The boy looked up at Kaeden, remembering him. The boy smiled. "I want your daughter.....and I always get what I want. She will be my mate when she get older."

The mother looked lovingly at her oldest son before looking at Kaeden. "We will take good care of her. I promise. We will turn over your Semal for the young lady. No harm will come to her." The mother said as she bent over to scoop up her littlest son. He mewed happily in her arm before he started to play with his tail. "I don't like to be kept waiting!" The older boy said. "I'm sure you want your Semal back without any fingers or toes missing!" The boy snapped as he pulled out his cell phone about to call his father.

Kayla raced up the steps behind Lily as they joined Alice. Lily could barely think as she tried to wrap her head around what was going on before her as she trusted her mate to decide for the tribe and for their family what to do. "Do we kiss the chalice? That's all I can think of right now." She said as a few tears fell from her eyes. "I do love him. He's not just my Semal....he's my brother." She said whipping her tears away. Kayla looked at Lily, unsure what all had happened while she was away from her.

Dray sighed. He wasn't sure he could take his mother crying again. But he was trying to be respectful since this was his mother. Dray watched Bella walk over to his mother before the lynx joined her. When no one else had been there for her, Alex had been there for the lynx baby.

At last we get a look at Logan. He'd been drugged, chained and put in a small room. He was chained to a chair in the middle of the room and he could hear the cars moving outside on the street. He wasn't sure how long he'd been out for, but his head was killing him.

As he started to come to, he tried to think of what had happened and where his mate was. It hurt to think, but he started to remember and it because clear. Anger overwhelmed him from the lack of respect and endangering his Rayah. In his anger, Logan easily snapped the thin chains his captors though could hold him. He shifted to his huge black panther and easily knocked the door down.

Men from around the house came charging to keep him a prisoner, but mercy wasn't on Logan's mind at the moment and he tore them to shreds. The house was medium sized but had a lot of people in it. Those that didn't come near him he didn't kill but the rest were fair game. Those that had time to shift, shifted. But Logan was on the war path and quickly made his way towards the back of the house to escape.

"Don't worry. She will be taken care of. We take care of all our trophies. She just needs to be a good girl, learn her lessons in school, learn to cook and how to clean. That is all." The mother said with a well practiced smile. "Now, please bring her out. Time is fleeting."

The mixture didn't do anything special after Lily had kissed it. But they prayed with all their hearts that it would work as the got up and carried it to their Rayah.

Dray frowned at the new that his father wasn't doing too well. Sure his father was strong enough to make it, but then again he didn't know where he was or what hardships his father was facing.

Dray also looked up when his aunt, new aunt and Alice came in. Lily didn't want to lie to Alex, but they really needed him to drink the mixture. As the chalice got closer to Alex though, it started to glitter like gold and silver. "Hey, my Rayah. Logan really needs your help. Please drink this. We are hoping it will give you strength." Lily said knelling next to Alex and motioning for Alice to bring the chalice over. It wasn't a complete lie. Logan did need his Rayah and Alex would have his normal strength back once that bracelet was off.....he'd be able to shift again.

"I'm tired of waiting." The boy said. "Bring her out now or I'll call my father and have him mail you a finger from off your Semal's hand!"

Lily was anxious. She wanted to have Kayla hold Alex down and she would pour the potion down his throat....but she tapped her fingers on her leg and waited for him to finish.

Lily and Dray squealed when Alex seemed like he was back to normal. He'd called their Semal Logan instead of Dominate. "Oh mom! You're back. We missed you so much!" Dray said kissing Alex's cheek.

But Lily quickly cupped his face and looked into his eyes. "Sorry your head is hurting, but I have to skip the pleasentries. One of the brothers purposely dropped this bracelet and you put it on. You've been a jacked up whimpering child since, Logan has been kidnapped and there is a family outside that wants to take my daughter in return for our Semal. You must do something. We don't know for sure where Logan is. Uri has sent men out, but this family has him locked up someplace." Lily said and let her brother-in-law go.

At the moment, deep in the countryside on the other side of the city, Logan had gotten out of the house from his captors, but not without some injury. It wasn't evening yet and he knew if he stayed in his panther form people would call animal control. But if he shifted to human he'd be naked and the police would be called.

Well, the second one wasn't so bad since he'd be safe and be able to call home at the police station, but he needed to see his mate. He'd shifted from human to panther so much he'd lost his clothes and his phone....well, they probably took his phone.

But even on the countryside in the rolling hills just outside the city, there were too many cottages and houses to just stroll around. So Logan decided to play the weakman's card. He shifted to his human form when he came to a hedge where a man was doing some gardening. He looked kind, so Logan took a chance. He made his voice sound really pitiful as he limped towards him with frightened eyes. "Please sir, please help me. I got mugged. Please, I just need some clothes and to call my family."

Andrew took some time out to text Uri. It said, "No sign of Logan here. Some of the tribe is here, but most gone out. We slipped on the land and searched around." Uri frowned and turned just in time to see Alex coming out of the game room. He looked different and he looked like he was on a mission. Uri followed....since that was his job.

Lily followed at a distance. She hoped Alex would rip them to shreds....after finding out the location of her brother...of course.

"Everyday is a bargain." The mother answered. "We do not need a right. My husband and sons take what they want. I am only an aid to help them get it." The boy got upset he was being ignored and dialed his father. "Daddy! They won't let me have her! Send them that man's index finger!" The boy demanded on the phone. There was a long pause before the boy started yelling again. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S GONE?! I WANT HER AND YOU NEED TO GET HER FOR ME!" But the line went flat and started beeping. Having lost too much blood in the fight, the father lay on the floor of his cottage dead now.

