"Well Skye seems to have fallen in a hole," Mika said slowly. "I can't see what's going on. Did we win?"




Skye was tearing away at her pants leg. Her leg already didn't look right and she screamed as an intense wave of pain hit her. She was terrified and knew what was happening. Of course she also knew how to stop it but it needed to happen fast. "Leo," she whispered though the com on her Bunjaw. "I...I need you to come cut off my leg, the right one. Fast...please."

"We wouldn't be alive if we didn't." Skye came in on the BunJaw before he could take notice of anything else. His head started to thump harder, his adrenaline started to go faster, and droves of sweat followed. Leo unsheathed one of his swords, a cutlass mimicking similarities of a privateer's, and made his way over to Skye. He kneeled down, ensuring he had a good understaing of the situation. "I'm not cutting your leg off until you give me a good reason."

"Uh can't you see how it looks," Mika asked as she joined them. "A leg is not supposed to look like that. Looks like something like acid is eating it. Is that...a bit of a spider web clinging to it?" She pointed to some white fibers on Skye's leg.




"Don't touch them," Skye said through gritted teeth. "Necromite webbing. It's full of their necrotic venom. My leg can't be saved so please cut it off already. It hurts worse than anything I've experienced. The rot will only spread if you don't and it will kill me. Losing a leg is the only way I can survive this." She had her hands on her knee. It was obvious she was in alot of pain. She was cursing herself for not seeing the tunnel.

Leo examined the webbing and pushed down hard on her leg to maybe seize the inevitable. He stopped as quickly as he had begun. "Is this seriously our only option?" Leo scanned the group for an answer. "This has to be definite."

Mika started to back away. She knew there would be blood and she didn't like blood. Explosives kept her from really seeing the blood if used right. This...well she really didn't want to be around to see.




"Do it before it...goes past...knee...," Skye said before she passed out from the pain. She'd managed it until he'd pressed on her leg.

Leo tried to prevent Ethan, but he had already unsheathed his other cutlass, positioned himself, and cut off Skye's leg. There was nothing he could do now. But what Ethan had done was unacceptable. He ran after him and pulled him out of the rusted car, throwing him on the ground as he did so. "You don't make choices without the whole group's consensuses! You had no right to disarm me, Ethan... And you surely had no right to cut off Skye's leg, regardless if she wanted it or not!" Leo trumped off back to Skye, leaving Ethan to comprehend what he'd just done.

(Skye is gonna be out for a bit. I will post for her when she wakes. Her leg is gone only right below her knee so most is intact.)


Mika saw what Leo did and when he was walking back towards Skye she walked right up to him and slapped him hard. "You are a bad leader," she said coldly. "What kind of leader hesitates like that in a life and death situation? What kind of leader does that to one of his followers when they were only doing what he should have done right away instead of just asked questions!" She slapped him again. "You are no true leader. In fact Skye knows more about out here than you even seem to! She should be leader and not you." With that she whirled away from him and walked over to the cook.

"You okay," she asked him as she held out a hand to him. "Want me to bandage your wounds? What you did was the right thing you know. He's not a leader. I'm sure Skye will say thank you when she wakes." Mika knew what Leo had done was uncalled for. She gave the cook a smile.

Leo took Mika's unnecessary slaps without a word, walked over to Skye, and took a kneel. Although Tatsuya had probably already placed his judgement upon Leo, he still thanked him softly for helping Skye, then proceeded in clasping some bandages around Skye's leg, reinforcing her stump. Leo scouted the wasteland, briefly pausing on Tatsuya."I understand this had to be done, but you can't simply act on impulse. You need to make sure there's not another possible outcome, no other way out. Unfortunately, this was her's... But you can't make a conclusion in your mind until you have ruled out all other variables." Leo went to stand, brushing dust off of his pants. He put his hand on Tatsuya's shoulder for no longer than a second. "No man left behind." With that, Leo made his way over to the pile of dead bodies, picking out a couple of the men who had finer outfits. He threw them on the ground, stripped them, got their clothes, and brought them over to the group. He laid each assassin outfit out on the car nearest to Skye. Leo, somehow, was already back to business as usual. He seemed almost resilient to the events, but deep down, Leo knew what he did... He hesitated.
