Since the girl had gone silent, Nush did as well. He fired off another shot, catching the stranger in the arm. He couldn't help but wish that the weapon was a little less noisy.

Honestly, Ixy had so many more questions--for Nush and in general--but she determined that it would probably be best to wait until after the battle...assuming that she didn't slip up somehow while fighting.

Finally, he was able to get in a proper shot, and soon the entity fell. He checked the ground to see if anything was dropped. There was nothing, however. With a shrug, he rolled his shoulders, then went on his way, brushing past Ixyguin.

"I have no reason to fight you, you know." She admitted to it, not sure if she should strike again, little wounds starting to show on her arms from the blade knicking her when she attacked. The response to her statement was a dead stare, and the blade resetting, ready for the next strike. . .
Frowning, she hastily followed after him, oblivious to the fact that the faces in the fog had been replaced by limbs until she noticed one of them reaching for her from the corner of her eye. Before she could pull away, it suddenly snatched her, the hand sliding over her mouth and her nose.
Emitting muffled cries, she struggled against it, trying to pry it off finger by finger. Finally, it let go, disappearing back into the fog and leaving the girl gasping for air.

Nush heard her calling for him to wait up. He did pause for just a moment, casting a glance behind. However... suddenly, something grabbed a hold of him, pulling him towards the edge. His eye(s) widen as he lost his balance. Though, he tried to keep himself from falling off, the edge crumbled under his feet, sending him straight down into the blackness.

It was took late though. By the time Ixy had looked up to see the other figure getting grabbed, he had already fallen down into the darkness, and she nearly went after him had she not caught herself in time.

It felt like he was falling forever. But then, at some point, he realized he was slowing down. And then he touched the ground gently. Nush wasn't sure where he was now. The fog was thick, and he couldn't see much of anything around him.
Well, there were the three orbs that held blessings. He had found his way through.
Dusting himself off, he approached one of them, holding his hand over the place of power. And then he was gone.

Left alone once more, Ixyguin forced herself to continue onwards. Of course, it wouldn't be that easy though--she let out an alarm squeak when something grab her ankles, struggling to wrench them free and nearly tumbling down in her attempt.
Finally, when they let go, she took a moment to take a shaky breath before continuing.

The fog was a horrible fighter, but he couldn't say the same for himself. Both were doing minimal damage, but they were both consistent. As the damage was dealt, the laughter increased.
