Tollo
What?! I'm some silly errand boy!?
Just the small flick of the woman's finger hurt. Still this cow woman was very...motherly and gentle. Tollo stared up at Cattlya as she spoke about taking him along as some errand boy? This group was on a quest!? What pregnant lady?
Looking over to where the Minotauress was pointing he noticed how big the elf woman looked. Did elves get the big while carrying children? Tollo really wasn't sure what he would be doing to help her out but suddenly his hear was grabbed.
"
O-Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow!!! Okay! Okay! I-I'll tell my Grandfather!" he moaned in pain some. Was this all some kind of trick? Were they going to use him too? "
I understand! I-I understand!!"
Rubbing his ear he whimpered a bit when she finally let go. Man that woman was strong! Suddenly Garekk entered and he swallowed a bit, because right after him Frank stepped in.
Frank had followed after the Orc when the couple left. He knew where the boy was and in his hands he carried a large engineered hammer. Frank was ready for a fight but he wasn't expecting the sight before him.
"Well tar me in oil and cook me fer dinner! Damn it all the Charging Guillotine's back!" he exclaimed happily. Taking a puff of his cigar he noticed she must have cleared out the place as well. She had a knack for doing that. "Haven't see those horns of yours in a while girl! So ya found a man to tame yet?" he laughed.
Tollo was saved, good. Still judging by the boy's face he knew that he had been scolded. That was also good. The boy needed a good talking too from a woman. The boy walked up to him slowly his head hanging low.
"
G-Grandpa...I...I...uhh...s...sorry..." Tollo stuttered. Apologizing was something he didn't do much but before the boy could continue Frank got to his knees and hugged him.
"I'm glad you're alive. You had me so worried! I told ya not to deal with the scum down here. If I lost ya...I dunno how I could go on myself honestly..." he said kindly to the boy tearing up some.
Tollo exploded into tears again. "
I'm sorry!!! I just....I just wanted to be of some help to you!!!" he sobbed. "
Y-You work so hard, I-I didn't want to be a burden. I wanted to make money too so I could help pay for things!"
"I know..." he replied kindly, "You're like your father, always wanting to help. Always getting in the way and tryin' to keep up with me. No one can keep up with Frank the Tank." he chuckled then pat his head. "It's alright, it's my fault too for not showin' ya how to build things."
Tollo looked up at him and wiped his eyes. "
The nice bull lady says she's going to take me with her! Her group is on a serious quest! That fat elf is havin' a baby so she said I might need ta help her too!" Tollo said with hope in his voice.
Frank stood and took a long and deep puff on his cigar. Staring at Cattleya for a moment he wondered why she said that? Tollo was a boy, not a strapping adventurer! Still, getting out of Scrapp and seeing the world might be good for Tollo. Frowning he crossed his arms.
"Alright, if yer gonna be draggin' my one and only grandson along Chargin' Guillotine, then I'm puttin' ya in charge of makin' sure he ain't gonna die! Also, I'm gonna need those parts for Garekk here! Though if you all are a part of the group that came in I suppose those parts will help fix whatever you're ridin' on as well?" he stated to her scratching his chin in thought.
No one said "No" to this girl, not even old grouchy grandfathers. She was wild and untamed and carved her path with her dreams. Heaven help the man she desired to have children with and marry. They would be in for the ride of their life! Still the damn woman would make a nice mother, seein' how she had a soft spot for children. "Garekk let's get those parts back ta my workshop! If the Chargin' Guillotine is part of your group then I've gotta hurry. Ain't no stopping this woman once she's got started!" he laughed.
Turning the old man hid his concerns and fears to the group. Taking another deep and long puff of smoke it floated into the air and swirled around his head some. "Cattleya, I don't care what Tollo does with you guys, but if you're goin' down to the pits keep an eye on him! Just make sure he comes back to me in one piece...though I would like to say goodbye before ya all leave." he said with sincerity as he left the guild.
Tollo stared at his grandfather. He wasn't going to force him to tag along!? He could go with these people! AWESOME!!! Turning to look at the group he grinned. Putting on his goggles he gave them all a cute peace sign. "
Don't worry you all will have nothing to fear! The Great Tollo is here to protect you all!" he stated cheerfully.
