Eros quickly realized that nothing was really happening yet, and after resting for a few minutes -- the walking they’d done might not have even qualified as exercise by anyone else’s standards, but it was considerably more than Eros did in the average day -- he gathered Dido up and looked around more thoughtfully at the nicer cabin.

He’d much prefer a top bunk, the boy decided. Leaving his satchel as a placeholder wouldn’t do, what with the other tourists and the trainerless Pokémon wandering about unchecked. Eros drew out a piece of gilt stationery and a fountain pen. He folded the paper in two, wrote “Eros Leoni” in elegant cursive across it, and set the makeshift placard on the pillow of his berth of choice.

After packing the pen back into his bag, Eros ventured out of the cabin. Dido gave an “Iiiiitty” of complaint, for she would have much preferred a snooze in an armchair or her human’s lap, but she was mollified by a few more strokes along her back.

Almost immediately, Eros crossed paths with three girls who were gleefully exploring the airship. He was quite pleased to see that they were well-dressed -- one of them in considerable frills that Juno would have surely vetoed for this expedition -- and about his own age.

The boy’s smile was genuine as he approached the three girls. “Hello, ladies. It appears we’ll be traveling together in this marvelous contraption. The first-class cabin is just back there.

“My name is Eros Leoni.” He made sure the family crest pinned to his lapel was in full view. “What may I call you?”

Valarie was speechless for quite a while, too busy taking in the view and watching all the airship's pokemon work that she was not able to articulate a reply. The announcement however snapped her out of her trance, "Wow, this place is awesome huh?" she rambled, "Is it okay if we grab some food first?" The watcher asked and patted her stomach, "Been a while since I had a snack." She started to imagine what kind of food was on this ship and her mouth started to water a bit.

Fois, who is now on Valarie's shoulder, chirped in agreement. Something other than berries would be delicious.

The two long tables in the dining room now had a delicious assortment of food in the middle of them. Fruits, vegetables, sandwiches, slices of pizza, torchic wings, sushi, bread, soup, and drinks. Although not gourmet, the selection was quite enough to satisfy their stomachs. The pokemon in the kitchen were busying themselves preparing more, and paid no attention to the guests.

She laughed a bit when Squeeks jumped onto Spirit's head. Now that was a sight to see. An Emolga on a Vibrava who was on a person...very odd. "Guess we know that there's at least one human manning this ship...let's head below deck to see what's going on."

Spirit shook her head at Squeeks. < No, I don't mind. It is a new feeling though. I understand, being close to the people we like is how we show we like them.> She said, then noticed that Cara was moving below decks with everyone else but stopped with the rest of the crowd. < Oh hey, it looks like something is happening.>

They were stopped just downstairs, along with everyone else where their 'Captain', appeared and spoke of lunch and guestrooms. Sounds good to me... She thought when Remmy's need for ice cream interrupted her thinking again. Cara shook her head, there was no end to Remmy's exuberance. "Maybe Remmy, maybe. Let's go see what they have."

They headed into the dining hall and saw all the food laid out. So many different types of food; it looked delicious. The one thing Cara didn't see, that would make one little boy very unhappy, was ice cream. And she was right. As soon as Remmy saw there wasn't any ice cream, he went crazy. "Remmy calm down. They probably dont have any ice cream because they dont have the ability to keep it cold and frozen the way it needs to be. I don't think anyone would appreciate warm ice cream soup, do you?" She tried to reason with him, it's all she could do now. "How about you see what other sweets they have and try one or two of those after you get something good in, hm?" She was starting to lose her patience with Remmy's craziness.

Michelle smiled brightly. "Sounds awesome to have had a friend so long." She herself hadn't had any pokemon until a few months ago. Remy chimed in with a purr.

Her smile got brighter when the boy mentioned her but she didn't address him when it was obvious the other two had him in hand. Not long after that her attention got stolen away by the Captain. Guess they were going to go down bellow then. She followed the others down to the dinning hall and looked around at the spread. "Could be that they will bring out the ice cream in a little bit to make sure it's kept cold." She added when Cara tried to calm down Remmy.

Dido sat up to attention at the praise, purring and preening, and she even graced the chirpy Torchic with a nod.

“A pleasure to meet you, Miss Vana.” Eros gave a small bow. “What a lovely name!”

When the Captain made his announcement, the boy was relieved to realize that there were at least two humans on the ship’s crew, and one seemed to be the ultimate authority. They wouldn’t be left entirely at the mercy of a well-mannered Pokémon swarm.

Eros was content to follow as one of the other girls swept them along to the dining room -- or would they call it a galley here? “Lunch would indeed be quite welcome, Miss…?” He hadn’t caught the frilliest one’s name yet.

The boy offered a berry to Dido and piled a few more onto a plate before selecting a small sandwich, a couple of sushi rolls, and some fruit for himself. When he began to eat, he nibbled almost as delicately as the Skitty herself.

Michelle had been relaxing after getting stuffed on the food, Remy chilling out beside her. At least until the Pidgey attacked. They both got up and exchanged a look. "Time to go Rems!" They nodded to each other then ran out to get to the deck. Unfortunately they got attacked as soon as they stepped on deck.
