Smiling widely, Sailor Nyx took in the cross-faction battle raging below her perch. There had been plenty of time of awe and relegating fears of absolute damnation on the way to the battlefield, as the Queen's presence was not exactly subtle. She had called up not only her own wave of curious, un-categorized power, but the power signatures of many others that the phantasmagoria senshi did recognize. Order and chaos. Senshi, Knights, Negaverse, and Dark Moon Court, all together against the Shade Queen. That sentiment could have been the source of her smile, if it did not turn up in one corner the wrong way. No, a lasting peace between their groups could not be hoped for and certainly was not a priority as one of the biggest battles she had ever seen take place on their little blue planet raged below. The smile stemmed from a second chance. Nyx had rushed to this place from the horse barn on the outskirts of the city, where she had been fighting her own shade. Suddenly, it had disappeared, leaving behind anger and paranoia. Until she sensed this.
And they were giving this false Queen a run for her life.
Sailor Nyx lept down to join the fray!
[Rolling for gyrocompass effect and Heavenly Orchid Arrow damage.]

Before Sailor Nyx could land an attack - or, well, even land - she was overcome with a terrible sickness in the pit of her stomach, like drinking too much milk and going outside in a heatwave. And spinning around in circles. The mental image was making the whole situation much worse, so she quickly shoved it aside. While Nyx had planned to alight on an awning midway between her perch and the ground, she ended up slipping from the awning, head over heels, and tumbling to the grass. Amongst the battle, at least. She groaned when the vertigo did not let up even with solid ground beneath her - and could only stare curiously as a slip of light in front of her cut through the park. The groan turned into a full scream as a purple-tinged magical arrow sent her reeling backwards, aided by her loss of balance. "Wrong place, wrong time," she muttered inwardly as she pushed herself up once again. From the bit of observation time on the rooftop, Nyx knew that this false queen was stealing from Chaos and Order alike. Have you ever been so mad that you beat a Shade Queen with other shades? Sailor Nyx has.
"Timorous Shadow!"Quote: Target begins to feel an ominous presence with the entrance of a creature made of darkness and wild paranoia. - It generally appears to be the size/shape of a medium canine, though with some... off-putting features such as elongated legs, joints out of place, and tendrils of black licking off of it. - The attack is unable to take an entirely visible/physical form; instead it stalks about the target: showing interest from a distance, brushing against them, and making noises in order to distract them. - It brings with it a great sense of unease, anxiousness. This may manifest in a way true to the other character/youma. - Duration: 1 minute. - Cannot block an attack. It will simply pass through. - Non-sentient. [39/40 HP]

He would have understood if the Queen had attacked him but she didn't - nope. One of her little minions came after him. Growling he was preparing to attack when he found himself being attacked. Cursing as he prssed his fingers into his temples. What had he been hit with and what was he seeing? His eyes open or closed he was seeing things which made no sense to him, not to mention how fast they went by, all manner of various scenes played out in short disjointed fragments. It was too much to take in and the blond leaned on his weapon; letting it support his weight.
When finally it seemed to pass, whatever it was, he turned his focus on the Shade and narrowed eyes took in the things form. Gripping his weapon he brought his staff into both hands, that knight he'd been helping forgotten for the moment, as he brought his weapon down in an arch aimed for the shade. He had every intention of killing this thing and moving his focus right back to the queen - where it belonged.

Maia wasn't here? Perhaps not. But she couldn't seem to make that idea make sense to her. Maia seemed very active - active enough that she was certainly here. And yet as Winterlynn called out for the red haired senshi there was no reply. Shaking her head she sought to remind herself that there was a fight going on and she needed to do something; well something other than look for the senshi of music. Her focus on what it should be the knight found herself moving to dodge arrows which came her way only it also sent her to the ground, as she had not noticed till she'd moved that her balance was not what it should be - nor was how she moved. She'd been hit with some attack and hadn't even been aware of being hit nor an attack being...fired, yes fired seemed the proper term to use.
Shaking her head as she picked herself up off the ground, a rock in her hand, she stood slowly and glanced down at her now dirty coat. At least now, with how cold it was, her coat kept her nice and warm!