The boy threw down the phone and threw a yelling tantrum. The mother stepped to the side out of the way as she held her youngest son. It would seem that their scheme had been foiled. They'd underestimated the strength of the Semal and the bond with his tribe.

Angrily the boy started shouting at his mother. "MOTHER! KILL HIM!" The boy yelled. And obediently she obeyed. She pulled a knife from her skirts and lunged towards Alex. But Uri was right there to stay her hand that held the knife while her other hand held her child. She struggled to get her hand free so she could obey her son. Uri looked at Alex. "Shall I kill her?" He asked.

Lily came up and stood by Kaeden as they waited for Alex's decision. The boy stopped his yelling as he looked past them all and to the front porch where Yen was standing with her sister. They went to their parents.

"Thank you so much. One day I will repay you for your kindness." Logan said and accepted the clothes. He quickly put them on and dialed Uri. While he'd been escaping with his injuries, he'd noted the addresses of the houses.

Uri came back to tell his Rayah it had been done, but his phone rang. He quickly got it thinking it might be Andrew with news. "My Semal?" Uri asked. Logan smiled on the other end. "You've never seen this number before....how'd you know it was me?" Logan asked. "A hunch. Where are you? Alex is better. He's here." Logan gave him the address, but hung up before Uri could give the phone to Alex. Shocked, Uri looked at Alex in confusion.

But Logan had seen a panther watching from the bushes. He had to hang up and leave the old man and his family before they got hurt. "I think they are still looking for me. I don't wish to endanger you. I must leave. I will not forget you." Logan said handing the old man the phone and then racing off.

The girls had watched as the mother was killed, the kitten pulled away by Alex and the boy dragged off. He went kicking and screaming of course. Yanny turned to her father and gave alittle growl. "Kill him." She said in a low, dangerous voice. Yen put her hand on her sister's shoulder. "Relax. The Semal will decide when he return." Lily couldn't help but smirk at her little girl. She'd forgotten the backgrounds of the adopted daughters. She knew Yen had killed before.....but had Yanny?

Uri nodded and walked away a little to make a call before returning. "My place is and always be by your side. And besides, Andrew is closer than I am." Uri said sending the address to Andrew.

Andrew quickly checked his messages and gathered his men and headed to the address. They were actually close. But Andrew quickly pulled the car over when he caught a glimpse of Logan. He honked the horn. Logan quickly detoured towards them and they threw open the door for him. He jumped in and Andrew drove off.

Both the girls hugged their father. Lily calmed enough to smile. She moved in for a hug as well. "Now, back up with the others until Logan arrives." Lily then turned back to Alex so he wouldn't be alone. She hesitated when he asked his question. She smiled awkwardly. "Um.....it wasn't that you were bad." Lily said and then took a deep breath before telling him the whole story in one breath. "So it was more like having a ninth child than a mate.....um, my Rayah." Lily said letting it all sink in. "But we all still love you." She ended with a smile.

"Just be more careful. Logan really tries to keep you and the kittens and everyone safe. He's got a lot of responsibilities on his shoulders. And I'm sure he doesn't want you to feel like a prisoner in your own home. So, yeah, just be more careful and cautious." Lily said with a smile. "Besides, what possessed you to put it on? Cats don't wear bracelets.....we can't shift." She said with a chuckle as she hugged him. "I'm sure he's not upset....annoyed maybe....but not upset. Besides, we were able to get you back to normal. Alice came up with the ingredients. Kayla and I just helped her get them. All will be well. You'll see.....well, until the next big thing happens....but hopefully it will be a wedding and not anything drastic." She giggled and looked back at Alice and Kayla.

Teasingly she made kissing noises to Alice. "You're honey-bun will be back soon with our Semal." Lily said with a huge smile.

Uri shifted to his other foot as he filled in the blanks. "We didn't know where you'd gotten it from. You went out with the kittens and Logan to relax in the sun and let the kits have their first time outside. You came back in and while we were waiting for Logan to return, you pulled it out of your pocket. We thought he'd given it to you or something. You acted alittle weird, but said you were fine. Then you put it on and all changed." Lily nodded and smiled softly. "It'll be alright now."

Lily smiled up at Alice as Alex talked to her. She turned her attention to her mate when he returned. She got up and went to him, eager to be held. She put her arms around his waist and motioned for Kayla to come over as well. "Thank you, love." Lily said softly.

But their eyes turned sharply as screeching tires sounded and a jeep came racing down the road. It was their jeep and no one was chasing them. "Faster......I must see him." Logan called to Andrew. "The petal is on the floor my Semal." Andrew said as he made a wide swing so he couldn't miss the gate entrance. The guards had opened it and the jeep came flying threw. The other men in the back were hanging on for dear life!

Andrew came to a professional sliding stop at the front of the main house. Logan barely waited for the jeep to stop before he leapt from it and landed on his feet. His eyes went right for Alex.

When they were knocked out in the limo he didn't know if they had him, hurt him or anything. But when he talked to Uri and he was his Rayah was back to normal, that warmed Logan's heart and he just had to see him for himself.

Logan didn't even bother to use words and he raced over to Alex and grabbed him up. He buried his face in his mate's neck and took a deep breath to take in his scent. He smelt just right.....and just his. Logan's hand travelled down to Alex butt for a smack and a squeeze before he purred happily.

The guards cautiously crawled from the jeep and thanked the cat gods for solid ground.
