Rolling a 5: You miscalculated your distance! Subtract -10km from your distance remaining. You do not need to roll the event again, just skip it!
kurobutts: does this mean that you go back 10 km
kurobutts: like if you're at 21 / 150, you're at 11 / 150 now
kurobutts: or does it mean you're 10km closer, since it says distance remaining, not distance traveled
Zoo: it means if you're at 31 / 150

Face your demons Oh hi, it's me again OTL So... I sort of spaced on the whole claim the task thing, I was at a con this weekend and either I didn't post in the shrine / to claim that last task or I just can't find where I did, but I did all the WORK on time (on Amarus I did her log posts / tasted 10 teas and on Harland I tasted 3 + did his log posts) is there any way I can claim the blessings I did the work for? OTL

So, I completed the gauntlet thread with all of my companions intact (Thank you, Lost Memory), so now I get to choose which grail I drink out of. I want to go with the first choice (Choosing 'wisely'), but I'm honestly not sure what to do with my reaper quest, mainly in regard to the last part: 'Reapers may summon their familiar/weapon, however they cannot shift into an Insanity-weapon-beast if they choose this option!' I'm not sure what shifting into an Insanity-weapon-beast means. Using Sorrow's Tear as a weapon example, does being able to summon my character's original weapon (a staff) affect our dice rolls and/or weapon effects or does it just mean that instead of RPing hitting something with a sword, I RP casting fire magic?

For the Lost Wyvern battle! How many people can there be in that battle? Is it like the Hydra limit with 10 people or just normal with 5? o A o

 Since this weapon does not say "ally" but rather "target" I think so, but I wanted to be certain: can the target be anyone including yourself, or only allies?

In the gauntlet, do our weapon and pre-reg abilities only apply while fighting (mobs or guardian)?
Basically what I'm asking is if I'm Bishop, can I use my heal ability (i or if someone has a healing weapon) at anytime during the gauntlet (like after getting hit with traps) or only in the midst of a battle?

poke mattix If you're in the gauntlet, have all 6 of your companions, and roll a 21, do you do 21 damage or does it cap at 20? If you roll a 21 it's 21+20 - whatever your modifier is.

Realquick let's grab the entire Grail effect for context in case someone else has the same question: Quote: If you roll a 1:xxx gaia_diamond If you are a STUDENT: you may now turn into your character's natural form. Weapon effects and dice carry over. If your character does not have a natural form, then you instead may CREATE a natural form based off of the weapon your character has equipped. This form will be made out of Insanity, so your character will be mainly greys! Otherwise those with natural forms get them as-is without Insanity. Reapers may summon their familiar/weapon, however they cannot shift into an Insanity-weapon-beast if they choose this option! To break it down, essentially this effect lets students who have a natural form -BECOME- that natural form. This mainly applies to students who aren't humanoid, ie to use my own character as an example: Merope here is essentially an undead sea dragon. This is roughly what he looks like in his natural/real form. So for me, if I rolled this I could roll around until further notice as a big ol' sea dragon pathetically crawling/wiggling around on land. However, reapers don't -HAVE- a natural ability since they're always humanoid. Becoming their natural form doesn't help since they're already in their form. Some other undead/demon/ghosts/monsters have it this way too. As such, they can opt to CREATE an Insanity mob styled form to run around in. By "Insanity mob styled" I mean that you look kind of like the monsters you can fight. Note their greys and rampant fog: those are two key characteristics, however it would also need to incorporate characteristics from the weapon you wield because you're essentially becoming half-you half-weapon. ALTERNATIVELY and this may work out better for you, you can instead choose to recover your reaper's weapon/familiar. This means whatever weapon you wield now looks like your reaper's actual weapon OR the weapon they're currently using becomes their familiar and, yes instead of RPing "I poked it in the butt" you can go "I cast a spell and burnt its butt." Same thing applies to non-reapers too -- they can RP casting spells/fighting their usual style instead of using their weapon. Think of it like putting a "skin" over the weapon, to use video game terms~

In easy mode you can use your abilities outside of combat. Hard mode is in battles only.

For claiming weapon Minipets, Can you claim from more than one character?
Ex. I have Amphi and Nevada. Both of them have a rare weapon. Can I claim both of their weapons to get the two rare minipets?

Using the minipet conversion thread will not use your equipment that you want to artifact in the end. It's just a tiny bonus on the side. Made a weapon? MINIPETS. Want it as an artifact? Keep it equipped and it will be youurrss /o/~~

AstaraeI I REALLY WANT TO DO SOME RP/PRP RIGHT NOW WITH THE GREEN STATUS EFFECT BUT I ALSO WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO MULTIPLE SMALL RPs THAT ARE NOT BATTLES CAN WE MAKE PRPs OR DO WE HAVE TO PRP ONLY IN BATTLES/GAUNTLET RUNS THAT BOTH HAVE COOLDOWNS AND IF WE CAN MAKE PRP THREADS CAN WE MAKE THEM IN THE BATTLE ZONE SUBFORUM??
I JUST REALLY WANT TO RP THE STATUS EFFECTYOU CAN DO MULTIPLE SMALL RPS THAT ARE NOT BATTLES IN THE BATTLE THREAD FOR NOW BUT ONCE THE SIDETASK SUBFORUM OPENS YOU CAN MAKE RPS IN THERE EXCEPT THOSE WILL COME WITH AN UPDATE SO YEAH YOU CAN GO PRP IN THE BATTLE ZONE SUBFORUM
