Dashner rolled his eyes at the sudden outburst in noise. "Don't mind them. All they are, are monsters that just make things worse. Certainly a thing you shouldn't experience on your first day, just like mine. Come."
Dashner began to show her around Monster High. Of course they couldn't do it all right before school started, but they got a good portion in. It wasn't long before they ran into Draconia, Glen, and Hellene.
"Drake! Glen! This is a new student I'm showing around, her name is Sally."

Draconia was leaning into her locker, pulling out books for her next class when she heard Dashner talking behind her.
"Hm? Oh!" She straightened up and turned around, knocking Dashner's books out of his hands with her wings.
"Oops! So dreadfully sorry!" She bent down to pick up his books, and wound up smacking Sally with her wings in the process. "Oh dear! Sorry!"
Glen and Hellene just backed away a few steps. They were used to this by now.

"Hi!"
After deciding that he proverbial coast was clear with 'his' Drakie and her wings, Glen marched right up and stuck his hand out to Sally.
"Glen da West! Your new beastie!"
He gave her hand a vigorous shake.

Dashner bent down to collect his books.
"Sorry about the scare, Drake."
He laughed a bit when Glen made his introduction. Wasn't Glen almost everyone's new beastie?

Sally hesitated, the sudden excitement around her overwhelming. She moved back a little after Draconia's wing smacked her and looked at Glen as he shook her hand, hard enough to make her arm feel like it was going to pop right off. She quickly drew her hand back, without being rude and nodded to them.
"Its... nice to meet you." she said, regaining her composure ane relaxing her tensed tentacles.

Ronan noticed Doriana had wandered off, for a moment he felt a pang of guilt, but also immense relief. It wasn't that he disliked her, ok, he kinda did. He found her extremely hexhausting, and the thought of spending an entire evening with her babbling on and on about time... he just couldn't do it.
Perhaps now was a good time to try to tackle this mountain of homework. He stared down at the notes Atomica had sent to his Icoffin, and sighed. Now he'd have to spend a few hours translating all of this into actual words. Good thing he had nothing planned for the next few days.
Shouldering his bag and tucking his phone away, he headed to his first class. He still had work to catch up on which he intended to do while he waited for the first bell.

The locker right beside Draconia, Hellene, Glen, Dashner and Sally burst open with a loud 'clang' as the door banged against the neighboring lockers. Books poured out, as did a set of PJs, a sack lunch -- and Shadeaux.
'Shad' stood up quickly from their feet and shoved all of his belongings back into his locker and shoved the door shut with a smallest bit of difficulty.
He turned around and saw the group staring at him and cleared his throat.
"H-hi."
And he promptly marched away with as much decorum as he could muster given the circumstances.

Sally watched as Shad shoved his belongings back into his locker before hurrying away. She tilted her head. These monsters are.. different. she thought, remembering the various books and magazine clippings she had found in the forest. Monster High is for their children. Maybe they all just like to be different from their parents.
She glanced around the rowdy group again, smiling to herself, I think we'll definitely get along.

Marceline held her head high as she entered the halls of Monster High once more. Something about being brainwashed into joining a circus had done wonders for her fangxiety; at least she took comfort in knowing that some teenage faux paw couldn't be worse than that.
Heading up to her locker, Marceline retrieved her Dead Languages tome and took a second to check herself in the mirror. Maybe it was the stress, or the humid air that hovered in her tent at the circus; either way, her hair was much frizzier than usual. She wrinkled her nose as she scrunched smoothing scar-um into her tresses, to no avail. She sighed dejectedly, considering once again the Skare-itin treatment Clawdeen suggested to her last year. With Tombcoming right around the corner, she resolved to make that decision before the night of the dance.
Then Marceline remembered one other key factor in preparation for the dance... she'd need a date! She knew who she'd like to go with, that was for certain... Something to think about later, she resigned. Spotting Dashner Hawke chatting with Glen, Draconia, and a pink-clad new ghoul, Marceline headed their way.
"G'mornin everyone!" She grinned.