Having made up her mind, not that it took long to do such, Delphi felt her fingers curl tightly about the rock in her hand. She had to do something, even if it was something small, in order to help in this fight. This...queen or whatever she was needed to be dealt with and the quicker the better - in her opinion.
That known she lifted her hand, the one with the rock in it, brought her arm back and then brought it forward in a fast motion as she released the rock. She had aimed for the Queen she now just had to hope she had a good throwing arm and could hit the queen.

The shade wailed as Benitoite's spear came down, and it crumpled in a heap. It seemed this one was rather weak, and it easily succumbed to the assault. But it had distracted, and it hoped that was enough to help its Queen.

Serpentine: 46/50 (-4 from Snow Slip) A savage grin crossed Serpentine's face whenever the shade went tumbling down. It was not that he had doubted his plan would succeed - it was just always a wonderful feeling when everything went the way that it was supposed to go. In this war, few things did. With the creature on the ground, he leapt close to it and began to kick at its head and face. He intended to let it lie there permanently.

Round 7 Queen Finsternis HP: ???? She was seething inside, her shades did not seem to fairing well against the humans, stupid as there were, they were certainly tenacious. It hardly matter to her, though, all she needed to do was to wipe them all out and the shades would take them over. It wouldn't take long to eradicate the earth's population once they were not longer bound to their monochromatic forms. She found the ones with wings most annoying. Leading the fight and daring to think they may have a chance against her. One charged in and hit her square in the stomach before stumbling back. "You will not defeat me," she hissed though bared teeth as she straightened up once more. The hooded purple one, tried to punch her again, but the blow only grazed her arm as she moved back out over the water slowly. It was likely the last thing they wanted. For she was harder to reach and not everyone had a ranged attack. She laughed madly at the scrambling humans, but her laugher was cut of when a whip landed a stinging blow across her thighs and a spear can hurling by yet again to n** at her arm.Several more rocks pelted her person and we're batted away in irritation, as well as the blue whisp that sought to do what? Irritate her? It was certainly working as it flitted about. Following the whisp was the bird that someone had let loose on her, it flew low in an attempt to knock her over, but didn't seem to have enough power to do more than make her stumble. Then there was some sort of creature trying to befriend her, which she kicked away harshly. She surveyed them all some in better condition that other's some trying desperately to fend on her shade and more seemingly showing up with each passing moment. In a deadly whisper, she addressed them all though not all would be able to hear her. "I will not fail. This world will be mine or I will see it in ruins ..." They were ominous words for sure. She spreads her arms out wide and despite being out on the lake she begins to fade from view before what appears to be a long mace on a chain swings out from the darkness in an arc. Finsternis Attack Silhouette Form: Power of darkness. Finsternis fades from view, making her difficult to see and target. Roll a 10 sided die, if you roll a 1 or 10, your characters attack will miss. Make no damage roll. Character: Cap't Natron Power Weapon description: A mace on a chain Roll a 10 sided die, even are hit, odd are a miss! *Please bold all attacks on the queen and the shades.

