teleported away.

Screams of a dying woman had his heart stop, and he tried seeing what was going on through the fighting and chaos, but it was impossible. “What the hell,” he breathed, his face blanching as his heart started again, pounding now in his chest.

There wasn’t much he could do for the apparently delirious senshi, but Remarque seemed to have a handle on him. He was already covered in blood and made his stomach churn uncomfortably. And then Benitoite approached and even went so far as to offer him escape, and while it wasn’t a matter of trusting him not to kill him (Valhalla doubted Remarque would let him, or at least he hoped), he shook his head.

“You’ll use too much energy. Get them out,” he said with a nod, stepping away from them so Benitoite wouldn’t try to grab him anyway. “I’ll help the others and then I’ll get out,” he promised, more to Remarque than the others.

The first thing he did was search for Ganymede, but she either already left, or she was not in eyesight. Hopefully she would have known to get out by now, as the smoke was rising quickly to the ceiling, and the flames were close behind.

A large aura caught his attention next. Not the dying one of a powerful DMS, but one of similar power in the Negaverse — an aura he’d felt before. “Zinkenite!” he called over the crackling of the growing flames, taking a moment to quickly unlatch the cape from around his neck as the flames threatened to eat at the fabric. “Is this the only mirror? That’s fine if it is, I just want people to know where to go,” he said, trying to contain the panic in his voice. He wished there was a time to ask the General-King what had happened, but Zink looked like him — only recently coming on to the scene.

“I’ll check that corner and the rafters. There might be some still up there. If the smoke rose before they could get down, they might be stuck,” he said over the crackling of the flames eating at everything around them, gesturing to a DMS towards the mirror.

Unfortunately, it would not be as simple for senshi and knights to escape, as they could neither teleport, nor mirror walk.

The yelling and sudden smoke drew his attention just long enough for Benitoite to make his leave, taking the senshi with him. “Your funeral,” he hissed lowly as the senshi allowed herself to be pulled away. Then again, for all he knew, he just tried to protect a murderer like the General.

He could see the fallen senshi’s form out of the corner of his eye, but made no move to try and help her or see who she was. It was too late and she must have known the risk as she was willing to be there and try to help take down the DMC. Still, even with everything happening, he doubted any of these children knew the consequences of their actions. They were never trained to know, and this war seemed so pointless that he was pretty sure they never would.

“Let’s get out of here,” he grunted as he spotted Ganymede and approached her. Fire was not his prefered way to die. He had not seen if his brother had ever shown up, but Valhalla was a big boy and could take care of himself. Ganymede on the other hand…

Sessrumnir moved towards her, grabbing her around her waist and hoisting her up over his shoulder, figuring she would put up a fuss about trying to leave. Over his shoulder there was a Page floundering around, not knowing what to do. Sessrumnir grabbed him by the collar and shoved him out in front of him.

“Kallichore, grab who you can and get out,” he called to her over the growing flames. The others seemed to be retreating, and as for what went down between Wolframite, Europa and Leto… only time would tell.

With the knights response given the blond nodded his head. "You would do well to keep safe. I would not like to find out that a friend of Remarque's got killed by remaining here too long." he stated with a certain note of seriousness, and sincerity, coating his every word. With his grip on Acrucis tight and Remarque holding onto him, and the other dark mirror senshi, he closed his eyes as he focused on where he wanted to bring them to. he knew it would drain him, more so had he taken the knight, but he was willing to accept that. it was his duty to help and assist others who needed it, even if it led to his own injury, and he was going to help the others now.

His focus on an alley way he knew was near the hospital, that was out of view of people and hospital security cameras, he forced his energy into the act of teleporting and taking the three people with him.

The flames had only just started to n** at his own cape, he'd stamp it out if it survived the teleportation. As he vanished, and so too did the three he was taking with him, he wondered for a moment if Bischofite was involved in this and if so he hoped the other made it out safe. The idea of the other being hurt, being unable to escape, caused a clenching in his chest. The thoughts, the feeling, lasted for such a short amount of time that it didn't disturb his focus which was a good thing.

“Hey, wait, what are you doing?!”

Being casually tossed over Sessrumnir's shoulder was not Ganymede's preferred means of departure. Then again, the fire hadn't exactly been part of the plan as she'd understood it, and she wasn't really helping herself with how she'd been aimlessly wandering around.

Only it hadn't been aimless. Not really. She'd certainly had a goal in mind. Find Valhalla. If that butthead thought he could just walk away from her, he had another thing coming. Just because she hadn't wanted to talk about this right then and there didn't mean she didn't want to talk at all. She wasn't looking forward to the silent treatment that was likely the follow. She'd ******** up by not telling him, but Val didn't have to just walk away.

And now she had no idea where he was and the place was up in flames and there was smoke everywhere and she wished she could go back to the moment she'd made the conscious decision to be involved with this and knock herself upside the head until she forced some common sense into her brain.

These sorts of battles never ended well. She's known that ahead of time.

“Put me down!” she shouted, and pounded at Sessrumnir's back wwith fists that weren't all that effective through a cape, two tunics, and a layer of chainmail. “I don't need you to rescue me!”

Ganymede looked around wildly, searching through the smoke for any sign of Valhalla, but he'd gone somewhere out of sight. “Val! Valhalla!”

She was whisked off unceremoniously and against her will.

He had vanished for a moment with Wolframite, taking with him at least those officers who had not, or could not vanish on his own. It might have seemed as though he would receive no answer to his question, but the man came back, scalded coat, bruising face, cut and all. He had not brought Wolframite with him, not this time, but he moved towards where the fire had been so deliberately started.

He wrapped a length of coat around his hand and scooped something hastily off the floor and tucked it into his coat pocket before shaking his hand free and turning to answer.

“Yes” he said after a moment’s icy stare. “That is the only mirror. Tell me Knight, were you part of this?”
