It seemed to Waffleberry that she had found the gardens. It might have been pretty, if she weren't so focused on not getting lost. It was easy enough to follow the arrows, but she was worried she might lose them, too. She didn't need to worry. A few steps after noticing an odd sound, she found herself a field of different sized mushrooms. "Keep your temper?" What did that mean? The rocking-horsefly was not much help. His words sounded much more like a riddle than she might have liked. Though... too much? Hrm. She HAD run into mushrooms before; she knew what they could do. "Well," she said, even though the rocking-horsefly was already gone, "I suppose I shall try to see what is on the other side." A little bit warily, she stepped into the mushroom field. She could tell from the first step that it might be a little bit difficult. It was most certainly not enough. She still couldn't squeeze though, not without worrying about getting stuck. And thank you, but no. She'd rather not get stuck. Reaching out, she pulled another piece of mushroom off of a nearby fungus. She popped it in her mouth and hoped for the best. It seemed to work. She slipped right through those stalks. Progress.