Athene was starting to associate rants from the Queen Shade with the fact that some sort of attack was about to head their way, so when she had started to rant again he'd started to try and brace himself even though he hadn't been close enough to quite catch her words. Even so the towering Shade starting to suddenly fade from view kind of took him by surprise, enough so that he barely managed to jump out of the path of what looked to be some sort of mace like thing on a chain that suddenly swung out in an arc heading for their direction. "Please watch out for that thing" he called out as he picked himself up from the roll he'd flung himself into relieved that the sudden dizziness and vertigo from earlier seemed to have finally faded, hoping that both Pysche and Nysa had also managed to avoid the mace thing. Although Athene thought he could just about make out the Shade Queen if he looked hard enough, he decided against trying to attack her for the moment figuring the fadey-out thing she'd done couldn't last forever and it would be better to try when it was down, instead he turned and tried to turning to try and kick the Shade that had turned its sights on attacking Nysa, it wasn't the best kick - kicks weren't really his strongest point - but if nothing else mayhaps it would force the thing to split its attention between them.Athene HP: 41/50 --------------------------------------------- Falias had still been sprawled in a heap when the Queen Shade had sent her next volley in their direction, some kind of thing on a chain he was guessing based on the sound. Being on the ground had saved him from having to try and dodge the thing whatever it was as it had ended up swinging harmless overhead. He heard yelling nearby and glanced in the direction as he hauled himself up from the ground, glad that the dizziness and vertigo from earlier was finally over. He recognised the direction as being the one in which he'd been trying to before the sudden vertigo attack, where the blonde senshi being attacked was, the source of the yelling seeming to be coming from some dark-clad senshi although it seemed directed more at the blonde senshi's clone then the actual real senshi herself. Then he glanced over to to see how Amethyst was faring, just in time to see the blond Negaverse stumble over a clone and turning Falias started to head out to give the other hand. Maybe later when it was all finally over, Falias would look back on the strangeness of it all - after prior to today he would not have seen himself being in a position where he would end up trying to help out someone from the Negaverse. Then again that was without reckoning with a crazy Shade Queen, who it seemed had just done some sort of fade out thing and who they really needed to find a way to try and take down, although Falias recognised that he needed to be able to see the thing in order to try targeting her. Besides Amethyst had continued to be pretty decent to date and for today at least they both had wanting to take down the Shades in common. Falias HP: 26/50

For a moment, Amethyst wondered which way was up and which was down while he laid on the ground and tried to regain his bearings as soon as the vertigo episode came to pass. He quickly scrambled into motion, alarm bells going off in his head as soon as he saw the mace being swung his way. Or at least that was what he was trying to do until the darn shade that he had collided with earlier on had taken to restraining him with its arms, thereby rendering him helpless to act other than brace himself for the impending impact.
Taking a direct hit to his chest, he gave a hiss at how much that hurt, his body going lax momentarily for a couple of seconds before he took to twisting about and throwing random punches at the shade in his renewed efforts to throw it off him entirely.

“I'm... fine...” Ganymede lied. She certainly did not sound fine, her breathing labored and her voice low with exhaustion.
Had she been less in the moment she might have gotten a little frustrated that she couldn't seem to figure out for herself who needed her help most; instead she continued to hover between Themiscyra (who insisted she didn't need the help as much as Val) and Valhalla (who insisted he didn't need the help as much as Themiscyra). At least for now most of the frustration she felt was directed toward the fact that she couldn't seem to catch her breath—or even see very well; the world had gone a little dark and fuzzy around the edges. She wobbled precariously. Unfortunately, she couldn't blame the fatigue and dizziness she felt on any sort of magic.
Except her own, of course. That second use had been an effort, and it left her winded.
She could hardly focus. Everything sounded very distant, the noises of battle fading away, though she could still see—stubbornly through the descending haze—the crowd of familiar and unfamiliar faces continuing to fight. She wanted to join them. She wanted to go to Valhalla and make sure that he was alright; she wanted to destroy Themiscyra's shade the way she'd destroyed her own; she wanted to march up to the leader shade and make her leave, whether or not in was in her power to do so.
Ganymede didn't get to do any of those things.
She didn't see it coming. One moment she stood there, struggling to catch her breath, making ineffectual attempts to wave Themiscyra off, and the next moment a mace arced its way through the air and struck her right side.
There was a split second of pain, a gasp as the air was forced from her lungs.
Then nothing. She uttered not a word, not a shout, not a cry, but crumpled into a small, quiet heap upon the ground.
And there she lay, unmoving.HP: 0