"Let me begin by saying, Mr. Bludworth, that we are quite pleased that your mother finally agreed to take our open invitation for you to attend Monster High." Rory sat in the Headless Headmistress' office, sitting on a chair facing her desk. Even though he hadn't even been in school long enough to consider sitting there a sign of being in trouble, he felt a bit squirm-ish under the glare her head gave him while sitting on her desk. Rory gave her a brief nod.
"Yes, ma'am, once she realized how my friends were willing to put themselves in danger to rescue each other, as well as reconnecting with Ms. Da West and the other witches, she changed her mind about letting me come here."
"Yes, about that..." The Headmistress picked up her head and popped it into its proper place on her shoulders. "I do hope the Witches Council finally saw fit to take care of Hagetha once and for all. After she threatened my students the first time, I wanted to see a much harsher punishment than just exile and depowering. And now, after a second such offense...."
The Headmistress ran a finger across her neck as Nightmare whinnied. Rory understood the implication completely.
"Well, actually, they decided to remand her into the custody of my mother." Rory informed the Headmistress, who raised one perfectly-groomed eyebrow. "Mother has been uhhh-nbelievably busy tending all of the magic mirrors in the universe, especially since her name became something of a legend amongst sleepover parties in the normie world. So Hagetha has been, er....reassigned to help her out."
"And they're sure that she won't creep up again to threaten my students?" The Headmistress asked, her tone containing the barest hint of malice. Rory shook his head.
"Believe me, she's so busy working the magic mirror call center right now, she barely has time to eat, much less plot anything!"
"Hmph. Well, that can only be good for her enormous as-...sistant Sue Nami! What are you doing here?" The Headmistress was cut off by the appearance of her water elemental associate, who was holding a clipboard.
"Non-adult entity!" Ms. Sue Nami shouted at Rory, who flinched. "I have here your approved class schedule! Learn it! Love it! Obey all school rules when traveling from class to class!"
"Uhm....okay." Rory took the (soaking wet) clipboard and looked at his classes. He squinted at the board, and adjusted its distance from his eyes. "Er....give me a moment..."
"Non-adult entity!" Ms. Sue Nami roared, making Rory jump and toss the clipboard away. "What is the holdup?! Dilly-dallying in between classes can cause congestion in the coffin corridor!"
"I just, I mean, it's just-" Rory stammered, trying to spit out some words to explain things. He was already starting to wonder if coming to Monster High was something he'd regret.
"Ms. Sue Nami, I believe the issue here can be solved quite easily. Here, Rory." The Headmistress opened a drawer on her desk and handed Rory a compact. Ms. Sue Nami raised an eyebrow.
"Surely you don't think this is a time to give him make-up tips, as fractured as his complexion is!"
Thanks, Rory thought to himself glumly, but took the compact.
"No, it's to ease his ability to read textbooks here. I believe that Mr. Bludworth is used to mirrortext. It will get easier for you to read things the frontwards way over time, but this should help make adjusting to class easier." The Headmistress demonstarted by opening the compact and showing Rory the mirrors inside. Rory grinned.
"Thanks! That's perfect."
"And now, I believe you should be getting to class. Ms. Sue Nami, would you show Rory the correct way to Dead Languages?"
"Affirmative!" Ms. Sue Nami saluted, sending water everywhere, and Rory followed her out.
Oh, manster, Rory thought to himself, feeling both fangxious and hexcited...what's going to happen next?!

Dashner turned to greet his beastie. "Morning, Marcie." He motioned her toward the new ghoul."That's Sally, a new ghoul I was showing around. She's really nice." Dashner saw up out of the corner of his eye a monster that looked like his beastie, Rorrim. 'No, it can't be...' he thought.

"And so, stooooodents, as we progress throooooough this screamester, yoooooou must always keep in mind that final project."
Kai sat behind his easel, listening to Ms. Boneatello talking to the entire art class. Now that the first week of class was over, things were really starting to pick up steam and the ghostly teacher had just unveiled the Final Project plan.
Kai spun a pencil in his fingers while he thought. So, each of them had to pick a medium, and then choose what they wanted to do for their final project. The rest of the screamester would be made up of smaller projects and status updates on that final project.
"Oh....maaaan...." Kai grabbed the pencil so hard it accidentally snapped in two. This meant making a decision and sticking to it! For an entire screamester!
He looked over at some of the other students in class. Skelita already had her sketchbook open, scribbling furr-iously. Draculaura looked overjoyed, and Layla seemed deep in thought. Even Abbey Bominable, who Kai never thought of as particularly 'artistic,' was asking the teacher about importing 50 tons of ice for her project. Wasn't anyone else sweating this?
Kai looked over at the clay station, where Jewels Underne was seated. He raised an eyebrow at her and gave her a shrug, trying to soundlessly ask if she had any ideas.

Jewels caught Kai's eye and smiled awkwardly, a blush steadily creeping across her face. She seemed to understand though, and shrugged back. Her own mind was racing with possibilities but none seemed perfect. She could do pottery, or sculpt something, or carve something... what about mosaic? Or some beautiful metalwork. Oh dear, just too many choices, she was just hopelessly lost.

Ronan sat in Dead languages, pouring over his hextbook and scribbling notes as he tried to catch up with the past week. This was going to take a while.
Other students filed in slowly, he paid them little mind until Miss Sue Nami burst in dramatically, followed by a familiar reflective boo. Ronan's eyes widened. "Rorrim?"

He waited until Ms. Sue Nami was light years a way before gleefully greeting Rorry! "Hey Rorry! You're going to dead Languages too?! That's great!" Since Rorry had to read backwards it made Roswell feel a lot better knowing he wasn't the only one who had trouble reading. Roswell pictured the two of them having study sessions together with Draconia, figureing out words together, and all around learning new things. Who knows, maybe he wont have to take summer school again! "We should sit together. Ronan is in our class too." Triple Rrr Team was going to ROCK Dead Lang!!
