Cody popped into the group from over a hill. "What are we doing, guys? Anyone wanna fill me in?" he questioned, looking around at everyone.

On his way through the trees, Allen noticed a shadow shift through the branches, he figured it was one of those Ghost Pokemon from the list and ignored it. A moment later a twig snapped next to him, catching his attention. When he turned back a Shuppet had appeared in from of him. He jumped and let out a small yelp. "That's not funny." He put his hand over his heart, it was racing. His annoyance started slipping away, letting a happier mood through. "Wh-?" He looked up at the Shuppet, hanging there with a big old smile. The horn on it's head was glowing with a slight red tint. He pulled up the list he'd been sent found a Pokemon similar to it, "Shuppet.." he read the short article on the Pokemon, all the while feeling better and better. "Well I guess there are some pretty interesting Pokemon around here after all..."

"Froakie, go. Water Pulse!" Shuppet stuck it's tongue out and tried to dodge, but the Water Pulse was much quicker than it thought, it was forced into a tree, the excess water drained down the tree. Shuppet shook off the blow, conjuring up three blue wisps of fire and fired them at Froakie. They moved slow enough for him to dodge but the fire caught on the grass and started burning, "Ugh, put that out with another Water Pulse." The little frog blasted a ball of water at the ground, the splash being big enough it put it out. Meanwhile, Shuppet fired off another wisp, blasting Froakie across the back, the hit did no damage but burned the poor guy. "Froakie hit it with a Lick attack." Froakie's tongue shot out, slapping the Ghost around a few times. As Allen was readying his Pokeball, Shuppet's eyes lit up, a black shadow shot from it, knocking Froakie back and out. The Night Shade was just enough with the Burn damage. Allen returned his fallen Pokemon, but didn't call out the next one. "I think I'd like to have you." He tossed the Pokeball, hitting the creature on the noggin.

The ball held the Pokemon for a short time before signalling it'd been caught. In that moment another Shuppet came out of the shadows, ready to fight. "Seviper, take it out with a Night Slash." Seviper swung it's tail and it was over, the Shuppet scurried away.

Allen made his way back to where the group should be meeting back up at.

Cody tossed a pokeball into the air, calling Axew to his side. "Let's go, buddy!" he shouted, running off to find some wild pokemon. After a brief wading through some extra tall grass, the trainer and his pokemon came across a small group of Oddish and Zigzagoon that seemed to be fighting.

"Hey, hey, hey!" he shouted, trying to startle the pokemon and break up the fight. "It's gotta be a turf thing," the boy assumed, calling upon Poochyena to help Axew.

"Poochy, tackle the lead Oddish! Axew, scratch that Zigzagoon!" Cody commanded to his pokemon, hoping to lower morale by taking out each respective leader. Poochy hit the Oddish hard, knocking it to the ground away from its group. The Grass-type responded by violently shaking its head, releasing a spray of purple powder in the direction of Poochyena. "Dodge it!" the trainer shouted, and just in time, the dog pokemon leaped out of the way, responding with a loud howl that seemed to pump him up and raise his attack power. He launched at the Oddish again, bearing his teeth, and sunk his sharp canines deep into the plant pokemon, K.O.ing it.

Axew scratched at the Zigzagoon, but it was too agile and managed to dodge every slash, and followed up with a strong Headbutt, knocking Axew to the ground. "Once more, Axew!" Cody called to his baby dragon, and the pokemon responded. Axew hopped to his feet and launched at the Zigzagoon with a rage in his eyes that Cody had never seen before. With a strong swipe, the Zigzagoon let out a shriek of pain, and retaliated by kicking dirt and sand into Axew's eyes.

"Listen, Axew. You don't need to see to win!" the pokemon's trainer shouted to him, hoping to raise his morale. The Zigzagoon launched once more at the Dragon Type. Axew closed his eyes tight and waited for the right moment before turning and launching a powerful blast of dragonic energy in the direction of the sprinting normal type, hitting it square in the face, and blowing it back into a tree.

With the two parties' leaders defeated, both the Oddish and Zigzagoon squads retreated into opposite directions. Cody returned his pokemon. "Good job, guys. Let's go find our team," he said and took off through the tall grass to rejoin the group.

Reaper got up along with Corphish, now able to walk and the two begin to head back to Headquarters.

"Sounds like a plan." Dark says, fiddling Magikarp's shrunken Pokeball between his fingers. He begins making his way back to base.

Once back to HQ, Maddy decided she would head off to bed.
"Good night, everyone. I'm turning in early tonight."
With that, she left.

"Goodnight." Reaper said to Maddy and Dark. He walked over to the couch and laid down on it and started watching TV.
