Carac smiled. "Great. We should be able to think of a plan tonight," he said and they soon reached a swamp. "Our new home should be beyond this swamp." He noticed that Cedany was already making her way across. Looking back at Lynora, he wondered if she was the type of girl who hated getting dirty. She looked remarkably clean.

Lynora followed the twins to the swamp but stopped just short of it. She reminded herself how much she was afraid of the water but it didn't look like there was any other way around, and it was a fairly narrow swamp at best. Lynora watched Cedany cross and noticed that the water came up to her breasts; she wasn't too much taller than the female twin and decided it might be okay. Once her feet touched the water, Lynora splashed her way across in her haste to get to the other side. She breathed a sigh of relief when she reached the other side.

Carac chuckled at Lynora's antics and calmly made his way through the swamp. "We shall prepare a bath right away," he said as he passed the guest. "We're nearly there. Just a little while longer." He continued to follow his sister, once again stopping occasionally for Lynora to catch up, until they reached what looked like a beaver's den. Watching as Cedany submerged herself under the water, as the entrance could only be found underwater, Carac looked back at Lynora apologetically. "Would you like a sphere of air?"

She could feel her heart rate quicken. "You mean....I have to swim?" she asked softly, wrapping her arms around her body. "I....I can't...." she said bashfully, hoping there was another way inside or perhaps a place where she sleep alone for the night.

Carac raised an eyebrow. "Can't swim? Is there no need to in your time?" he asked. "Well, perhaps it's best to learn now. It's very useful in these times." He stepped into the swampy pond and began to float in it, as it was very deep despite being near shore. It would help keep heavily armored guards at bay. "We mustn't dawdle, Miss Lynora. We must get inside soon. I'll help you swim."

I'm not so sure about this.....what about the last time I was in a pool? Lynora thought to herself as she looked behind her to see if anyone was following her. But then again...the last time I failed to listen their home was taken from them. She still felt bad about that. "Just.....don't let go of me." She said, reaching for Carac's hand and slipping into the cold water. Trying not to smash the herbs in her hands but at the same time trying not to drown, Lynora clung to Carac's body like a life raft and already felt like crying. "I-I don't like this!" she whined softly against his chest.

Carac chuckled a little bit. It was as if he was helping a little sister swim. "Don't worry, the water isn't as deep as it looks," he assured her, squeezing her hand a little. He continued to swim with her to the den and stopped in front of it. "Hold your breath." When he was sure Lynora had enough air, he sunk with her and pulled her to the underwater entrance, holding her close to reassure her that he was there. They soon broke through the surface into the den's living room and he helped her out of the water.

Lynora's heart pounded as they swam closer to the den, it may not have been very deep but she couldn't feel the bottom and that was enough to make her nervous. Taking a deep breath and holding onto Carac tightly as they sunk underwater, she started to panic a little but was quite relieved that she was able to breathe again. Lynora gasped for air and crawled out of the water, still a little shaky. "Lets not do that again....." she said softly.

Cedany, who had been preparing some dinner with some of the herbs found, rolled her eyes. "Unless you want to stay in here for the rest of your life, there's no other way in or out," she scoffed, pausing in her cooking to help her brother out of the water. "Well, make yourself at home, I guess. And enjoy the space we have. It looks like we'll be housing four for the time being." She returned to her cooking and ignored her brother's glare."Be nice, Cedany, she's our guest," Carac scolded softly as he picked up some dry clothes from the neat pile near the water hole. He then proceeded to smile at Lynora again. "Miss Lynora, feel free to pick some clothes from the pile. They don't look like much, but they should suffice."

Lynora tried to ignore Cedany, it wasn't her fault she didn't know what had happened to Lynora to make her so afraid of swimming. She turned toward the pile of dry clothes and picked a few garments out but she wasn't even sure how these would wrap around her body. They weren't like the clothes she was used to at home. Finally she found a few garments she could fashion into a long skirt and something to wrap around her chest for modesty. She looked behind her to see if Carac was watching but he was being a gentleman and had his back toward her for privacy. It took a little longer than she thought but Lynora was able to undress and redress in the garments she had chosen.

"Are you decent?" Carac asked to make sure he would not accidentally turn while Lynora was still changing. In the meantime, he reached for the ceiling and moved the sticks to make a tiny hole to observe the sky, covering it up again once he deduced that it was actually still late morning. Not much time seemed to have passed, but it did not mean it was safe to go back outside yet. He didn't know if Lynora had been followed or hunted before they met up again, so it was best to hide until the hunting party was sure to give up.

Trying to fix the cloth that covered her chest, Lynora turned around and fumbled with keeping one of the sleeves on her shoulder, since it was a little too big for her. "Yes." she said softly, hoping everything would hold together well on her small body. Carac turned and he would have admired Lynora's appearance if he was not already with Sreda. There was also a nagging feeling that told him to keep his feelings in check around her, though, aside from his relationship with the castle servant girl, he could not put his finger on what the reason was. "Far from it. You look very nice," he complimented before picking up his own wet clothes and throwing them into a basket to be washed.

Lynora took a seat on a chair nearby and gave a heavy sigh. "I've made such a mess of everything. And I still don't know how or why I came here in the first place." Now more than ever she wished for a time machine.

"Please don't despair, Miss Lynora," Carac began as he dried the floor. "Cedany and I shall get to the bottom of this." However, he sounded even unsure of himself. He never heard of any time spells. This was a most unusual case.
