"I figured thats what was going to happen when he handed me the contract." Lucas stated. "I didn't know he had the recorder though, thats why you didn't want me saying anything." Lucas realized.

"I just hope that was the only recorder in his office. He's been known to be a little sneaky." he said softly. "Other than that, you did very well." he commented, his hand moving to Lucas' lower back. "Would you like to go somewhere for lunch?" he asked softly as the elevator doors opened at the garage level. "I know lots of nice restaurants...you would only need to pick an ethnicity of food."

Lucas frowned at the thought of the man having another recording device. He smiled hearing that he had done well however. "Really? How about something Italian." Lucas suggested.He was surprised he wasn't being whisked back to the castle like home Alastor had but he was pleased about it.

Alastor grinned and took Lucas' hand into his own. "Italian it is." he said softly, escorting him to the car and opening the door for him before getting into the drivers side. Alastor started the car and began heading for the restaurant. "Would you like....to start going to school again?" he asked softly as he tried to make an attempt at conversation.

Lucas looked down to their clasped hands and smiled softly. He hummed quietly to himself when he sat in the car watching as they moved through the city. When the man asked if he wanted to start school again Lucas felt even more surprise."I would like to, but why the sudden change of heart?" Lucas questioned.

Alastor gave a slight shrug of his shoulders. "You didn't try to run when I left you on your own in that office." he said softly, rounding a couple corners after coming across a few stop lights. "You can resume school on Monday. I'll pick you up after school, unless you need to study late." Alastor said softly as he quickly found the restaurant they were going to have lunch at. "We're here." he said softly, getting out of the car and opening the door for Lucas.

Lucas nodded when the man stated that he hadn't run. He wouldn't deny that he had thought about it but he hadn't and he didn't know why. "Okay." Lucas stated softly. Lucas smiled as Alastor opened the car door for him when the had arrived. "Thank you."

Alastor escorted Lucas inside the restaurant, asking the seating waiter for his normal table on the roof. The two of them were escorted to the roof which was shielded with high glass walls to protect the diners from the wind. There was only one table set for two with a small bouquet of roses in the middle of the two plates. "Pick your seat." he said softly.

"You have a normal table?" Lucas questioned smiling slightly. When they arrived on the roof Lucas was surprised by the table already set there. The fact that it had roses made the whole thing seem like a date. Picking his seat he sat down looking expectantly to Alastor.

Alastor sat across from Lucas and managed to turn his phone on silent out of respect for his guest. Shortly, the waiter walked to their table with a couple of menu's and left them to decide their meal but not before Alastor asked the waiter for his normal wine. "I recommend the lasagna. They make it really well." he said softly, not even touching his menu as he had already known what he wanted. The waiter poured them both a glass of red wine while Lucas decided.

Lucas thanked the waiter as the man handed him a menu. Flipping it open he looked through it curiously. Looking up when Alastor stated that he recommended the lasagna he nodded considering the option. "I think that sounds good. What are you getting?" he asked.

Alastor handed the waiter his menu. "Chicken parmesan please. And why don't you ad a side of garlic bread and some bruschetta for an appetizer?" he said softly, looking over at Lucas with a small smile. It had been a while since he had been to this restaurant.

Lucas gave a sheepish smile to Alastor when the man smiled at him. He handed his menu off to the waiter after telling the man what he wanted. "Thank you." he stated once more. He felt silly about all this, it was almost as if they were going on a date with the private table and the flower. None the less he couldn't help but trail a finger over the petals of the flower. (i'm sooooo sorry I thought I had posted awhile ago but apparently my computer thought otherwise.)

Alastor smiled at the young boy. "I'm sorry for such a formal setting. I only eat at places I like. I hate fast food." He said softly, placing the cloth napkin across his lap and smiling when the waiters came back with the bruschetta and a tossed salad for the both of them. "Try the bruschetta. It's not bad." he said softly, taking one of the slices of bread topped with tomatoes and other ingredients. "Do you like roses? Or do you have a different flower that you like?"Alikia Tsuki ((Don't worry about it.))

"Its okay, its nice. Been awhile since I've eaten out. Normally I would just cook something, its cheaper." Lucas explained. Copying Alastor and placing his napkin in his lap. Nodding again he tried some of the bruschetta. "This is wonderful." Lucas smiled. "Roses are nice, but i've always favored Myosotis arvensis... forget me nots." Lucas stated.
