Theo's hand finally reached the top and he hauled himself up into the spires. The absol had sped up far in front of him, making him realized this was a race. Not just a simple luring, the pokemon was testing whether he had the capability or not. Theo would released Midnight back out. "Midnight, we are chasing the absol" as he said that he would jump across to the other spires. There was no hesitation in him, this was a dream after all. He won't die save feeling the pain.
█ ██ █ OUT of CONTENT (( not sure how my pokemon can help, but guess I need it out ))
Not once would the Absol look back as he continued to speed forward, still well ahead of the pair; and before they knew it he would vanish. Seemed they'd fallen too far behind, and now they didn't have a prayer of ever catching up.
The absol was simply too fast for them to follow. The pokemon was moving farther and farther as they ran and jumped after it. Theo had to stop each jump to regain his balance as he wobbled backward dangerously. One time he even slipped and had to haul himself up. The difference between their skill was too great. "We lost him" Theo said sweating from running. He didn't feel bad from failing the challenge. There was things he could do and things he couldn't. "A good long way down for us"he wasn't too eager to go back down, but staying up wasn't an option either. The way down was faster than climbing up, he had somewhat found out the trick to do so. Even if Midnight clung to him, terrified of the sheer height.
((You forgot to roll 2/3 lost, games over.)) Irony.

What the boy encountered next would be something of an odd sight. It was a Cacnea, but not just any Cacnea, it was one dancing around a sombrero with a dusty, dead flower in it's mouth!
Theo didn't begin walking for awhile when he returned back on the solid ground. He had decided to rest before continuing. As he sat, a cacnea passed with rhythm. The pokemon looked ridiculous dancing around with flower on its mouth."What now?" he asked toward nobody. Midnight was by Theo's side and was puzzled by the cacnea's behaviour. The pokemon didn't feel hostile at the moment. It appeared to be having fun dancing. "Why are you dancing?"Midnight asked the cacnea.
He would actually find that stare to be more than a bit uncomfortable ...as he flicks a bit of dirt from one shoulder.
(So, you are suppose to communicate a willing to battle with me, or is this simply a challenge?)
(Neither matter, I want you to drop that stupid Charmander ...fire breathers are useless in my challenges. Don't you have a pokemon that likes to get dirty like me, because, the game I want to play is diggy ...diggy.)
He would tell them both as he slide down from his perch. He would stomp one foot and then the other against the ground.
(The goal of the game is simple, first pokemon to dig their way to the center of this mountain is the winner, but it's not an easy thing to do ....afterall, there is the chances of cave in, and such. Also, you have to make it a point to secure your hole, otherwise, there is the chance of collapse.)
The pokemon would tell them both.
(So, do you have a pokemon that would be more at home underground?)
The Lavritar would ask
(The way this game works, is that the first to 100 wins. This game actually use the 1d20 at first, but the deeper you go without securing your hole the better the chance it will collapse on your pokemon. Which mean for one turn you don't roll the dice, and you have to subtract that roll from your count and lose one turn before you can start again. Your roll is reduce by 5, each time that you choose not to secure your hole. Any roll 7 or below is a tunnel collapse.
So, let's see if I can make this clear. WE both start off rolling 1d20, I choose the next turn to secure the hole, so I don't roll that turn, but you continue without. Thus, you are now doing a random number of 1 - 15. You roll a 7, so the next turn you can't roll, and you have to subtract 7 from your total. Whoever gets to 100 first win)
In this particular instance Fable was forced to keep himself from providing the Larvitar with a rather titanic, flaming slap to the face. Well it wasn't like the Charmander was notoriously well known for keeping his cool after all. A hand on his head belonging to Raven however would prevent the action. Instead the young trainer would simply reach to the side of his belt, bringing forth the second ball which he held upon his belt, the first Pokemon of whom he'd ever truly captured...least in the traditional sense.
A simple lob would release the beast held within, and the land would shake under the sudden weight, along with the thrashing of a large metallic tail. With beady red eyes the Steelix known otherwise as Genn would look down at the Larvitar, and immediately appear somewhat disappointed. Unaware of the actual circumstances, he could only see this as a pebble facing off against an rockslide. Raven of course would merely gesture to the Steelix, calming raising an eyebrow and asking "Better?"

The Cacnea's retort would come simple and sweet, as his magnificent feet carried him around the hat in a series of surprisingly intricate steps ">Why are you not dancing?<" Well asked a stupid question, get a stupid answer as they said.
The lavritar would look the pokemon up and down, and sigh.
(If that is the best you got ...I guess it will have to be)
The pokemon would state as if the Steelix was dirt between his toes, and in his mind he was. Afterall, the shame of a pokemon that showed itself to be more Steel than ground didn't exactly sit well with him.
Though, for the moment, there was nothing he could do.
(I guess, I am starting this one off first ...)
The little pokemon would take one paw and drive it into the ground then another and another as he started the first deep hole that would be his tunnel.
(Just don't get lost underground ....I won't be coming to pull your tail out of it)
There was no fear of this pokemon that was almost a hundred times his size or at least his length.
Grey Moonfang IV rolled 1 20-sided dice:
16Total: 16 (1-20)
Genn showed no rage nor displeasure in the Larvitar's smack talk, the steely hided Pokemon merely shrugged it off and chuckled as he plunged forward, biting into the earth as if it were an ample. His kind were by their nature soil eaters. Dirt, rocks, mineral deposits, inorganic material was their bread and butter...literally. Thus, thumping his tail against the ground the Steelix would rip into the ground with the relish of a fatman at a pie eating contest.
Raven on the other hand would merely stand aside, arms crossed, a mildly disgruntled look on his face. On the inside was seething, but he wouldn't give the Larvitar the pleasure of knowing about that.
After several minutes of running, Sora finally decided to stop for a while and catch his breath. He was damn near ready to have an anxiety attack. So far he'd lost two pokemon. One of which completely vanished, and the other just knock out unconscious. All he had left was his Vullaby. This sucked, he would have to venture through this world with only one pokemon. Colleting himself, Sora took a final deep breath. On the bright side, they weren't officially gone. Just not in this Dream World. Finally feeling reassure and relaxed, Sora continued to walk.
Continuing down the dirt path, he came across a box with a blue-ish tail sticking out. Now he was certainly contemplating whether to check it out or not. Again his gut feeling told Sora to leave it and move on. This time he went with his gut feeling and proceeded to move along. "-sigh- Alright, all I need to do is just get this task done and over with and we'll be back home in no time."

(19 - points 2/??????)
(-3 = (3/???? - 3 points - (lost one post - roll 1d20 again)
Though the Steelix was just getting started it would seem that on his first turn ....he would literally drop the dirt on himself. It wasn't enough to stop the pokemon from proceeding for long, because he had just started. Though it did give the lavritar a huge lead as the pokemon decided not to stop and reinforce anything. He would instead, just continue to dig as if his life depended on it. He figured he could do down another few feet before he had to stop.
